you have to click the unfinished bow 1st then it opens a popup where you attach the string

ReplyDelete@ Zazie To make a bow , make sure u have 2 bamboo arrows from using ur axe on the right bunch of bamboo trees.. when u click in one of them in ur inventory it will show up as an about item view, use a brown vine on it and u got the bow

ReplyDeleteThere are TWO areas of the bamboo that you can zoom on, one to the left with two clusters and another to the right.
You can get 6 bamboo pieces from the left cluster (including one piece for the bow and one for the arrow).
Then back up and zoom in on the clump on the right and get more bamboo, including the second arrow.

Scene 1: Get vine...Go up to scene 2
Pick up wood piece, gourd and bamboo sticks...Go up to scene 3
Man faints...Cut gourd in half with knife. Hand gourd to adventurer. He will get water.
Hand adventurer a tent stake and then hammer. Repeat until all but 1 tent stake is used.
Use Tent roll to make tent.
Take bamboo sticks and stand up next to man. Tie with the vine.
Move right to next scene. Click 1st set of bamboo bushes. Use ax on both sides to get all bamboo cut. Make sure on the second stalk you cut both sides of the bamboo.
Move right to bird scene. grab wood piece and both vines. Take smallest bamboo piece and tie the lower vine to the bamboo to make a bow.
Take bow and place next to tree. Pick up one of the smaller bamboo pieces and use as arrow. Click on 1st bird. Take bird. Repeat for 2nd bird.
Return to camp...

i agree this was tedious. but, there have been worse 123bee games in terms of overall playability. no bugs here (that i found).
Walkthrough part 2
ReplyDeleteGive pieces of wood to the lady. Give can of gas to lady. Give matches to lady. She builds a fire. Hang both pieces of meat from the birds. Take meat and give to lady.
Everyone comes out of tent.
Take bamboo and lay next to man into the water. Once all pieces used, use other piece of vine to tie tent together.
Click the raft and you will float off.
Next scene is water fall. Hand the other tent stake to the man and then hammer. Give man the rope. Click on fat dude to have him slide down the rope. All will slide down.
Final scene, cross river click to get into boat. Use knife to cut rope. People will get to hut and live happily ever after I guess.

ReplyDeleteCutting the bamboo - Use axe on very left bunch for five pieces. Then use axe on next bunch once on either side. This gives an arrow and the BOW (this part was what I couldn't find for so long). THEN use axe on right most bunch under tree branch for five more pieces and one more arrow. Only THEN can you make the bow.
