Thanks @small-tool! On 16 now :)
ReplyDeletehmm...a j***** p*****?
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed a rebus, but also a jigsaw. In paint I can't rotate pieces so what can I do? I'm seeing some stuff, but this will take me a long time if I have to do so much guessing. Are there free programs where this would be easier?
ReplyDeleteHelp for 13 anyone?
ReplyDelete@Edgar
ReplyDeleteCount letters From B=0 it's a fruit.
Sorry faltu, I meant 14. Still not completely awake I guess...
ReplyDelete@mkganda, I just printed it and have lots of pieces lying around now. Idk what to get from it yet.
ReplyDeleteGood morning @Edgar! For 13, find the numbers of the 5 vitamins, then count letters in the alphabet, but don't start on A, but on B.
just connect the words. what you see? P****l***
ReplyDelete@Edgar For 14 start with the obvious word and notice how it's written, in a l***. Then put the two together for a new word. p********
ReplyDeletehahahahaha! Good one! ;P
Sorry @Edgar, 14 then... use the word you see there, but it needs to be combined with the way the letters are placed. In a row, but not using that word. There are some quite clear help in previous comments too.
ReplyDeleteI got it. NVM now.
ReplyDeleteThanks for help anyway. That would have make more sense @mk...
ReplyDeleteOkay, gotta' go for a while. Have my pieces cut out and ready to go. Good luck and leave me hints! :D
ReplyDeleteLol, big parts of my puzzle are not making sense yet. The only word I got this far is "open". I don't even know what all the things in the pics are called. This will definitely take a while.
ReplyDeleteAt least I got the pieces together in a 4x5 grid. Now, does anyone know the name of the "machine" with a tap?
ReplyDeleteGood Morning.. just got kids off to school .. on level 12 since last night. Need to catch up.
ReplyDeleteReading previous comments
Good morning @EnJoy! Good luck catching up! I'll need to leave for a while and will go on staring at the rebus in lvl 16 later on.
ReplyDeleteHelp on 13 (vitamins)
ReplyDeleteI got the numbers of the vitamins B10, B3 etc..
saw in comments that you have to convert the numbers to letters. starting with B. So would B=1 C=2??
if so I get KDLNM which of course doesn't make a word. Help!
B=0 and C=1
ReplyDeleteThank you small-tool.. why couldn't I figure that out??
ReplyDelete(don't answer that) :)
Hi all! Back and working on our treasure map.
ReplyDeleteHi Mkganda.. I am all caught up. It cracks me up that the only way I solve these puzzles is through everyones comments. That ABBA one still has got me. I have no idea what you all were adding up ..
ReplyDeleteoh well now on to 16!
Help on level 16 map. This is what I have so far, but I can't seem to put the rest together.
ReplyDeleteHELP
Awesome small! I thing the one with the letter D on it has the tip of the pen.
ReplyDeleteWow Small-- incredible
ReplyDeleteNow I have this but...
ReplyDeleteSTILL NEED HELP
I think the "E" and the bottom of the original guitar make a Key???
ReplyDeleteNever mind.. just saw your new picture small
ReplyDeleteI will upload what I got.
ReplyDeleteHey small, we're almost at the same spot. The E has the base of the lamp (genie lamp thingy)
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteSorry, that was your pic again @s-t...
ReplyDeleteNow:OK like this?
Are you sure that's right Ellie, because now you start top left with a +
ReplyDeleteAnd at he bottom left you have half a +.
From that pic I got:
ReplyDeleteopen lamp under view E kangaroo (jump? joey?) banjo-string eye (see?) sleds tap (stop? up?) gold/treasure.
Will have to work on this a bit...
@small-tool, not sure of anything but the rest of the pics kind of fitted. Be welcome to modify it. I'll give it a second look too.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how to do the links the way you do so I have this
ReplyDeletehttp://bit.ly/dHs7tf
I think you're close Ellie, but the pen + and the the 2nd row starting with - is confusing.
