with you guys on 79 now. have no idea what to do. Staring at the image. Do we need to manipulate it somehow? Or find how it has been manipulated?
ReplyDeletefor 79, i've been looking at banknote series because of the letter E, but can't relate it to "fix", can't find the answer anyway.
ReplyDeleteI also tried watermark, and EURion (constellation), not working..
looked at the image on tin could not see any changes
ReplyDeleteI found the numbers too. They must mean something. The whole point of Exif is metadata right?
ReplyDeleteNothing working for me neither about e-space or doctor-e . Don't know what else look for.
ReplyDeletethere is a 1920 batter called "Doc" who hit .289 with 32 extra base hits. Probably means nothing, but that is our first set of #s.
ReplyDeletegoing down the route of prefix e, on banknotes but nothing yet
ReplyDeleteThis is tough! It's the last level. We have to get it.
ReplyDeleteChecked out the 20 too. Don't know what fix E could be. :s
ReplyDeleteIs anybody around?
ReplyDeletehi mkganda, I´m here and still lost, can`t match the numbers to anything
ReplyDeleteLOL! In a moment of complete despair on 79 I started changing the E in TEN and googling with Satsumas and saw this
ReplyDelete"hair extensions + fake tan = hairy satsuma"
hahahahaha!
Had myself a little chuckle over that one. XD
Hi chipsi! I'm so stuck. Started thinking that maybe, if the numbers are even relevant, that it might be Episodes 2,8,and 9, Season 32, but I'm completely lost.
ReplyDeleteIn Dr Who you can kill aliens with a satsuma
ReplyDeletegone back to the other amgine and solved the wally one we were stuck on , while i was waiting for you al lto solve this one.lol
ReplyDeleteYou mean the old one that was new to us? 5 phases of riddling or something like that? I quit that one. I like this one better. I never got past the SMEG one and I found it's not the best thing to google. lol
ReplyDeleteThere were 770 individual episodes of Dr Who, but all you can get a list of is serials which makes for a lot of counting. I thought maybe, if we're using the numbers, we would be using episode titles. But, can't google episode 289 and get anything.
ReplyDeleteanswer red dwarf mkganda, i can post the real answers on this one lol
ReplyDelete@bigtank Oh...I thought that was the previous level. Was it the same for both?
ReplyDeleteI have been trying more things. I found that pounds and euros had a fixed exchange rate for some years, but that did not work.
ReplyDeleteI will stop for a while. Good luck!
@bigtank, i was stuck in the Wally level too, well done!
@mkganda, i tried searching episodes, but didn't know that there were that much. This level is very strange. I need a break.
oh gosh getting mixed up know i think it was the series number
ReplyDelete@bigtank you mean series 32 Episodes 2 8 and 9?
ReplyDeleteseason 32 = series 6
ReplyDeletecome on over i give up on this one . cooking on gas there
ReplyDeleteI wish I could, but I've got to go. I have some serious hanging out to do with 2 very bored little boys. Maybe I'll stop in later and try to catch up!
ReplyDeleteUmm...wait! Just got this on nordinho to you and I
ReplyDeleteYes, use P**** or similar to apply the n*****s to get l*****s
Come back bigtank!
ReplyDeleteWhat's that P word???
Our numbers are:
289, 32
227, 32
35, 174
153,239
495, 254
We need to use P word (P****) or similar to apply them to get letters.
Paint?
ReplyDeleteOkay, so I'm using GIMP and if I use 289, 32 as coordinates on the actual image I get B.
Could this be it?
I have 5 letters but don't know if they're right. Wish someone would come back.
ReplyDeleteback now .i will have a look on nord
ReplyDeletenot sure what gimp is mkganda but go for it
ReplyDeleteThanks mkganda.
ReplyDeleteGot it temp end at 80.
Ha! Take THAT! I've been ditched, but I made it out alive!
ReplyDeleteTemp end at 80.
79
Use an image program that gives you a ruler on top and side and use the numbers as coordinates to get letters.
