  9. I have no idea what to do with the puzzle

    ReplyDelete
  10. annaby.... i think we've got to untangle it so no strings cross each other!

    ReplyDelete
  11. opened puzzle box!!! now have a cleaver. tip for opening box. you have to make each group of lights not overlap other groups of lights. i pulled all dots to the middle, then worked systematically outward from there. impossible to explain exactly how, but you have to play around with it. sorry i can't explain exact method

    ReplyDelete
  12. yep, got the cleaver... gonna chop stuff, probably that cactus!

  16. there is a rope behind bottom right box at fuit stand

    ReplyDelete
  17. the bureau top drawer needs key

    ReplyDelete
  18. Thanks dideedi, for that puzzle. Took a while but now I have the knife thing.
Use the knife on the stick and put the scissors and the thread on it and you can get a fan.

    ReplyDelete
  19. geroffmeland,
click on the bottom of the (left) leg of the cupboard next to the cactus to get another view.

  21. Thanks, but I'd already found that spot after I asked, its always the way!. Stuck now with 16 gems, scissors, rope and divided stick

    ReplyDelete
  22. I thought the two sticks could lift the cactus, and we would use the stool to reach the cleaver hanging above, but no joy.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Combine scissors, rope and divided stick and get that hanging thing. It's a fan and when you open it there is a clue for the first code.

    ReplyDelete
  24. ha.... only just realised I had to drag the items to use them! Duh!

    ReplyDelete
  25. add scissors to sticks and tie with rope.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hi at all
please - what scissors and i couldn´t use the cleaver on the long Stick...nothing happens

    ReplyDelete
  27. is there someone who can try to explain me the puzzle????

    ReplyDelete
  28. lol power of posting

    ReplyDelete
  29. Hobbit75,
I think the scissors were in the drawer you had to use a key for.
The key was in the cactus and you had to get them with the chop sticks.
Cleaver can cut long stick just keep trying.

    ReplyDelete
  30. thx i already found it ;-)

  38. fanfan,
The puzzle is trying a lot.
The goal is to not let any line cross.
So put some to the outside and see what lines still cross and put those more to the outside and keep on trying like that.

    ReplyDelete
  39. thanks small-tool. but after many tries i can't solve it. i'll come back later, maybe i'll have an idea...

    ReplyDelete
  40. ... if i had a hammer - please can someone make a Walkthrough?

  43. aha... and out, hope the dutch play better against japan tomorrow!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Hello better late than never. Cant find hammer or mallet. Come on England tonight ......

    ReplyDelete
  45. yep Hazel!! but we only have to make 1 goal more from japan :))

can someone show me a picture from the puzzle? I am stuck on it...my fingers are one knob...

    ReplyDelete
  46. d.adams,
you got to use the hint from the fan (with the order from the book) on the code panel behind the cupboard next to the picture.
The cupboard is open then and there is a hammer and a thing with holes in it (on the inside of the door).

    ReplyDelete
  47. how does the code work? five digits but only four spaces on the box

    ReplyDelete
  48. lol did not see that panel before! thanks ST

    ReplyDelete
  49. *sigh* This is the day I wish for a really hard number code for a box rather than straightening out lines. I thought I was good at these kinds of puzzles but not with so many lines. You think you've made progress till you click that one dot that shows four other places that are wrong....*sigh* This has to be a really nice cleaver to keep it under such a lock.

    ReplyDelete
  50. :S...it seems I am the only one with puzzle problem...lol..it isnt my day todaY :D

    ReplyDelete
  51. @alkmar I can assure you that you are not alone in your frustration.

    ReplyDelete
  52. pfff...glad to hear that rose!!!! XD

    ReplyDelete
  53. to what kind of model we have to make this puzzle? I have made a nice model, and lines aren't crossing..but nothing happends, I guess Hermit doesnt like it.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Hey @alkmar - I got so frustrated with that puzzle that I gave up. I'll try it again later today

    ReplyDelete
  55. dunno where to use the pin. any help please?

    ReplyDelete
  56. Out with help for the location of the rope, thanks @Моренкова! :)
At least this game didn't have an impossible (for me) code to figure out as it was in the most recent one in the series. Hmm, I liked the puzzle @alkmar, @annaby, @rose. Keep trying, it's not too difficult and actually you can find it fun.

    ReplyDelete
  57. nvm... out! nice game.