At least @s-t, if you turn your spring upside down it fits under the kangaroos and the treasure below the eye fits in the black pot.
ReplyDeleteWell since I can't contribute with the picture cut/paste here are the words that I can think of:
ReplyDeleteOpen
lamp
view
E??
pouch (jump, joey)
Banjo
spring
eye (look, see)
sleds
urn
gold (pot, treasure)
I think this is very close, if not correct. Could that be a symbol other than a V?
ReplyDeletehttp://bit.ly/eV61rz
Ellie in your pic the - next to the V also seems small.
ReplyDeleteBut...
HOW ABOUT THIS ONE
@mkganda, I think it's a bit confusing too with the + signs. Don't you think the lamp fits with the thing under the tip of the pen?
ReplyDeleteTo make a clickable link write like this:
and insert your link on two places (remove the spaces around the link) like this:
Put your link here as well
Now, if you want to hide the http's only put the link in the first of the two places, and write whatever you like in the second place.
For example:
This is the logotype of EG24
And it will look like this:
This is the logotype of EG24
@small-tool Ours are exactly the same.
ReplyDeleteThat one seems very good @s-t and @mkganda! I did like to start with "open" though. Never would have turned the V upside down. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWow! Thanks Ellie!!!
ReplyDeleteLike this?
My Picture
Yep mkganda, but somehow the first time I opened your pic it wasn't a complete picture. Some parts were still not connected and all over the place. Or did I mix up some links.
ReplyDeleteBut then again what's the V upside down an N ?
Woohoo! I did it! The link not the level lol.
ReplyDeleteI swear, Ellie, you've taught me so much since I've come here. You're very patient and very generous. :)
Just like that @mkganda :)
ReplyDeleteI don't really get how to subtract the minus things, like lamp(?) from the things before.
It's Lambda! Greek symbol :D
ReplyDeleteI mean the V upside down is the greek symbol for Lambda.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that is a "U". all the other letters seem normally shaped
ReplyDeleteLol @mkganda, we teach each other lots of things here :) I got taught about these things from others like kitkatfox a long time ago.
ReplyDeleteAnyway it looks like we have:
ReplyDeleteUpside down V + Pen + Horseshoe - Magic Lamp + Jumping - Banjo + E + Spring - Eye + O + Sledges - Tap - Pot of Gold.
Or something like that.
So if we go lambdapenu-lamp = bdaenu + (is that a joey or hop?)
ReplyDeleteJoey and the tap I think is an URN
ReplyDeleteIt it joey or jump and then we can -banjo
ReplyDeletebanjo e = bon jovi?
ReplyDeletejust a thought, the arrow points at a joey, then banjo could mean ban the jo part leaving us just ey ,next + e making the word eye ??
ReplyDelete@ Truus, that is what I thought too
ReplyDeleteWell, forget that lol. Wasn't looking at the minus sign. Trying to do other things simultaneous here but will start to focus.
ReplyDeleteYup! And the horseshoe is a U so we can -urn
ReplyDeleteI am SO CLOSE!!! Got 7 letters. Doing it all over again.
ReplyDeleteYep :D That worked fine!! On 17 now.
ReplyDeleteGOT IT!!!
ReplyDelete@mkganda, you need 8 letters.
ReplyDeleteOk Ellie do tell .. Please!
ReplyDeleteLvl 17 look terrible lol.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened. Had to go for a while and now you're all on 17. How, what ?
ReplyDeletethey are
ReplyDeletelambda pen u
lamp joey banjo
e spring eye
o sleds urn gold
@EnJoy, it's aboout writing all of the things and subtract all the letters from the minus words like we've been doing. You'll have 8 letters left in the end. Its a lambda sign, a pen, letter U, spring, sleds, then there is a lamp, tap, joey, gold, eye, banjo... hm, did I forget something?
ReplyDeleteJust write them all out as you go and cross them off when you subtract.
ReplyDeleteeg
lambdapenu -lamp = bdaenu + joey =bdaenujoey - banjo
Oh yes, sorry... NOT a tap but an urn.
