marielo thx for that info, i'm back. i left because i was so frustrated with that lamp. so now that i'm not thinking about the lamp i'm stuck with the colors on the box back it's not working for me.

ReplyDeleteunlit all colors, then lit only green purple lite blue, then relit all colors, then unlit every color but green,purple, lite blue then it worked who knows why.....
so took advice of above post and refreshed game, but when i loaded the paper wasn't filled out and i didn't have the pen anymore so i quit!!!!!!! :(((((
ReplyDeleteok the lamp on desk does move. you have to get behind desk view first then click somewhere to right and you get close up side view of lamp base and then you can use the wrench. then back out a few times and go to the coffee table view and you will see the #20 in the red glow on coffee table

ReplyDeleteYes, this game MUST be buggy, I never ONCE used the wrench. Never clicked the table lamp. This on the third time playing the game.. and still, I managed to get out. Useless wrench! ^^

ReplyDeleteThe wrench is used to detach the table lamp from the desk and allow it to turn and shine on the Moose's right eye, then through the other eye to the bookcase or the table. However, it is true that it is not strictly necessary to win the game, because the light (somehow - probably a mistake) can shine to the bookcase and the table without coming from the desk lamp first.

ReplyDelete1. Click on the bottom right of the shelves and get the bottle on the right. Also click on the cups (half hidden behind chair) and get the gold key from the cup on the left.
3. Click on the table and get the chocolate (top row, one over from left) and move the ashtray; note the shape and number. (circle 53)
4. Go left; click on plant and get stick. Then go back and click on chair on right; get screwdriver. Click on the desk; note candle at the left and lamp (bolted down) on the right.
5. Click on floorlamp; use screwdriver on the base, then click on it and note the shape and number. (square 10)
6. Go back. Click on bar on wall and take the left hook.
7. Go back. Click on right side of moose head and take its eye.
8. View the eye in your inventory ('about item'), then combine it with the hook from the wall.
9. Go left. Click on the bookcase; take the candle. Click near the middle of the bottom right shelf. Note the equation. (circle x triangle + square)
10. Click in the middle of the upper left shelf. Use the key you made with the moose's eye to open the book. Take the black bar. View it and combine the stick with it to make a hammer.
11. View the bottle, then use the hammer to smash it and get the blue marble.
12. Return to the desk. Click on the candle to light it, then select the candle in your inventory and click on the candle on the desk to light your candle.
13. Go back to the middle of the room, then right to the short bookcase. Click on the thing above the chair, between the red button and the printer. Put the candle under it and then chocolate on top. Click on the chocolate to get the silver key.
14. Go back to the desk; click down to view the drawers. Use the gold key on the top drawer and the silver key on the middle drawer. Get the pen and the wrench.
15. OPTIONAL Go to the desk lamp and release it with the wrench, then go back once until you see the entire lamp and click on it to turn it around.
16. Go to the moose and put the blue marble in its right eye (on your left). Go to the bookcase and click on the big bars of color on the top. Observe the new colors (green, purple, turquoise).
17. Return to the desk and click on the bottom drawer. Click on the squares in the same order they were in on the bookcase and open the box. Get the yellow marble.
18. Put the marble in the moose's left eye (your right).
19. Click on the coffee table and observe the new shape and number. (triangle 20) Go back to small bookcase: the button has turned blue. Click on it and a panel slides up. Enter the code you get from the equation - and don't forget the order of operations! 53 + (20 x 10)
20. Get the paper. View it in your inventory and use the pen to fill it out. Then insert it in the upper, narrow slot of the printer. Get the key from the bottom of the printer and you're out!