289, 32 = length, height
Once you have your letters, consider the episode that featured our bank note and go find the answer.
lalalalala! So happy. Now back to life. My kids are OVER this riddle lol.
hi s-t gonna join me back on the other amgine.
ReplyDeleteOh, didn't see you two there. :D Happy to be done.
ReplyDeleteTomorrow I have much escaping to do!
And we had those numbers for 5 hours already.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, great teamwork guys.
bigtank, I will, but your hint there wasn't enough; should I count kings starting with Charles I.
wow, I'm impressed!!!
ReplyDeleteI never would have found that!
I don't have such a program though, could someone give me a hint on the answer, so I can continue when new levels are coming?
Truus,
ReplyDeleteIf you have windows you should have MsPaint and that works fine.
To find the numbers I used the EXIF reader from Purple Hell (great site for riddle tools).
geweldig, ik leer hier steeds meer :))
ReplyDeletedank je wel small!!
finally.....!
ReplyDeletethought the 5 letter word should work, but that was just a hint....lol
Congrats Truus,
ReplyDeleteGreat Job.
Now if you're into it you can join us at AmginE - 5 Phases of Riddling (200 levels and we're at 48-50).
Or play Last Enigma (the best riddle I ever played).
Or just have a nice evening and enjoy your escape.
Thanks small, I think I need a break now and enjoy my escape.
ReplyDeletebtw I'm also playing the other riddle, but am stuck on 29 there....
Bye for now, see you!
Only saw yesterday that there are new riddles here.
ReplyDeleteWith the help of your comments now starting on 70
I have found the italian food in 69 thanks to your hints. Normaly this riddle was quite logical. But I do not understand how one could find "mouse" which gave the most important clue here. Could someone enlighten me???
OK forget about previous - found the mouse too.
ReplyDeleteLevel 70 was about recognising what object was shown and with the correct answer you got another object etc. And the last was a mouse (from a PC).
ReplyDeleteAnd 80 temp end.
ReplyDeleteOh, so it was exif. Aaaargh. I searched with photoshop and didn't see those numbers. And there was a comment of small-tool including them. I thought your numbers were about dimension of image and so. Aaaargh!!
Well, at least i have learnt that i have to read comments more carefully, and that online there are good exif viewers.
Anyway having the numbers it was not easy, but nice level in the end. Thanks for help mkganda.
Completely stuck on the maps (level 77) -found 7 n.....s translated but no anagram???
ReplyDeleteHave sent pm to small tool with what I have. Hope he is still on the pc.
Or is someone still here who can help?

ReplyDeleteAmazone,
ReplyDeleteYou have the right numbers, but the anagram is a name. Look for that on the wiki site.
Thanks small-tool. This game is really brilliant the answer is always logical.
ReplyDeletemkganda brilliant find about the auspice. I had also come up with that answer but didn't know what it meant. It would really have been a better solution (more logical). Maybe the author will change the riddle?
Temp end now
all ready stuck on the first one lol
ReplyDeletemay be lvl 80 has sth. to do with hex code
ReplyDeleteon lvl 81
ReplyDeletefor 80: both are used for search option

ReplyDeleteThanks had already tried asterisk.
ReplyDeleteOn 81 now, but have to go soon.

ReplyDeleteOn 82 now.
And the same goes for 82. On 83 now.
ReplyDeletestuck on 84.

ReplyDeleteFor 2, I don´t know, I searched the image on tineye, that´s why I think it is D....
ReplyDeleteI tried to convert season numbers to letters and anagram, didn`t work.
Hi guys,
ReplyDeleteI need some help on level 84.
I thought it would be billionaire(s). But no.
small-tool you are looking for a tv serie on 84
ReplyDeleteThanks, got it.
ReplyDeleteI´m not sure on picture 6, is it H.......d or W.... H.... or is there another serie with horses
ReplyDeleteOn 86 I only found picture 1 and 2. How did you find the other ones? TinEye doesn't work there for me.
