ReplyDeletesomhow clicked on the bottom of the brown cabinets and they lifted up to reveal the note. maybe it was one of the codes that i typed into the panel on wall that made it lift up. sorry it wasn''t very clear..

one of the codes did lift the cabinets - look at the large picture and on the top there are two screws click to get a closer view and then use the screwdriver to get at the panel behind it

ReplyDeletenavigation is difficult and quick clicking causes the whole scene to kind of drag and drop... but as with anything ppl have to learn... and i think any author who spends their time and energy in trying to keep us all amused deserves our thx
AMBLETHROUGH
ReplyDeletefirst scene click black file cabinet, then bottom right corner to get screwdriver
back out twice, go left... move cursor over top left corner of cabinet till it turns to hand and click to get key
turn left... click large painting on above bed.. then click chair on left... again hover cursor on front edge of chair till it turns to hand ... click and get red key
back to file cabinet and use small key to open it... get note
right twice... click top left corner of large painting... use screwdriver... enter code from note
back to first scene and the large dresser will have lifted... see code paper underneath (this code seems to change)
left twice ... put code in wardrobe... open wardrobe and use red key on box... get blue key
do i really need to tell you what to do with the blue key??
@Kingman...great *AMBLETHROUGH* :) I found all codes, SD and silver key but just couldn't get that hotspot on the chair until I peeked at your AT ;) POP...lol!!!! Thank you :)

ReplyDeleteI liked the to and fro to find stuff - much better than some of the pixel-hunts we get every day - but the navigation made it frustrating. Nice little game apart from that - and thanks @kingman for a nice amblethrough :o) help was much needed!
ReplyDeleteProblem is if you use the code to lift wardrobe before you've opened the drawer cabinet, then you can no longer open the cabinet and that messes up the game because you can also not click on chair and get the key...

ReplyDeleteother than the glitch @kingman mentioned (the whole scene tends to drag and drop if you don't click very carefully) I thought it was a great game! Much better than many of the games that are presented as complete and "polished". Nice work @Michel Grigaut!
I ended up using tab key because the navigation confused the heck out of me.
ReplyDeleteClick the center of the wall over the bed and go back...huh? Clicking the edge of the screen allows you turn turn ...except for the time it allows you to find a key.
Also, the highlighting around the selected item in the inventory went away at the end of the game. That made it hard to know if I had a key selected.
The concept is nice, but being more consistent in the navigation (or with labeling the navigation) and with the inventory would really help. I look forward to seeing more from the gamemaker.
