  1. @Truus First things I do on each level is right click the image and open it in a new tab to see if it has a telling title and right click view page source and look for any green lettering. On 6 we saw a 4 digit source code hint and with that and google were able to deduce c****

    ReplyDelete
  2. Truus,
There was more information on level 6. In the source (de bron) there was GxF4 and the previous level(s) were about board games and about punctuation. So those were the hints.
But then again, you started with a very hard, not very logical riddle game to play riddle games for the first time.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Thank you @mkganda, gonna try .....

    ReplyDelete
  4. Okay, so this is what I've done. I went to PH and decoded all the numbers then got rid of all the spaces so I had just a string of dots and dashes. Then I counted 36 (was a dot), 9 (a dot), 12 (a dash), and so on.
    I have ..-.-.-.
So far the only real word I've gotten is urn and it's not right lol.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Maybe not deleting all the spaces and then count again (with counting spaces)?

    ReplyDelete
  6. hmm...going to try that

It bugs me that at nord I found the "no decoding necessary", but also "I was in the right place but counting the wrong way" hints. What could that mean?

    ReplyDelete
  7. Unless I'm counting wrong, that way I get a "space" for 36

    ReplyDelete
  8. How do you do 36 in morse? Just 3 and 6 or something in between?

    ReplyDelete
  9. On purple hell I used the translator and the numbers came out 3 6 / 9 / 1 2 / etc... so yeah, just a space then a slash separating them. I've tried counting all ways to no avail so far. I wonder if we're on the wrong track here.

    http://www.purplehell.com/riddletools/morse.htm

    ReplyDelete
  10. Thanks @small-tool and also thanks for making me feel a little less stupid! :)
I managed to open the source and spotted the gxf4, but only because you told me it was there, lol. But green lettering?? I didn't see that though. Will try some more on the previous levels, see if they make any sense to me now...

    ReplyDelete
  11. Lol, I know about purple hell (and about Dante's hell, where I am right now) and yep serious doubts about being on the right track; With the morse the way we try to decode it there are way too much possibillities. Like with the ..-.-.-. you found. You can break it up in so many ways and the same with the coordinates.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Truus, I think the letters are not always green. Maybe depends on how many sites you have open or your browser or pc settings or something like that. Anyway Riddle makers often put information in the source and sometimes it's real hard to find.
Reminds me of Last Enigma where on a certain level the answer was just there but not in a special color but just somewhere between all the other normal source information.

By the way mkganda, you really should try to finish Last Enigma. It is the best riddle game I ever played.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Got something! This is the hint I got on nord just now, "just apply those numbers to the h*** page right at the start"

DOH!!! head desker!! Going to do that now!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Congrats mkganda.
Hint please. I tried counting letters and using them but it doesn't work.

    ReplyDelete
  15. @small I wanted to go back to it but I couldn't remember the pw and refused to go through whammy again lol.

On 7, We've seen the title to the egg page before. There are 8 #s and 8 notes on this previous page. hmm... :P

    ReplyDelete
  16. Hi all I'm back and on lvl 8. I've inputed the numbers at the h** page and nada; Help?

    ReplyDelete
  17. small tool, don't include any spaces or punctuation. 8 lines/8 numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  18. 8 lines??? ...---... = 9 :O

On the homepage are 8 numbers and notes but not on 7. Really don't know what to with 36 and 9 etc. with those 8 notes.

    ReplyDelete
  21. forget about the m**** c***. That just got you to the egg page with the word h***.

  26. @small Let me know when you've got it and I'll delete that comment.

    ReplyDelete
  27. s-t go to the rules page and count the letters. No punctuation or spaces included.

    ReplyDelete
  28. @nini I know, but it's hard when everybody's had an "aha" moment but you. So I'll leave it til small has it then move on. After all, I'd never have passed the previous levels without you all. :D

    ReplyDelete
  29. yep ur right mkganda. Gogo s-t. :)

Oh and any ideas for lvl 8? Probably some reference to rules page again?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Oh dang got to leave for a while. Lunch time!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I've got an egg for 8. I don't know if I've missed a stage though.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Well considering the color of the previous ? being orange and then the answer, I was thinking this one being green...

    ReplyDelete
  33. hmm...haven't got an egg yet.

    @small-tool did you get it?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Finally got it. Made a lot of mistakes with counting. Thanks all.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Got the egg! google imaged green ?

    ReplyDelete
  36. woohoo, I made it through level 6, only used the hint for the wiki-link, got the rest myself!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. mkganda, do you have the page with the different pictures?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Yay! Going back to delete some comments lol

    ReplyDelete
  39. Have to leave for a while. Good luck everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Suddenly you're all going so fast.
How do you get the egg on level 8?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Hi all! Didn't get any eggs. What did u do to get it?