ReplyDeletethought it was H*******d too not sure though,
ReplyDeletetotally stuck...
have to go now...
ReplyDeletesmall, I just googled my behind off. lol
and to be honnest, I only found the first and the fifth picture, on the third I just assumed it was M****M
hope you guys solve this one!
I'm on 87. Bruteforced 86. Picture 5 and 6 had to be vowels.
ReplyDeleteWell, for 87 we surely need a native English speaker. We're looking for strange names for normal things.
ReplyDeleteBigtank are you there?
yes still here looking at horses. not got 86 yet
ReplyDeleteThe first picture is probably an aglet.
ReplyDeleteok with you on 87
ReplyDelete86 is
ReplyDeleteLost
Dexter
Medium
Fringe
The other two I don't know but are vowels.
87 has clues in the picture names for 2 and 4. There are 2 possibilities for 4
ReplyDeleteon 87,too.
ReplyDeletepicture 5 on 86 was The Amazing Race
for2 i have gone with the scottish word
ReplyDeletedictionary hint in source
ReplyDeleteare we looking for words that are only in the dictionary
ReplyDeleteI know chipsi, that's why I said difficult words for normal things. And I think it's impossible for me to solve.
ReplyDeleteok just going through the dictionary and typing in the clue words got to d
ReplyDeleteThe last one is probably an agraffe.
ReplyDeleteIf you have to go past G you missed one.
ReplyDeleteThe fourth one is probably galeophobia
ReplyDeleteThe second is probably exennium.
ReplyDeleteOk on 88 now.
ReplyDeleteBtw. welcome here Joe.
lol was just going to post those
ReplyDelete3rd one ? or did u brute force again
ReplyDeleteYep bigtank, I think it was a D.
ReplyDeleteThanks small-tool. I've been following the trail of bread crumbs you've all left behind.
ReplyDelete88 with u too
ReplyDeleteHi all
ReplyDeleteThe definition for the 3rd one is
A woman who trains animal
Oh and on 89 now. 88 is easy. All kind of laws.
ReplyDeleteYep that's us Joe; a lot of Hansels and Grethels here :)
ReplyDeleteMy anagram on 89 doesn't work!?
ReplyDeleteNvm. made a mistake. On level 90 now.
ReplyDeleteOn 90 I don't think we have to find all the pictures.
ReplyDeleteAll the pictures have names and I think we have to find words that go in front of the those names.
still towing on 89.tried the name, then the catagory then the number on the list nada
ReplyDeletebigtank,
ReplyDeletehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_paradoxes
They are all there. You need the first letters of the paradoxes and then anagram.
Like the first is Schrödinger.
On 90. Could pic 8 be Idiot Savant?
ReplyDeletes-t I think that's correct. If you google "oxymoron list" you'll find some useful pages. Some have a few possibilities and I'm having trouble making anything out of them.
ReplyDeleteok must have made a mistake with the anagram solver
ReplyDeleteok on 90, why do all the pictures have different names in the sourse
ReplyDeleteFor 90 use these
ReplyDeletecontrolled_chaos
dark_light
true_fiction
I think the pictures are just for fun.
ReplyDeleteSo far (I think) I have;
4) science fiction
6) apart together
7) dark light
8) idiot savant
10) controlled chaos.
The pictures just tell you the kind of thing you're looking for. The clues are in the names (you need to complete them).
ReplyDelete@s-t, don't use science_fiction it is true_fiction
ReplyDeleteCan't find Landing and Sticker?
ReplyDeletecrash_landing
ReplyDeleteremovable_sticker
OK. got it. Unfortunately I have to head out. For the ones with multiple possibilities, 1 and 10 are 5 letter words, and 3 and 7 are 4 letter words. I had 6 as "alone together" but it works out the same.
ReplyDeleteThanks, on 91 now.
ReplyDeleteI think that 91 is about b**** nicknames
ReplyDeletei got crash and removable, but brian said not to use the science fiction ?
