ReplyDeletefirst layer, you look at the doughnuts on the cup, and use the frosting as a guide to what direction to push the circles. just follow the direction of the frosting. does that makes sense?

ReplyDelete@Athena: each letter of the word 'tomato' is assigned a number. The sentence contains underlined words with a roman numerals representing each digit in code. Compare the first letter of each underlined word to the word 'tomato' for each digit required.

ReplyDeleteThe frosting creates a path to follow starting from the pink. If it points down, go down. The frosting acts like arrows pointing in the right direction...

find the words in tomato. all the words are in tomato (tom, mat, a , tomato)
what u have to do is: look where that word is in tomato. and use that number.
in other worde u have to enter the number of the letter where the two words (tom, mat,..) and the word tomato match.
(mat) toMATo. m =3
(tom) is right at the begining. TOMato. and t=1
(a) tomAto. a = 4
(tomato) TOMATO . t=1

Isn't it just the first letter of every word and then looking where that letter (word) is in tomato. Just like you described it yourself Catalyste?

I don't think the clue was very clear, no. Actually the only clue we had was the reference key. As to how to actually solve it, not clear.

Its ok to solve it, but people like me would like to understand the logic behind solving it. :)

Walkthrough: You're dismantling a burger this time!
ReplyDeleteClick burger and open it, notice the 9 doughnut shapes. Zoom out and click on the cup. The clue here is to follow the direction the frosting. Think of the frosting as Arrows point in a direction (NEWS).
Example: If the frosting is located on the bottom of the doughnut, then treat it as an arrow pointing South. If its located at the Right, then treat is as an arrow pointing East.
Following it creates this pathway (starting from the pink going down):
1 6 7
2 5 8
3 4 9
Go back to the burger and follow that order (from 1 to 9) exactly. Unscrew, close, and click on it again to get rid of layer (its like this throughout the game).
Zoom out and click on picture below the cup on the tray. You should see a diagram of the burger. Pay attention to the one saying: 100% Beef.
Go back to the burger, unscrew lettuce layer and open beef layer. Create the image of the Cow by clicking the pieces till you complete image and reveal the screws.
Unscrew, close and click.
Next layer. Open and you see that you have to find a 4 digit code using the reference key provided.
T O M A T O

Now reference the number of the first letter in the words by locating its position on TOMATO (think of the words as cut portions of TOMATO).
MAT TOM A TOMATO
M = 3, T = 1, A = 4, T = 1
These words are not scrambled, so you can see where on TOMATO they come from.
Unscrew, close, click.
Zoom out and click the yellow line on the tray. Note the direction the Chicks are facing. Everytime two chicks face each other, a heart appears.
Go back to the burger and get rid of the extra layers until you come to a puzzle with an egg in it. There are 13 dots you have to fill. Do this by clicking either Left, Right, or Heart in the order shown on the tray.
It should be:
LL, R H L, RRR, H, L, R H L
Unscrew, close, click.
Zoom out and go back to the burger diagram on the tray. Look at the one that says 100% Chicken. Go back to the burger and get rid of extra layers. Open beef layer to see a 4 x 4 letter grid (A - D).
Remember its 100% Chicken. So mark them all Cs.
Zoom out and click on the Fries. It says SAWNBE.
Go to the burger and get rid of the extra layer and open the bomb!
Notice the A and B knobs both have NEWS directions.
The SAWNBE clue basically says to point the A knob between S&W (SAW) and point the B knob between N&E (NBE).
Click the bomb knob and then the green switch.
You're done!

Hi norka! Yeah, usually the game is better with the hints. I just felt the one for the tomato was too vague. But I hope I've managed to explain it.
Great job on WT @catalyste!!!...LOL I have that error message every time I post a WT lately...but it somehow goes through anyway! I still copy it before...just in case! .... The first time, I really FREAKED out!!!!!