    ReplyDelete
  42. @Cricketer Yep! Thought it might be b***** ch********, but only one seems to be so that's not it.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Hm.. Pharao, Lobster, Penguin, Queen?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Good morning. Joining for a short while. Just solved level 6 with the help of the comments and starting on 7.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I got it with google image search for a green ?. Think comic book :P

funny how the images are labeled on the egg page. 8, 8b, 8f, hmm...

@Truus Well done!!! That one was HARD for me until I understood the wiki. :D

    ReplyDelete
  47. What is q****** ma** ?
I googled green and answer to the previous level and got a fish!?

    ReplyDelete
  48. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Thanks Nini xD.
I was looking on other sites with the green latern (also a comic character).
Anyway finaly I have the egg.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Oh dang! Got to leave again! Back on an hour maybe. :(

    ReplyDelete
  51. @small-tool LOL! No fish needed! I used google image, but Nini's way will give it to you right away!

So, I'm wondering if we need to take letters from these images and put them in order?
They are labeled in this order:

    8 8b 8f 8a
    8c 8d 8e

What the heck is that first on though??? Wondering if it means anything at all.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I think the first one is an egghead.
So are we now looking for enemies of batman.
The only one I can think of (related to the pictures) is the Penguin.

    ReplyDelete
  53. That was my first thought, but had the same problem. Only one seems to fit the bill. Tried to id the one one on the top right using tineye, but nada.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I'm at level 8 now. Looking at pics that remind me to another comic book characters.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Ah great Edgar is back.
All the pictures together reminds you of another comic character!? Which one?

    ReplyDelete
  56. Looking up villains. There was one called red claw. Lobster? lol...idk

    ReplyDelete
  57. Yep, the red claw was an enemy of batman too.

    ReplyDelete
  58. egghead
    ?
    king tut
    anarchy
    ?
    penguin
queen of diamonds or Harley Quinn

    still filling the blanks here.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Blue Bowman maybe for the second one.

    ReplyDelete
  60. finding this very helpful
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Batman_Family_enemies

    ReplyDelete
  61. Okay, gotta go for a while. Good luck and leave lots of hints! :D

    ReplyDelete
  62. No, don't think so. King Tut is King Tut, copperhead is another one.
Anarky, Egghead, Pinguin, King Tut and Red Claw are right for sure.
And Harley Quinn should be right too, but the second one?

    ReplyDelete
  63. Well, just found out there is an archenemy of batman just called The Archer.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Harley Quinn is also called Marsha, but still no go.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Hi all I'm back for a short time. Gotta leave soon (preparing my bday xD)

    ReplyDelete
  66. I'm back now to struggle for another while.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Dang gotta leave again! T-T
That's what happens when ur bday is 2 days from now. :PPP

    ReplyDelete
  68. There's an episode called the Queen of Diamonds. Maybe it's episode numbers that we're looking for?

    ReplyDelete
  69. Wow Cricketer9999a,
That's not making it easier if we have to go looking for episode numbers and besides that; I'm sure there will be a lot of episodes with the Penguin. But then again, maybe the first episode where he appeared.

Anyway, already congrats with your birthday Nini xD, because I will probably forget to do it on wednesday.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Happy birthday, Nini!!! :D

Do we have all the characters now?

    ReplyDelete
  71. Green Arrow for the 2nd one?
"Dressed like Robin Hood, Green Arrow is an archer who invents trick arrows with various special functions..."

    ReplyDelete
  72. @Mkganda

just emailed you for the answer to level 5 - monopoly. hope you don't mind :)

    ReplyDelete
  73. Hii!! I'm back and now I'm staying. :) Thx mkganda ^^

    ReplyDelete
  74. @EnJoy No problem! Glad you're here!

    @Nini Yay! Hi!

    ReplyDelete
  75. So we have:

    Egghead-Green Arrow-King Tut-Anarky

    Red Claw-Penguin-Harley Quinn
    or
    Lobster Johnson

    Do we agree on those?

    ReplyDelete
  76. @mkganda.. just got your email. I don't know how you ever figured that one out.

What level are you all on now?

    ReplyDelete
  77. @EnJoy It was @Nini! She figured it out and then I came back and saw everyone else got it from her hints. Then @small-tool literally had to hold my hand through the entire process. So I can safely say that I never did figured it out past going 3 spaces back. LOL!
    On 8 now.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Oh ty mkganda but I didn't do that alone. Needed lots of help from ppl in Nord.

And yes agreed on char names.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I say we go with Marsha Queen of Diamonds instead of Harley Quinn.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Hey, hey, hey. Back from work and ready for another session and see you've all moved on :o)

I saw the hints you all left for 6 and got it pretty easy, thanks all.

    Just starting on 7 now...

