ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeletei am confused, so many hints and no real idea... the sign under the letters is the sign for libra and with a little phantasy the green dots in the right cupboard is the star constellation of libra

ReplyDeleteHmm, Shakespeare and Verona: something with Romeo and Juliet?
ReplyDeleteThe "o" in Glove on the poster is the symbol for Earth. The other letters look strange too, but I haven't found a meaning for them yet. Also, the Roman numberal II on the Zodiac book stands for Gemini. Libra is the 7th sign, Gemini is the 3rd, and Earth is the 3rd planet, so some combo of 733 for the User ID? I have no idea where I'm going with this...
ReplyDeletethe userId etc may be more than the 3 and 2 digits as you can delete the userid and password letters
ReplyDeleteo.k., so far we have references to Shakespeare (book and picture), Zodiac (book and two symbols), but what about the third book? Anything doggy in this room?
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure that isn't Charles Darwin in the first picture.
ReplyDeleteoo~an imposter??? who could it be?
ReplyDeleteI think CD is a writer ... the other ones are too.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I think it's Charles Dickens (1812-1870). That would make their order of deaths Poe (40),Orwell (47), Shakespeare (52), and Dickens (58).
ReplyDeleteYeeeh ... good thinking Celeste!
ReplyDeleteAuthor's mistake?
ReplyDeleteclick Shakespeare,Darwin,Poe,Orwell,"WS".
You will get a key.
Sigh ... I have to go ... good luck everybody!
ReplyDeleteThat order doesn't give me a key :(
ReplyDeleteHi everybody, i am at the same place as you are.
ReplyDeleteXenon you are a genius, with the key i have got a screwdriver and a gum and unscrewed the chair now, need the right zodiac signs now.
thanks Xenon~~i will work on the gum while the code crackers work on the zodiac confusion!! lol
ReplyDeleteSo not the order of the ages when they died, but the order of when they were around. I also had to click "CD" after the "WS" to get the key. Thanks Xenon!
ReplyDeleteI clicked as Xenon said and then once more WS under the photo. Key popped out.
ReplyDeletecombine gum and stick
ReplyDeleteUse gum with stick for green card.
ReplyDeleteand get green paper with numbers
ReplyDeleteuse new key on chair, get a display with zodiac signs
ReplyDeletesorry - use new key on desk drawer (!), get screwdriver and gum, use driver on chair!
ReplyDeleteI enterd some signs by chance and got now INV PIN on the blue display ???
ReplyDeletemaybe that means invalid pin
ReplyDeleteINV(ert) PIN comes when you click the scorpio sign at the end.
ReplyDeleteI think you are right larue.
ReplyDeleteLZBEhb is the code for Zodiac pad.
ReplyDeleteupsidedown.
looks like we need a 6 digit number code
ReplyDeleteCould there be a connection between Shakespeare and Gemini? Google "Shakespeare Enigma", you`ll find a story of there having been two Shakespeares, twins, one the author, one the actor.
ReplyDeleteGot it open, it gives another key !!
ReplyDelete"CD" is Charles Dickens.
ReplyDeleteI don't get what you mean by upside down, or how those letters relate to the symbols. Another hint please?
ReplyDeleteI don´t get it Xenon :(
ReplyDeleteIn closet, a binary clock i think ?
ReplyDeleteOh, wait, you mean 943827? Yay!
ReplyDeleteok so we invert and what number is B?
ReplyDeletei came up with 72_349????? lol
wrong word? sorry.
ReplyDeleterotate 180 degrees. you will see numbers.
Hi all, the key opens the drawer where laptop is. You take a screwdriver and bubble gum. Use bubble gum with stick and bingo! You can use you sticky stick to reach the green card behind the safe.
ReplyDeleteNow I am working on th code
Xenon = Genius
ReplyDeleteoops lol!
ReplyDeleteNo Xenon - you used the right word. I was just expecting to see symbols, and I wasn't thinking in terms of numbers. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteXenon, you had the correct word...as soon as I turned it upside down I saw it. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteYeah finally !!!
ReplyDeleteThx Xenon.
15H20'45 AND 03H20'45 not working ....
ReplyDeleteoops was for me having it backwards!
ReplyDeleteis 943287 the code for the zodiac under the chair? if so, what do we click after entering it to open?
ReplyDeleteclick leo sign to enter the code (the "m")
ReplyDeletei mean 943827 sorry
ReplyDeletetyvm drisana
ReplyDeleteCode for safe: Take radio frequency (4 digits) followed by the time on the clock on the wall (by the safe, 3 digits).
ReplyDeleteSPOILER
1025505
radhu - since mine is open, I can no longer see which one it is, but I think it is one of the "M" looking symbols.
ReplyDeleteIn the bottom left cabinet, the machine with buttons that turn green - TimePro is a company that makes time sheet readers for companies to keep track of workers' hours. It looks like we need a sheet to stick in the bottom right slot? Or maybe pressing the correct buttons will produce a sheet.
