transform it to analogic time

Can't figure out the clock...any help would be great!
ReplyDeletehello, new here - will try to explain clocks
ReplyDeleteAnybody able to explain the purple room...still not getting it. How do you "transform" from digital to analog?
ReplyDeletefor example: turn all clocks that you can in purple room to green (if youre not in purple room yet, read other posts here)
ReplyDeletethen you notice that only 9 clocks can turn to green, we will turn these into a digital number readout - bear with me here:
so - top left green clock reads 3:30 - imagine the hands of clock for 3:30 are as below
_
|
(roughly) so this means top left of the green number is shaped like that (corner)
next green clock reads 9:30: hands of clock are as below:
_
|
so - top right corner of our new digital number will be another corner shape
six shapes = one digital number; lets carry on and finish the green to get it clear in our minds
next green clock (below 3:30) reads 6:00, as does the one next to it so the 2nd line of our digital number will look like this:
| |
| |
(roughly) remember, those lines represent minute and hour hands for 6:00, okay?
last two green clocks read: 3:00 and 9:00 so they will look like this as minute and hour hands:
| |
_ _
(roughly, just connect them together at corners).
NOW we put all lines together to draw a big "zero", and that is our number for green.
If you're following me, you will know how to make the other numbers now, just draw them on paper.
=) gl all
ok, im no good at ascii chars, so my last two clocks didnt come out well let me explain the green clocks again so sorry!
ReplyDeletetop green clock will be top left corner of our "digital" readout number
it says 3:30 so it looks like this on analog clock, with the lines being minute and second hands:
._
|
Ignore the dots, this makes a corner - that is top of our "digital" number for the code in green room.
next green clock (beside 1st one) is 9:30 - imagine in minute hand and second hand, it is this:
-
.|
again, ignore dots and the lines make corner - top right corner of our digital number
next two clocks, 6:00 and 6:00 look like this if u imagine them as minute and second hands:
|
|
easy enough, these are lines - one on each side of our "digital" number
finally the last two green clocks:
3:30 imagine it on an analog clock, hands are like this:
|_
(make a corner)
9:30 imagine on analog clock, hands are like this:
_|
so draw them all together u get a rectangle, which would be zero. I hope this makes some sense!
gl all and thanks for all the helpful comments!
Got it now...key word to transform.....draw it onto paper. Thanks so much....you're awesome!
ReplyDelete*hint* click the table top in green room after you unlock it and after you pick up the leaf =)
ReplyDeleteOut....Thanks again Barbara...you saved me :)

ReplyDeleteHow to get into the black room?
ReplyDeleteWhat exactly is the point of posting on here??? Half the time it's pointless saying "First"...or finding something...but keeping it a big secret!!!
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm new here - been trying out all the games. I used to think I am reasonably intelligent, but these games (and you all) make me feel like a total dunce!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I can't even get past the the screen which shows a leaf door then different coloured doors. Tried clicking all over and nothing happens, can't find anything to collect, nothing. There's talk of rooms and tables and all sorts; way beyond my tiny brain's capacity. Can some kind soul help me to, erm, start the game?!
Thanks
Lizzie

ReplyDeletein the green room click on the right corner of the box, push the botton, go to the black room...look up, look at the stars..as you see every color show a word...you get SPACE. write it, put the 5 "heart" in the door, and you're out..
ReplyDeletesorry for my bad english...I'm from Hungary. After all, in the hungarian forums the solution is done :)
Nice Day!
OK, I have now managed to get through all the doors except the black one. I can't work out what the code is for the green box (5207 didn't work for me); have turned all the clocks I can green but have no idea how that's supposed to help. Could someone please help with the code?
ReplyDeleteAnyone still stuck on this?
ReplyDelete@Elizabeth, the code does work. I think I clicked on the padlock or padlock top bar and then it was open when I closed the view.
ReplyDeletePhew, worked it out. It was 5207; don't know why it dodn't work first time!
ReplyDeleteOK, I've done it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your help all. Does one get better at these the more one plays? I hope so!I can only do them by reading walk throughs, and even then I struggle :(
Thank you for the explanations, I would never have found the clock code by myself. Now, how do we enter the black room ?
ReplyDeleteyay!!!
ReplyDeletei came back and people got past the purple room!!!
good job Carol!!!
i had thought there was something to do with there being six of each color but i wasn't sure how to make a code out of it
@elizabeth
ReplyDeleteyou do get better after repitition
you end up finding out where you should look for clues and hot spots
like to play, but i will wait for tonight, maybe there will be more online
ReplyDeletehere is an image link of purple room if you still have a problem.[Thx,dora]