ReplyDelete@ mkganda .. you have to "dumb it down" for me some more. I will keep trying though
ReplyDelete17 is terrible! No hint in source and now hint in title?
ReplyDeleteThanks on level 17 too.
ReplyDeleteOk.. I will keep trying .. I am on the right track
ReplyDeleteI totally agree @mkganda! How on earth will it be possible to get all of these pics right (if that's what to do)??
ReplyDelete@EnJoy let me know and I can email you.
ReplyDelete@Ellie I thought maybe a year, but we have LOST and Papa Smurf in here together sooo...no. :s
We can't have to individually identify them right? Last time we had to do that the images were individually clickable and this is one big picture.
ReplyDelete(and I did try collage lol)
Just found this site and will defenitely look some more at it: http://www.mit.edu/~puzzle/08/image_search/answer/
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's bigger than a year or a decade? Who's the first guy?
ReplyDeleteOr maybe we have to zone in on things that are the same ie movies?
Yep 17 seems like a real nightmare. And this time I'm not gonna do all those pictures like on the banknotes level. And by the way, then it was all work down the drain because we didn't need those names after all.
ReplyDeleteSo, it's the alphabet there. Then what?
ReplyDeleteaww...@small, I know! You kicked a** on that one. However I usually overwork every single level so, don't feel too bad.
ReplyDeleteI really don't think that's what we're doing though which means we probably do b/c I'm usually wrong!
LOL! I even overwork my comments! :P
Finally got 16! Had to write it out 3 times.. well anyway .. next!
ReplyDeleteCan't find Image2 either.
ReplyDeleteGongtats @EnJoy! Now help with the alphabet on 17 please :)
ReplyDeleteSo the pictures are all letters from the alphabet, but they aren't in the right order are they? So maybe we have to find the ones out of order.
ReplyDeleteRight! NATO phonetic
ReplyDeleteThe first picture is charlie chaplin.
ReplyDeleteI have 26 images, but can't match some of them up.
ReplyDeleteand finally on 17 too.
ReplyDeletelol @enjoy me too!!
dinner break now, good luck all.
Cricketer, Wow! Really? Would never have guessed that. So which is the kid with the slip 'n' slide and is the flag from the Narcissus?
ReplyDeleteStop looking for names. We know what it is. It is just what it is N... A.......
ReplyDeleteOn 18 now.
Oh... I tried lots of other names for that but not the correct one. Thanks @s-t! (And I just matched all pics with the correct letters lol)
ReplyDeleteOr maybe keep on looking for names because we need them for level 18.
ReplyDeleteFlag of Quebec.
ReplyDeleteJohnny Bravo is the one with the blond hair and comb.
Check out Ellie's link @ 9:40. That should help.
I think the whole alphabet is there. So not sure what we are to do now.??
Well, maybe my matching will help on lvl 18 :)
ReplyDeleteHere it is: matching letters and pictures
Great Ellie, then tell us what the names are on level 18.
ReplyDeleteOkay thanks! On 18. I kept putting in "phonetic". *head on desk*
ReplyDeleteHm... maybe I did something wrong when matching? Got snimtetetsad which gave me "Das Testiment" and thats not correct.
ReplyDeletewoo hoo.. got 18 by myself!
ReplyDeleteEllie,
ReplyDeleteYou're M is wrong (not on your pictures, but in your post).
19 looks like states in the U.S.A
ReplyDeleteHm... forgot to look in the source. DC. Trying for other anagrams now.
ReplyDeleteAnd now the Europeans have done enough. It's over to the Americans again to solve level 19.
ReplyDeleteOh thanks small tool, I'd tried a few other similar but not that one.
ReplyDeleteGot it! On 19.
ReplyDelete@Ellie change your m to a u :)
Thanks @s-t! Wrote it down too quick and used "military" instead of "uniform". Trying again.
ReplyDeleteCome on guys, you probably had to learn those states in school. So which ones are those?