    ReplyDelete
  58. lol@edgar....I cant see lines anymore..maybe I think to difficult.
@edgar, is it possible to make a picture from it..and show it here? meanwhile the "girls"make something nice for to drink and eat :))

    ReplyDelete
  59. broke the picture with mallet to get number code, have key, but can't open the door? help

    ReplyDelete
  60. What do I do with the square thing with 4 holes/cloud shapes I got from the cupboard door please?

    ReplyDelete
  61. @maggie: you stick it to the picture on the wall, then you use the pin-like thingie to scratch on the holes.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I don't know if it would help anyone else but try making four corners out of the dots, like making a big square. Still working on it but it helps me too see the lines more clearly.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Starting this game now, and hopefully I won't get disturbed. Seems like a nice one.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Hmmmm it doesnt stick to the picture should I be using something with it?

    ReplyDelete
  65. maggie1423,
zoom in on the picture first and then it will stay.

    ReplyDelete
  66. @alkmar, sorry for not being here before to reply. I did try to make a series of screenshots to solve the puzzle, but i noticed it actually changes from one game to another, so sorry! No possible spoiler this time... just keep moving those lines!

    ReplyDelete
  67. I'm a bout to cry trying to do this puzzle, just when I think I have a good pattern down I fail and I don't want to give up given the time I've given to try it....AARRRRRGGHHH!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  68. OMG I did it!!!! Almost an hour outta of my life and I did it!!! It caught me by surprise too!!! :):):) *happydance*

    ReplyDelete
  69. hello Deise welcome aboard

    ReplyDelete
  70. Sorry if it's already been answered, but what do I do with the mallet/hammer? I've got the screen with holes on the painting. No pin yet. (Where's that?)

    ReplyDelete
  71. Oh, wait. So the hammer is the pin. Or something. Haha. Got it.

    ReplyDelete
  72. How do I get the rope? Is it that long thing on the floor behind the cabinet with fruit? If so is there a different angle to approach?

    ReplyDelete
  73. I've zoomed in on the picture and moved the hammer/mallet over it trying to break it and it does nothing, what am I doing wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  74. @rose, do you have the holed thing from the cabinet door ON the picture as well?

    ReplyDelete
  75. I didn't know there was a hole thing, lol ....damn let me check it out, thanks edgar :)

    ReplyDelete
  76. rose (rose#2 I guess?)
You have to put the board thing with holes in it on it first and then the hammer/pin thing.

    ReplyDelete
  77. ...I have it now completely missed it, after doing the line puzzle I have never wanted to escape a room so badly lol

    ReplyDelete
  78. Keep on the escape going @rose, congrats for solving the puzzle btw :)

    ReplyDelete
  79. Edgar did you already figure out a way to write a walkthrough for this one, including a solution for the wires thing puzzle?

    ReplyDelete
  80. No @small-tool, I guess you're working on one now, but if I would do it there wouldn't be a way to help on solving it but just saying what it is about... something like dideedi did (LOL! :P) in the comments.

    ReplyDelete
  81. No Edgar, I'm not writing. I'm not good at that as you know, so take it it's all yours.
But isn't it a challenge to figure out how to describe the solution?

    ReplyDelete
  82. Very nice game!
I just want to point out a few things I had gotten stuck on early on...and did finally understand by reading all the comments.

You have to drag things to use them, I was clicking to no avail and almost gave up.

My string puzzle was square shape in order to not cross any lines...no particular pattern inside...when you press one the connected ones light up so it helped me to find them to untangle.

The red rope is behind a bottom right drawer, and you have to click inside it to remove it.

And the knife hanging from the ceiling is a fan...LOL I tried so hard to use it on the pineapple and watermelon!

    Happy puzzling...

    ReplyDelete
  83. Thanks Egar!!! :) for all of your help :)

    ReplyDelete
  84. Third time i open this game with the intention of playing it. Hopefully i'll be able to do it now.

    ReplyDelete
  85. ok what is the 4 digit code for the dresser thingy

    ReplyDelete
  86. You're very welcome @rose!

Third time is always the good one @Ellie.
    Good luck in there :)

    Before you start:
    ○ You need to scroll down the site screen to find 3 blue buttons; press any of them to choose a server.
    ○ Remember always (even if you have played this series before like it happened to me) to DRAG the items in inventory (highlighting them is not enough) in order to use them and/or to make them interact with others inside the game.
    ○ If highlighting an item in inventory, you can see a little magnifier on the bottom left of it. Click on it to have a view of that specific item if you need or want to. I’ll refer to this action as MAGNIFY.

