Escape from the Teal Room

Escape from the Teal Room is another point and click room escape game created and submitted by Brendan from Sauce Productions. Brendan says: "This is my first game as I just learned actionscript a day ago. It's a basic escape game, with more emphasis on using visual clues to figure out codes than finding and using items. Nothing in the game is left to chance, there is a clue for everything you need to do. No trial and error is required, but will probably be used anyways." Good luck and have fun!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  34. @Tris, the 7th red has numbers, but without blue light.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Look at red book #24 and Orange book #38 with blue light and red book #7 with normal light !
For door symbol "double c" must be the first and the triangle the 'th missing 2nd and 3rd symbol...

    ReplyDelete
  36. LOL, ellie, we found out around the same time. . .:) My eyes hurt from that blue light. . . >_<

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  39. hmm . .. empty safe, empty closet, empty trash can. . . >_<

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  49. Drisana - take Ellie's hint at 01:22

    ReplyDelete
  50. @Jennifer, find the key under the pillow and use it in the drawer for a pry bar. USe it on the window.

    ReplyDelete
  51. the "E" for door code came from boards on carpet :)

    ReplyDelete
  52. @Drisana, how do you see an E on the carpet? No matter how much I look I can't make that an "E".

    ReplyDelete
  53. there is a symbol on the carpet now

    ReplyDelete
  54. Hi guys just started, please what is the combination for the door

    ReplyDelete
  55. Oh ok, now I see the symbols! Thanks! I didn't understand that you meant the boards from the window @Drisana.

    ReplyDelete
  56. ok where is the closet?

    ReplyDelete
  57. @bet, with the blue light on, you'll find the fourth symbol behind a poster, the first on the clock.
When you open the safe you'll see the third one, and using the key (under pillow) to get a tool to take down boards from the window will give you the second symbol from the carpet.

The closet is the thing that looks like the exit door.

    ReplyDelete
  58. thnak you Ellie got the door open now :)

    ReplyDelete
  59. WALKTHROUGH
To get rid of items from your cursor, click on the arrow in the inventory (I had to click a little bit outside of it).

A door, a panel and nothing to do.
You can look up in the ceiling and down at the carpet.

    Turn right.
Open the big drawer for a note with numbers in two colors.
Move the note for a paper clip.
Something you can’t see behind the right poster.
An empty trash barrel behind the safe.

    Turn right.
    A clock stuck at 1.
    Un uncomfortable pillow.
Click on the bed to the left of the pillow for a key (thanks @Drisana!).

    Turn right.
Plenty of books – two colors.
Click on the two blue books to move them.
Use the paper clip to make a switch where the books were.
    Click again on the switch.
    Blue light turned on!
Use the clue from the paper in the drawer to find numbers in the books (thanks @Danielle!).

When the blue light is on – take a look around the room.
There is a symbol on the clock and you can see the symbols behind the right poster in desk view.
Open the lower drawer in the desk with your key to get a pry bar.
Open the safe with the numbers from the books.
Find a symbol in the safe.
    Solution below.

Use the pry bar on the window.
You can’t leave because of the bars.
Look down on the carpet to see some symbols.

Go to the panel to the right of the door.
Enter the symbols in the right order to open the… empty closet.
Find another symbol on the inside of the door (looks like a U).
Press that symbol on the panel.
Go to the window – bars are gone!
    Click to escape.
    Congratulations!

    SOLUTIONS
    Safe code
The numbers in the note tells the books to look in, and the blue circles tells that the blue light should be on.
24th red book (count from up to down, left to right) with blue light on shows number: 98
8th yellow book with blue light on shows number: 18
7th red book without blue light shows number: 53
    Code: 981853

    Door panel
First symbol: from clock (it’s 1 o’ clock) with blue lights on.
Second symbol: from carpet when the bars from the window are removed (two of the symbols there).
Third symbol: from inside the safe (three circles to the right).
Fourth symbol: from behind the poster (four triangles).
    Solution: ﬡ ∑ ○ ▲

  60. I played this not knowing it was live... it's lots easier when you realize that the TAB key works!

    ReplyDelete
  61. lol @zoz! I always forget to try TAB!!

    ReplyDelete
  62. can someone please help with the symbol code? I keep pressing the wrong combo. I don't seem to understand the walkthrough up to that point. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  63. @JJ, I'm sorry... I see now that the first symbol to press doesn't look good in the WT. I can't change it right now.

    The symbols are:
First, the one that looks like two C's (one backwards first). You'll see it when you look at the clock with blue lights on.
    Second is the "E".
    Third is a single circle.
    Fourth is a triangle.

  65. Oh wow thanks a million Ellie you saved me again. I thought I was going to be stuck in the Teal room forever! Yikes. Pop- Got it now! Thanks again Ellie =D

    ReplyDelete
  66. Brendan: I think your game was really good! It's different than other escape games, and kept me thinking. I'm sorry someone else didn't like it, but I did! I think you have a bright future in game making! Thanks for all your efforts in making this one!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Why is this game rated so low? It is logical and works fine. The only issue I had was with the hidden key because I hate pixel hunts.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I also think this game is great... and I also played it while it was live (lol @zoz)... and I have to say that the live players (girls all) did a fantastic job in it.
No worries @Tiquer, I'm giving it 5 stars now :)

    ReplyDelete
  69. Adobe Flash game, so gone forever.