ReplyDeleteAnd on 19!
ReplyDeleteEllie, this is a good anagram solver:
ReplyDeletehttp://anagram-solver.net/
Lol, small. Working on it.
ReplyDeleteOur hints are:
Crossroads
DC
Thanks for the help @mkganda and @cricketer too. Looking at the states now.
ReplyDeleteThe first one probably Illinois.
ReplyDeleteThe second one New Hampshire ?
ReplyDeleteThe third one (first next to 7) Massachusetts?
ReplyDeleteThe fourth one New York?
ReplyDelete1. Illinois 3.Mass 4.NY 6.NH
ReplyDeleteI'm numbering
12
34
Illinois and New Hampshire
ReplyDeleteMassachusetts and New York
Connecticut and New Hampshire
still working
hi all can i have a little push on 17.just got in from work and nearly caught up
ReplyDeleteWell I better start at the bottom then;
ReplyDelete19 and 20 (same numbering as mkganda) are
Illinois and Kansas (I think).
I got the same ones as you. Working slow here.
ReplyDeleteNumber 8 is pennsylvania?
@bigtank, its the name of that alphabet. Looka at the post from s-t on 1/25/11 10:03 AM
17 and 18
ReplyDeleteNorth Carolina and Pennsylvania.
11 nebraska?
ReplyDelete15 and 16
ReplyDeleteDelaware and Iowa (both not sure).
Got em all! He he
ReplyDelete1 Illinois 2.New Hampshire
3. Massachusetts 4.NY
5. Connecticut 6.New Hampshire
7. Kentucky 8.Pennsylvania
9. Rhode Island 10. Vermont
11. Nebraska 12. Wisconsin
13. Maryland 14. Massachusetts
15. Delaware 16. Louisiana
17. North Carolina 18.Pennsylvania
19. Illinois 20. Kansas
Okay, so what with the #s in parentheses before each row?
ReplyDelete10 vermont.
ReplyDeletesorry 15 and 16
ReplyDeleteDelaware and Louisiana
You guys, stop. They're done lol.
ReplyDeleteLOL @mkganda!! You were sneeking around and just pops them all in out heads :) Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteOk.. Just finish and mine are the same as yours Mkganda
ReplyDeleteLOL! I have a geography whiz in the family. Hubby thinks I'm "slow" because I can't name them by sight like that. But!! He can! :D
ReplyDeletethe source says !DC???
ReplyDelete@EnJoy I know! And the page title is crossroads.
ReplyDeleteGreat job mkganda.
ReplyDeleteAnd now?
We can't take the letters because Kansas only has 6 letters.
So what's with the clue crossroads?
So, do we need the abbreviations for them?
ReplyDeleteI first started taking letter1, letter 7 and so on, but that didn't work for kansas(can't take letter 7 there).
Well, the "crossroads of America" is Indiana and DC is in Maryland. That's all I know.
ReplyDeletelol...Well not ALL I know, but probably all I know about this. :P
ReplyDeleteOh Oh.. the experts at Nordinho describe this level as "strange and hard"
ReplyDeleteDo we have to find interstates between those pairs of states and then look where they cross?
ReplyDeleteOk.. In D.C. the streets are named after states.
ReplyDeleteNordinho has a clue:
see title and source hint
also, round=circle and Square = Square
Does it have to do with traffic circles in between these streets?
Well, you'd have to cross 5 states to get from 1(Ill) to 2(NH). Pennsylvania would be smack dab in the middle of them.
ReplyDeleteAre we talking CD like in Maryland now or like in District of Colombia/Washington? Sorry, but a bit lost on the roads here.
ReplyDeleteFound this and will look a bit at it:
ReplyDeletehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Circles_in_Washington,_D.C.
3 and 4 abut each other so there goes that theory.
ReplyDeleteOk.. Dupont Circle is at the End of New Hampshire in the District of Columbia. My google maps are not loading very fast.