    ReplyDelete
  81. I don't find any anagram from their inicials. :(

    ReplyDelete
  82. I just finished the chess level and am starting on 7! I am not able to figure these out on my own.. just following along :)

    ReplyDelete
  83. Wait...What if this is referring to the tv series, because there was an "Archer" on that one.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I've just found out, bottom left isn't a lobster it's an Australian Red Claw Crayfish.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Gratz mkganda trying that rght now!

    ReplyDelete
  88. I don't get any word from their 1st letters

    ReplyDelete
  89. Help on level 7.. morse code.

Can't even get the egg that you guys mention in the hints. can you push me very hard in the right direction?

How come when we post a comment, it takes us back to the first page of comments?? annoying!

    ReplyDelete
  90. Hmm...anybody on 9 with me yet?

    ReplyDelete
  91. Oh, I thought the bloke in red was called red claw. So the bloke in red is anarchy. Then we get red claw from the crayfish.

    ReplyDelete
  92. EnJoy when u SOS u ask for what? h**p!

    ReplyDelete
  93. No mkganda help! I still don't get it. eakarpm does nothing for me.

    ReplyDelete
  94. @EnJoy Yes, ask for h**p!

    @Nini EAKARPMR

There's supposed to be a second R, but it's not there that I can see.

    m* p****r

    You'll find her here
    http://www.bat-mania.co.uk/main/villains/index.php

    ReplyDelete
  95. Extra r from the name in the url.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Where the R comes from? lol

    ReplyDelete
  97. @Nini I don't know lol! R from Red Claw, but the second one is a mistery. NO! Wait! As I was typing I realized what @Cricketer meant! We forgot a villain. The 1st one! r****er!

    ReplyDelete
  98. missing color on lvl 9 = indigo

    ReplyDelete
  99. lol true mkganda! ahah! Well, at least we are at lvl 9, no more batman for me.

    ReplyDelete
  100. the colors are in order from the first ? (level 3 - level 8)

    ReplyDelete
  101. I only know that the missing rainbow color is indigo but it doesn't work.

    ReplyDelete
  102. tried 9and10, nineandten, indigo, 910, levelsnineand10, levels9and10, lol...clearly not getting anywhere

    ReplyDelete
  103. it's not rainbow or unfinishedrainbow or unknown

    ReplyDelete
  104. Hi guys. I'm back. Thanks for level 8. Great find for that extra R.
On level 9 it seems like the color order is from the balls from pool.

    ReplyDelete
  105. from nordinho

    "u need next 2 in sequence, m.....and......."

    ReplyDelete
  106. Hi small! Happy you're back! Pool, eh?

    ReplyDelete
  107. Thanks small tool. I would never have got that.

    ReplyDelete
  108. So we have the first six. next is brown and black right?

    ReplyDelete
  109. mkganda not brown... there's another name.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Wait a minute, what happened. I just shared a thought and now you're suddenly all on level 10. What happened? The next color(s) doesn't work for me?

    ReplyDelete
  111. mkganda, order here:

    http://www.pool-and-pocket-billiards-resource.com/billiards_balls.html

    ReplyDelete
  112. POP! Got it! On 10 now :)

    ReplyDelete
  113. s-t next colors : ma*** and bl***

    ReplyDelete
  114. @small-tool I don't like that they used this color but it's not brown it's m**oo*

    ReplyDelete
  115. I got it now, but thanks anyway Nini xD.
This is like the equivalent of a pixely escape game, I didn't use 'and'.
    On 10 now.

    ReplyDelete
  116. once you have eliminated...
I took those letters out of the alphabet, not getting anywhere yet

    ReplyDelete
  117. Got the missing letters on lvl 10 but not sure if that 'll help

    ReplyDelete
  118. LOL! How's that for help, small? I'm sure you've got it now.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Me too Nini. Used the ROT cypher to no avail. We have 12 letters.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Thought they might mean more as #s, but that's not getting me anywhere either.

I do think the title hints towards NOT using the given letters though, right?

    ReplyDelete
  121. The 12 letters are the letters banned from the periodic table!!!

    ReplyDelete
  122. google the letters mkganda, the first hit looks relevant to this.

    ReplyDelete
  123. I just found that too!!!! Woohoo!

    ReplyDelete
  124. Okay so it's not periodic table or periodic table of elements...

    ReplyDelete
  125. Yep on 11. Thanks Cricketer9999a.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Any ideas for 11? We have Bob the Builder, a kangaroo, a crown, and..??

    ReplyDelete
  127. Now I'm still stuck on 10, lol! I can see what they are, but how to word it?

    ReplyDelete
  128. Wait...don't know what to enter

    ReplyDelete
  129. Puff pant, puff, pant.

Caught up to level 10 with help of you guys :o)

Jut hold on a wee while ;o)

    ReplyDelete
  130. The second picture could also be a wallabi.