for the clockc, remmber code BRGO,
ReplyDeletefirst put all the possible clocks in blue
you will end up with 2 columns of 3 hours
3:30 8:45
3:00 6:45
3:15 9:00
it is like drawing a number with matches, every clock is two matches, and remember there are 2 columns face to face, keep them in this order.
For blus it gives 5
uops didn't refresh the page...continuing to search :-)
ReplyDeleteentering the black room by pressing letter O on carpet with 4 colors where BRGO
ReplyDeleteokies .. ive done possibly thousands of escape games and never given up on any i can remember ... but i am sick and tored of clicking on this lock... even restarted and the stupid thing still wont open for me so im out giving up on this one!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteTurn twice (left or right, doesn't matter) and examine top of Yellow room to get the Coin.
ReplyDeleteClick back and turn left, enter the Red room.
Grab the Leaf from the table.
Open the top drawer to get the code (Up, Down, Middle, Up).
Look under the table and use the coin to open the cache.
Arrange the sliders according to the code and click the button.
Return to the Red room proper and open the bottom cupboard, grab the Magnifying Glass.
Examine the Magnifying Glass to get the Mirror.
Leave the Red room and enter the Blue room.
Use the Mirror on the blue screen (make a circle motion) to get the next clue.
Count all the triangles on the individual shapes (3, 5, 35, 20).
Follow the math solution to get the code (+ x x) (3503).
Grab the Leaf.
Leave the Blue room and enter the Green room.
Grab the Tripod.
Examine the table for the clue (Blue, Red, Green, Orange).
Leave the Green room and return to the Blue room.
Put the Tripod on the light, then the Mirror on the Tripod. Look up for the next clue (NEWS).
Leave the Blue room and enter the Yellow Room.
Spell "NEWS" by clicking on the letters in the proper order.
Click the "E" again.
Near the middle of the right is a hidden cache, click to open then grab the Leaf and the Key.
Exit the Yellow room and turn right.
Use the Key to open the locking mechanism. Then pull the switch to unlock the Purple room.
Turn all clocks that will go Blue (there is another shelf above these two).
Map out the number as it would be on a clock

Follow this for each other Blue clock. Followed by Red, Green, and Orange.

Click the lock on the table and enter the code, then click the top of the lock.
Grab the Leaf, then click on the O. Click the button to open the Black room.
Leave the Green room and head to the Black Room.
Remember the colors on the wall in their order (Yellow, Green, Red, White, Blue), look up.
Use the mouse to look at the stars, examine the shapes of the colors.
Yellow: S
Green: P

Return to the floor and enter the code.
Click Open and grab the Leaf.

Congradulations, you escaped. Enjoy the picnic.
Has anyone noticed the screws above the shelf that the clocks are on?
ReplyDeleteThey aren't important, you lose the coin long before you enter the Purple room.
ReplyDeleteOUT
ReplyDeleteOMG.......I finally get it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your help last night Carol.

ReplyDeletenottypomy, enter the numbers then click right above them on the lock when on the same screen.
ReplyDeleteohhh....finally Iunderstand the clocks after using pen and paper and ofcourse the many, many help from all of you. Thanks very much!!
ReplyDeletewhat's happening? the game stops running.Well ok I start over again!
ReplyDeleteafter the clocks it was easy to play the game!! thanks for the help with the clock!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what's going on. This morning I was able to put the code in under the table in the red room with no problem at all, but I had to quit. Now, I've tried to restart the game 5 or 6 times, including through other websites, and putting the "up, down, down halfway, up" code doesn't open the cabinet for the mirror. I've tried it by putting all the switches through one or two complete cycles before setting them and I've tried by only touching the middle two to set them, but no go. If I hadn't gotten it to work this morning, I'd just figure I wasn't doing it right.
ReplyDeleteANYBODY else having this problem, or is it just poor pitiful me???
@zoz, did you zoom at the memo with the arrows. You must do that first, otherwise the game will thinj you aren't playing fair(lol)
ReplyDeletethinj=think
ReplyDelete@zoz I think that's the problem, because when I started over I did have the same problem. I just wanted to start to quickly for to figure out the clocks
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDelete@alkmar, thank you so much! Zooming in on the arrows was the solution to my problem. I had to walk away for awhile and do some chores, so it was especially nice to come back to such helpful comments. You are so kind.
ReplyDelete@Misasura, thanks for such a great walkthrough. There is absolutely NO WAY I would have figured out the clock code OR the star code without your walkthrough. Thank you for saving my sanity for another day!

ReplyDeleteExplaining the clocks:
ReplyDeleteBlue - Change all of the clocks that you are able to change to blue. You should end up with 8 blue clocks, in 2 columns. Ignore all the other clocks.
Top left clock should read 3:30. If you were to read this time on a clock with hands, it would look like this:
O________
|
|
|
|
|
Make note of this shape on a piece of paper.
The clock beside it reads 8:45. This would look like a straight line across with arms pointing to the left of center.
_____________O
Write this shape down to the right of the first shape. Drawing should look like this:
O___________ ___________o
|
|
|
|
|
|
Middle clock in first column is 3:00. Draw like this
|
|
|
|
o_____________
...and put underneath the 3:30 diagram.
Beside that one, put a diagram of 6:45 like this:
(You’ll have to ignore the dots, it is the only way I could figure to get the spacing correct.)
__________o
...................|
...................|
...................|
...................|
Now your diagram should look like this:
O___________ ___________o
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
o_____________ __________o
....................................................|
....................................................|
....................................................|
....................................................|
....................................................|
Hopefully, you can see that this is starting to form the shape of the number 5. When you add the bottom two clocks, (3:15 and 9:00) you should have a completed drawing of a 5.
o________ ________o
|
|
|
|
|
|
o_______ ________ o
...................................|
...................................|
...................................|
...................................|
...................................|
...................................|
o_______ ________ o
That is how you transform the blue digital clocks into the number 5.
Is that as clear as mud? lol. Took me a very long time to see it.
don't understand what anyone is saying about clocks?? I am just stupid today. Please just say the times input on first shelf and etc, from left to right. Please???
ReplyDelete@Chris: Think of the clocks as a grid, then input the symbols that they would make on that grid.
ReplyDeletedo you now that in the room with digital number you can klik abouf it an see 2 srews
ReplyDeletesorry for my bad englis i'm dutch.

Some games i figure out by myself. others such as this one, well momma always told me, let someone else ask the question, but just stick around for the answer. Thanks to Carol.
ReplyDeletehard cant solve
ReplyDeleteFor the purple room, you must enter this code in the green room 5207, then click the 'o' of orange