Anyone with the binary clock ?
ReplyDeleteI event tried the other clock, 5H05 / 17H05 but not working.....
Any ideas about the clock thing in cabinet ?
ReplyDeleteEveryone's Zodiac keypad the same?
ReplyDelete3 _ _ _ 5

ReplyDeletehere is a french link on how it works
http://toujoursbranche.free.fr/index.php?post/2009/02/16/L-horloge-binaire
The ripped bookpage is from the poem of E.A. Poe "The Raven"
ReplyDeletety drisana.. i'll take a look at that link
ReplyDeleteGreen note tells you a baseball-code in the right cupboard.
ReplyDeletehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baseball_positions
click numbers in the order of green note, then click right bottom button.
yesss xenon
ReplyDeleteAwesome! So now it looks like we have a page from Animal Farm by George Orwell.
ReplyDeletety xenon.. got another page ripped out of book
ReplyDeleteYes !!! Second page....
ReplyDeleteDrisana i understand the binary clock now and i entered 15:20:45 from the blue clock on the shelf but nothing happened, why ?
I entered:
ReplyDeletexxxxxx

ReplyDeletethx zazie .. got a yellow swipe card now.. used on door.. now have to find dog's name!
ReplyDeletereminds me of rumpelstiltskin.. lol
ReplyDeleteThe same as mine and now it worked suddenly :)
ReplyDeleteIt must be braille the signs on the door panel, the language for blind people.
ReplyDeleteZazie, are only numbers no blind code, i am playing in another page but i come here for a hint
ReplyDeleteI understand the binary clock, but I still can't get it work. I've pressed the same buttons as described above to turn them green, and then pressed set, but nothing happens.
ReplyDeleteCeleste the same happened to me, but after the 3rd try it worked (i made all buttons grey again before retrying)
ReplyDeleteMarta i just have got aware of what you said.
There are two dog names in the paper "jessie" and Bluebell", maybe a hint.
anyone know user id & pw for laptop?
ReplyDeletebut it's a numbre with 5 digits and we have four word underlined and the green paper, we are from Spain and we are stuck with the name
ReplyDeletei forgot the pc jajaja
ReplyDeleteI'm losing count of how many times I've tried :-( I've even backed out of the cabinet and gone back it. I've tried pressing the correct buttons in different orders - nada.
ReplyDeleteCeleste:
ReplyDeletefist colum push 4
second 2 and 4
third 3
fourth dont push anyone
fifth 2
sixth 2 and 4
u maybe doing something wrong celeste.. mine worked 1st time after following zazie's comment
ReplyDeletefrom up to down Celeste
ReplyDeleteTo those who are having troubles with the binary clock, Be Carefull! if you have turned any button green and then exited from that screen, when you come back you see those buttons in grey, but they are really in green. Notice you will need two clicks to turn them gren again, instead of one. You can do this: before entering the code turn all buttons green and then turn them grey again, and then enter the code. Regards
ReplyDeleteperhaps the name of the dog must be entered like on a phone keypad?
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone! The problem was what Kpoman described - evidently some of my buttons were really still green after past failed attempts.
ReplyDeleteZazie, where do you see jessie and bluebell? my paper haven't it
ReplyDeleteAny clue on the pages stuff, or the laptop? I have tried al possible combinations for User, pass, and network from the things i got from the pages but no luck.
ReplyDeleteI wonder... Shakespeare, Verona, astrological signs, star crossed lovers, Romeo & Juliet, dogs...the dog star - Sirius?
ReplyDeleteShakespeares's dog was called Hooker but I don't know if it helps.
ReplyDeleteThe dog names are written on the second paper from the baseball code cabinet, it is from Orwells "Animal Farm" i guess.
ReplyDeleteI have googled and i read that Napoleons dogs were Pincher, Jessie and Bluebell.
ReplyDeleteI think and item is absente between green and white paper maybe we need it
ReplyDeleteahhhh, we havent de baseball code can we help us?
ReplyDeleteLeft side of green paper are two white papers.
ReplyDeletethis is too difficult.. i give up.. good luck all..
ReplyDeleteXenon explained baseball code :
ReplyDeleteGreen note tells you a baseball-code in the right cupboard.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baseball_positions
click numbers in the order of green note, then click right bottom button.
i did it but i cant
ReplyDeleteI am too blond ... ;-)
ReplyDeleteZazie, I am really not getting the baseball code ... I've tried hard but it doesn't work for me ... ?
dont feel bad za...i dont want to even google had to start all over each time...
ReplyDelete1376454382 and righ bottom but nothing happens
ReplyDeleteIt's oke shelly ...I am not seeing it, that's all. I think it is too easy, i am thinking too hard, I guess ... HEEEEELPPPPP ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteZa, you dont really subtract the numbers, you just hit them in order according to the link Xenon posted...
ReplyDelete1 3 7 6 4 5 4 3 8 2 then the bottom right button
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baseball_positions
i hope this helps :)
ZA if you look at the green drawing on the baseball site Xenon gave us, there are the same dots (positions) as on our green paper.