    ReplyDelete
  131. mkganda look at ur previous post. the word is laying there...

    ReplyDelete
  132. Thank goodness it's not just me Cricketer! What do we enter?!

    ReplyDelete
  133. mkganda,
you already gave the answer in your previous post.

    ReplyDelete
  134. mkganda, pop! What are they? e*******.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Got it! Thanks Nini!

    10 e*******

    ReplyDelete
  136. Lol Nini xD, we're good at giving hints aren't we?

    ReplyDelete
  137. 11 looks related to old money terminology. Tanner, bob, crown. Skippy???

    ReplyDelete
  138. wow Cricketter! Ur fast at finding stuff aren't u?

    ReplyDelete
  139. half crown is 2 schillings

    ReplyDelete
  140. Back home and solving level 8 now.
Congrats @mkganda!! If there's something harder than solving something hard, it's to solve something defective from an author's mistake. One letter missing on level 8... pfffft!!

    ReplyDelete
  141. oooor half crown is 2 bobs

    ReplyDelete
  142. aaaa hate to deal w/ money! specially old british money.

    ReplyDelete
  143. @Edgar Hi! Thanks, but it wasn't a mistake after all. We forgot that in the egg url was the other villain with our other r. :)
It was nice to get one though.

    ReplyDelete
  144. Yay, onto 11. Hopefully I cn return the help soon :o)

    ReplyDelete
  145. Right. The first one was to be included. Well, it wouldn't be the first time I see one wrong or incomplete level. Going on...

    ReplyDelete
  146. Well, I don't think it would be too tough if I knew what currency the kangaroo/wallabe represented. WTH?

    ReplyDelete
  147. @mk, a half crown was 2 shillings and sixpence!!

    ReplyDelete
  148. @Rambler Oh, you're right! or 2 bobs and sixpence, right?

Are we to see what's missing to make the top and bottom equivalent?

    ReplyDelete
  149. OMG... sry guys but this one u'll have to find w/out me.

    ReplyDelete
  150. It's JOEY! Slang for threepence!

Okay gotta' go for a bit! bb in a few!

    ReplyDelete
  151. So, we have (in old pence):

    Bob = 12
    Joey = 3
    Half a crown = 30
    Tanner = 6

    We can work with this...

    ReplyDelete
  152. There are 4 or 5 tanners in the pic.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Hmm, if that's the case, then we can call it 24 or 30!

    ReplyDelete
  154. all the slang on here. tried adding it up http://www.learnenglish.de/slang/moneyslang.htm

    ReplyDelete
  155. I'm not too familiar with this currency. Is the total 4 shillings and 1 threepence? 51 pennies?

    ReplyDelete
  156. @Edgar, yes. If we take it that there's only 1 tanner, then it all adds up to 4 shillings and threepence, or 51 old pence as you say..

    ReplyDelete
  157. Maybe we're looking for another slang?

    ReplyDelete
  158. Maybe we shouldn't add it up but try to see it as a sequence. With something missing in, or something comming after or before, those amounts.

    ReplyDelete
  159. A florin (18 pence) would be missing, but that's not working.

    ReplyDelete
  160. @s-t, a florin was another name for a two shilling piece (2 bob).

    ReplyDelete
  161. From wiki:
50p coins as "Silver" and 1p coins may be referred to as "Copper", due to their colour and apparent base metal type...
and considering the last answer, this might be the right track, but haven't had any luck yet :(

    ReplyDelete
  162. @Edgar, from my mum :o)
The copper coins were - a farthing, a ha'penny, and a penny. The thre'penny bit was brass and all the rest were silver,

    ReplyDelete
  163. Okay, back. What are we working on?

    ReplyDelete
  164. are we looking at the tanners as 5 tanners or as one?

    ReplyDelete
  165. is it something to do with the metals. googled them together, just got a magic trick

    ReplyDelete
  166. @mk, it's open to conjecture at the moment.

We all seem to be exploring different ideas within the same theme at the moment..

    ReplyDelete
  167. Tried to find what the coins are made of, but that's hard. Half a crown was first made of gold, later silver and then copper/nickel alloy.
    So ???

    ReplyDelete
  168. Oooohhh bigtank, please share, I love magic tricks :o)

    ReplyDelete
  169. Hi all I'm back! Checked nordinho and gordon posted:

I know what the images represent and what is missing but it doesn't work for the answer. I've tried what I have with the url but that is wrong also. What am I missing please.

Oops, never mind. I forgot to alter the number in the url.

    ReplyDelete
  170. lol rambler just googled brass silver copper.

    ReplyDelete
  171. So something is missing. An old coin, a metal or what?

    ReplyDelete
  172. By the way, it's up to you two now Rambler and Bigtank, it's your country and your history. So come on.

    ReplyDelete