ReplyDeleteOn 91, there's more information in the source. Scroll down.
ReplyDeleteNo @bigtank i had science_fiction too, but the anagram didn't work. Use true_fiction
ReplyDeleteHmm, tried to make a magic square with numbers to namnes for bingo numbers and then back again to numbers using first letters, but it doesn't work.
ReplyDeleteAnd what's with the numbers in the source?
Nvm. on 92 now.
ReplyDeleteThe source numbers are coördinates.
not sure the pictue for 44 is appropriate on the site i am on lol.the are certainly not droopy drawers lol
ReplyDeletedo you have a good site for coordinates always struggle with those
ReplyDeletebigtank,
ReplyDeleteGoogle maps, just fill in the search bar.
Having problems on 92.
My letters are A, N, K, N.
ok i get f... c......s which fits in with the bingo , but not working
ReplyDeletebigtank,
ReplyDeleteJust use the f... c......s of the grid.
Make the numbers letters with this site;
http://www.apennyearned.co.uk/bingo-terms.html
ok 92 i seem to have the but i could not find the third one
ReplyDeleteWow! More levels? Hope I can catch up before you finish!
ReplyDeleteStill can't find anything on 92.
ReplyDeleteEven with the name of the place (instead of the name of the road) for the third. And even not with using the Irish name for the fourth.
Welcome back mkganda.
hi mkganda. no have tried street names mixed with areas etc. gonna take a break . let mk catch up. and where have you been on the other amgine . mkganda
ReplyDeleteFor 92: I have found 3 palindromic places, but anagram is not working yet.
ReplyDeleteStarted too late again and hopping behind as always.Stuck on 88. Can't find the 5th law - tried anagram with all letters but no go.
ReplyDeleteThanks brian, on 93 now.
ReplyDeleteYou almost gave the answer there.
@Amazone
ReplyDeleteFor 88: Search it here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_eponymous_laws
@s-t, :) teamwork !!
ReplyDeleteAmazone,
ReplyDeleteUse this;
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_eponymous_laws
Btw, the names on 92 were
Gleneg
Tumut
Kanakank
Navan
So, on 93 do we have to find all the pleonasms?
ReplyDeleteYep, i have six now, but not sure if all of them are correct.
ReplyDeleteOnly 5 (my knowledge of English is not good enough for this).
ReplyDeleteAnd then, do we use both words? Seems like only the first words. With the second words I have no vowels.
Are these pleonasms;
ReplyDelete- Ten in number
- Two twins
- Security Guard.
With those I have 9 now!?
ok back now still on 92. had a couple of those names written down, well done. now what do i need to do
ReplyDeleteI think security guard is one.
ReplyDeleteAbout the other two i was going to ask you the same.
I'm on 92 now and I have no idea what to do. Can someone give me a clue?
ReplyDeleteDon't know if I have to delete this but these are the ones I found. Probably a lot of them wrong.
ReplyDelete- Armed gunmen
- Ten in number?
- Cash money
- Full to capacity?
- Aided and abetted?
- Anonymous stranger
- Collaborated together
- Security guard?
- Sum total
For 92 look at my post and Brians post on 11:16 and 11:24 AM.
@bigtank and @joe
ReplyDeleteFind places with the coordinates in the source.
Those placeS have something in common.
look at s-t comment 2/9/11 11:24 AM
and after look this one 2/9/11 11:16 AM the answer is almost there
What about ultimate goal?
ReplyDeleteAnd hurry up guys. We need native English speakers on 93.
ReplyDeleteBrian, just like me, you aren't either, are you?
Thanks Brian. I didn't scroll down in the source and was totally lost. On 93 now.
ReplyDeletestill stuck on 92 .tried all form of pal........c p.....s nothing doing
ReplyDeleteNo, not english native speaker !!!
ReplyDeleteI think i have demonstrated it in my posts, hehe.
bigtank,
ReplyDeleteNo place, just the term (and plural).
I have to stop for a few minutes. And come back quickly.