ReplyDeleteYou just have to turn the website drawing slightly to the left corner in your mind, and then click the green dots in cupboard in this sequence as given on the website:
1376454382
Then click the dot in the right corner.
thats an even better explanation Horst K.!!!
ReplyDeleteits ok Sarah. Hope you got it! Any ideas about dogs name or computer?
ReplyDeletei got it thanks
ReplyDeleteThanks Horst and Sarah!!
ReplyDeleteFINALLY
No Horst, i tried lots of dognames but nothing.
ReplyDeleteAnd i even don´t know what could be network on the PC...
yeah Horst, i got it the first try awhile ago, but it is a little confusing lol but i have no clue about dogs name or computer, still stuck with everyone else.......ughhh lol
ReplyDeleteI have to go now and come back later, hopefully you´ll make some progress !
ReplyDeleteGood luck !!!
Your welcome Za!!! i'm just glad i could help! :)
ReplyDeleteOn laptop you see a pig and a bird. Tried "snowball" (Animal farm) and "Raven" (E.A.Poe) and AOL but no luck...
ReplyDeleteHorst ... why should it be a dogs name (because of the book?)
ReplyDeleteThe door wants to have a 5 gigit dogname.
ReplyDeletedoor code ask for the dog name Za
ReplyDeleteups... digit..
ReplyDeleteThe door will only allow numbers 7,8, and 9 Though.
ReplyDeleteHave we used the clue of the trophies yet. Maybe they will help with something?
ReplyDeletemy head burns
ReplyDeleteCan anyone help me with that zodiac * thingy* under the chair leg? I put in: 943827 but nothing happens ...
ReplyDeleteWe are from 10 am with this game, I thing we are going to give up
ReplyDeleteput the number and then push sagitarius
ReplyDeleteBluebell, Jessie, and Pincher (three dogs)
ReplyDeleteMarta ... nothing happens
ReplyDeleteit's 943827 and sagitarius, try again
ReplyDeletegot it ....
ReplyDeleteHorst K's diagram of the baseball field is great, but the 1 and 2 are reversed (pitcher is 1, catcher is 2 instead of the other way around that's in the diagram)
ReplyDeleteI hope this helps someone, because this is about all I can contribute to this infernal game!
I'm in my job, what a shame, I pass all the morning with the game but i must leave now, good luck
ReplyDeletethx zoz indeed you are right! will remove this post and correct!!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right zoz ... I've forgotten to mention it. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAnyone ... the pw and userID?
The number of Players on a baseball field:
ReplyDelete_____7____8
__________9
5__6
__1__4
2____3
press buttons like numbers from green sheet and then press bottom right button
does anyone know the significance of the red, blue, and green underlines on the two book pages?
ReplyDeleteThis is too late and the game just ridiculously difficult for me!
ReplyDeletefirst of all, thanks to all you geniuses, how clever everybody!
ReplyDeletei've looked at the sites of gamershood and nordinho, but you guys are way ahead.
I have no idea for any of the answers, so i'll wait untill one of you get (again) a great idea.
well, gotta go for now, hopefully someone will have a stroke of luck here lol
ReplyDeleteSeems like Nordinho players gave up when they couldn't use the stick. That may have been the smartest move, lol.
ReplyDeleteHave you noticed that underlines are of the same color that books? Perhaps this is a clue?
ReplyDeletedid anyone figure out the signifigance of the green spot on italy map...?
ReplyDeleteseems like we have given up too?
ReplyDeleteI've googled on the internet for dog names of the book, but none of them has 5 letters.
About the computer i have no idea how so ever.
if your just joining grab the stick next to the door and have pen and paper ready...your gonna need it...lol
ReplyDeleteand who's the guy on the poster "I think I was married to"? ...what's on his hand? ...is it supposed to be a hint?
ReplyDeleteOk, I can confirm that the green area on the map is Verona. I have just found the same exact map on google. Now where does it fit in this puzzle?
ReplyDeleteignore that creepy painting...havent used it thus far...lol
ReplyDeletei think some stuff is just a ruse...
ReplyDeleteI got the stick to work after many tries,,,but the baseball? forget it! After 10 + attempts...I am done. Maybe the creator of this game can clean it up a bit and re post it..It is a good challenge and well thought out but BUGGY as all get out!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck all!
The picture on the pc is from the flying pig brewery in WA ... it doesn't make any sense.
ReplyDeleteNever mind :-)
For some reason the baseball-code isn't working for me.
ReplyDeleteWell, five letters. A page ripped out of book tells about Napoleon. He had dogs named Sambo and other Lauro. (if that's right info from http://www.napoleonguide.com/napdog3.htm )
ReplyDeleteWELL I CAN'T GET THE CARD WITH THE STICK EITHER!!!
ReplyDeleteThe baseball code's not working for me either. I've tried it over and over again with no luck.