    ● Collect gem #1 from left of door.
    ● Zoom on the table and take the chopsticks and gem #2.
    ● Go right (cupboard view) and get gem #3
    ● Zoom in the cactus and use the chopstick to get the blue key. Take gem #4 as well.
    ● Zoom in the lower leftmost side of the cupboard and get a wooden rod that is between the wall and the cupboard leg. Collect gem #5
    ● Zoom in the middle shelves (above the plant); collect gem #6 and zoom again in the box on the right.
    ● Solve the lines puzzle to open the box. You’ll have to move the circles around (along with the lines that interconnect them with some other circles) in a way that no line overlaps another. This might take a little time and patience to solve, and unfortunately (since this “strings puzzle” changes from game to game) there’s no easy way to describe what to do or to give an exact solution for it. Once the box is open take the cleaver and 3 more gems (#7-9).
    ● Go right.
    ● Zoom in the bottom part of the fruits cupboard; find gem #10 inside the left drawer; open the right one and click on the back of it to take it out and to find a string; also cut the pineapple with the cleaver to get gem #11.
    ● Go up (find the navigational arrow above).
    ● Cut the watermelon for gem #12 and open a drawer to find a drawings clue for code. Remember it (or make notes).
    ● Zoom in the cabinet in the corner and collect gems #13-16 from the bottom drawers. Use the KEY on the top drawer to get some scissors.
    ● Go back to the left.
    ● Magnify the WOODEN ROD and cut it with the CLEAVER in two halves, add the SCISSORS to both halves of the rod and attach them with the RED STRING.
    ● Use your new cutting contraption to get the fan hanging from the ceiling.
    ● Magnify the fan and open it to see the drawings of different animals / bugs. Count them and order the numbers according to the clue from the book to get a 5-DIGITS CODE.
    ● Go left twice.
    ● Collect gem #17 from the floor (right side) and zoom in the cabinet.
    ● Zoom again in the right side of the cabinet to see a number panel; enter the CODE you’ve just got; click [OK] and the cabinet door is open. SPOILER75353SPOILER
    ● From the inside, take the gem #18, the thing with 4 holes (:P) and the mallet.
    ● Zoom in the picture right from the cabinet and put the HOLED THING on it; drag the MALLET on every hole to reveal some numbers, and you’ll finally get a 4-DIGITS CODE. Don’t leave the gem #19 behind!!
    ● Go left 2 times.
    ● Zoom in the bottom drawer in the cupboard and click on the red code panel in the right of it. Enter the CODE you’ve got from the painting and take the gem #20 and the exit key.
    SPOILER7985SPOILER
    ● Go left, use the key to open the door and get your…
    CONGRATULATIONS
    YOU’RE SUCCESS
    THE END

  88. Finally out! I had a hard time finding the string, and I didn't see the code panel for the 5-digit code either. Thanks @Edgar!!

    ReplyDelete
  89. Now, about that controversial and extremely fun and tricky to solve puzzle, the main idea (as it has been explained times before) is to move the circles to finally have no line crossing any other.
I've read some comments giving advise on the easier or better way to solve it... some might work according to the way the puzzle is first presented, or to the personal way of playing/thinking.
Anyway, I will post a couple of snapshots of the solved puzzle (two of many more possible solutions, of course) to try to help anyone to understand, in a way, the nature and objective of this puzzle, only by seeing one solved. I hope they can be somehow useful for this purpose.

  90. Darn string puzzle :( no one has said that I saw, what happens when it's right ? do you click something ? I know when I back out I lose it and have to do it again ..I know none of the lines touching please say what to do after it's right

    ReplyDelete
  91. Clee,
    don't back out.
If you got it, it opens.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Thanks Small-tool I had to move all the little pink dots for it to open , after they weren't touching ....so don't give up and DON'T back out or do lose it all LOL

    ReplyDelete
  93. You're welcome Clee,
And now you mention it, I vaguely remember I also thought I had it right and didn't know why nothing happened til I moved another pink dot.
    So that's a good tip for people later;
It only works after moving all the dots!

    ReplyDelete
  94. Thanks again edgar and everyone that string puzzle was a doozie but after that it was a breeze with the wt. I never would of gotten it without your picture links. Thanks again! =>

    ReplyDelete
  95. @Edgar - thank you for the pictures of the puzzle. They were a huge help - got it in about 5 minutes.

    ReplyDelete
  96. You are both very welcome @JJ and @annaby :)

  98. I got the string puzzle easily enough, but I didn't find the red string until I read the walkthough. Thanks, Edgar. I thought I had tried all the drawers, but I forgot the bottom ones of the fruit shelf.

    Nice game, as always!