ReplyDeleteaha got it ha that one before lol
ReplyDeletes-t I would add
ReplyDeletetwo twins
ultimate goal
The one before 'laughing out loud'!?
ReplyDeleteThat has to be 'giggling' or something like that.
and
ReplyDeletelifted up
Yep Joe, could be. But I still have serious doubts about a lot of them.
ReplyDelete- Two (different kind of) twins is possible.
- You can have goals that aren't ultimate.
- Ten in number is not really a pleonasm (just telling how much)
- Full to capacity (don't know, lack of English knowledge).
In fact, the only ones I'm sure about are;
- Anonymous stranger and
- Sum total.
The ones I'm sure about are:
But then again, what are the real definitions for a pleonasm?
ReplyDeleteHere (Belgium) we say green grass and white snow are pleonasms but I've seen brown/yellow grass and yellow snow (don't eat it).
s-t I'm sure all the ones you had are right. Ten is a number, so you don't have to say "in number". Full to capacity just means full. If you have twins, that implies two, so the two is redundant. And you don't lift down, only up, so the up is redundant. Ultimate goals you can find on http://www.pleonasms.com/
ReplyDeleteI would also add
with the use of
"with" by itself means the same thing.
a pair of twins is one. but you are right you can have two twins,
ReplyDeletei hope this is not like level 40 . we spent all that time looking for the palindrome and it was level
ReplyDeleteThe sentence is 'two twins and their younger brother' so they are 3 brothers, the twins + young brother. So the two is redundant.
ReplyDeleteGoing in cirlces now and having my doubts about all of them.
ReplyDeleteLike; although armed gunmen is in the list on the site Joe posted, I still wonder if a gunman without a gun (or whatever weapon) is still called a gunman.
Anyway the ones that are really, really, really correct are;
ReplyDelete- anonymous stranger
- collaborated together
- lifted up
Solved. It is a pleonasm too.
ReplyDeletea***** f****
Well done Brian!
ReplyDeleteGreat find Brian.
ReplyDeleteOne 94 too now.
ok 94 looks like a combination of all the last levels
ReplyDeleteOn 94, the second one is a palindrome and the sixth is a paradox, but what are the others?
ReplyDelete1 is the last level
ReplyDelete3 is an a.....m
4i....
what is with the numbers at the side of the clues
2,4,2,4,6
the third is an anagram of William Shakespeare
ReplyDeletethe numbers can mean counting letters in for example palindrome
ReplyDeleteThanks Brian, on 95 now.
ReplyDeleteThe first one is a pleonasm again. The fourth I don't know, but it isn't an anagram so you can guess it.
This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeletefinally got around to playing some new levels and am stuck on 86. Anyone here still?
ReplyDeleteI have the first four, but what's the Finland one and the horse?
ReplyDeletewas i right with idiom, that gives me 2 oo at the end of my word
ReplyDeletenvm got it onto 95
ReplyDelete@bigtank the 4th is g
ReplyDelete@mkganda the is a comment saying that the two last images must start by vowels. Use the two first.
mkganda,
ReplyDeleteThe whole gang is here.
Anyway, for 86 look at my post on 2/9/11 7:30 AM
and the post of Chipsi on 2/9/11 7:41 AM. And guess the last letter.
Yay! Hi guys! Thanks!
ReplyDeletegot it. :)
ReplyDeleteok scanning purple hell, do you know the code s-t.
ReplyDeletemkganda You can go back a level or two for the Finland one. I don't remember what the other was, but I think it starts with an e
ReplyDeletebigtank idiom is incorrect. it's a****
ok 5 more minutes and i am done will leave it to you all to finish
ReplyDeleteKept refreshing, didn't notice we're on a new page (but I did comment 2000, Yeah, do I get bonus points?).
ReplyDeleteAnd sadly No, no idea what the code on 95 is about. Didn't find anything on Purple Hell and didn't find anything on the Amgine Code page.
i could not find anything either, i got comment 666 on the other one lol