ReplyDeleteThat could mean the first circle is Grant circle (take first letter??) and the next circle (connecticut/new hampshire) is Dupont circle and so on. Will look some more.
ReplyDeleteDupont Circle is in the Crossroads of Connecticut and New Hampshire which would connect with our clues
ReplyDeletenumber 1 - Illinois Ave. and New Hampshire = Grant Circle
ReplyDeleteGot 7 circles now, going on with squares.
ReplyDeleteMass Ave and New York = mt. vernon square
ReplyDeleteOh NO! This looks terribly confusing!
ReplyDeleteWait a minute the second one should be Massachusetts and New York right. So how can that be Dupont Circle?
ReplyDeleteBut, what then are the numbers?
ReplyDeleteThe third one should be Dupont Circle.
ReplyDeleteThe 5th Logan Circle?
ReplyDeleteSeward square is pennsylvania and north carolina
ReplyDelete@s-t have a look at this site and just do ctrlF for the streets: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Circles_in_Washington,_D.C.
ReplyDeletethe 5th is tenley?
The 6th Tenley Circle?
ReplyDeleteHaving trouble finding maryland/massachussets square. Have 9 letters from the rest, but don't want to bruteforce the anagram lol. Maybe I'm totally wrong.
ReplyDeleteAre you sure you didn't mix up Ellie?
ReplyDeleteI have now;
1 Grant Circle
2 Mt Vernon Circle
3 Dupont Circle
4 ?
5 Logan Circle
6 Tenley Circle
7 ?
8 ?
9 Seward Square
10 ?
I have:
ReplyDeleteGrant
Mt. Vernon
Dupont
??
Logan
Tenley
Stanton
Columbus
Seward
Sherman
Well, looking at the letters in order it was hard NOT to see the word. On 20 now, but never got the square in maryland/massachussets that should have T as second letter.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteLOL! NVM. Damn google anyway!
ReplyDelete@s-t sorry, I was counting circles only when you asked for the 5th circle.
ReplyDeleteI had:
grant, dupont, barney, logan, tenley, columbus, sherman for the circles.
the squares are mount vernon, ? and seward
You have to place them in mixed order circles/squares to get the word though.
And I'm on level 20.
ReplyDeleteThanks for Stanton @EnJoy!
ReplyDeleteThen they are:
They are:
Grant
Mt. Vernon
Dupont
Barney
Logan
Tenley
Stanton
Columbus
Seward
Sherman
But, well... Mt Vernon should be written Mount Vernon.
ReplyDeleteGetting a bit tired now, looking at 20.
And 20! Thanks everyone! That was a toughie!
ReplyDeleteOn the second one, you need to spell out Mount to get the right letter.
So we've got the moon for sure lol.
ReplyDeleteThe 4th pic. should be Tasmania, right?
ReplyDeleteOh God.. 19.. I went to college there!
ReplyDeleteLol @mkganda!
ReplyDeleteI have
moon, canada/somerset island
north island/new zealand, tasmania/australia
and 3 ireland 22 USA
What does that make??
EnJoy is patting herself on the back for contributing to level 19!!! :)
ReplyDeleteSo, what do all of these places have? Crates? Names of places (22 of them in USA and 3 in ireland etc...=?
ReplyDeleteWHO KNOWS??? This riddle is all over the place!
ReplyDeleteAt least they are all islands in a way.
ReplyDeleteI think they all have the city G..... T...
ReplyDeleteand 22 in the States (that could be right).
But the moon and 3 in Ireland?
Could be! You CAN buy real estate on the moon and the light side is almost sold clean out! I wonder.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that the moon picture is called 357 while the rest are 20, 20a, 20b...anything?
We were kidding right? Where is everyone?
ReplyDeleteI'm still here, but no idea.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's not the city The States have way more than 22 of those.
I am here.. thinking
ReplyDeleteI'm still here too. No good ideas yet though, still trying to find a good connection.
ReplyDeletemy first thought was we have a launceston town in england, also a county of somerset, i thought twin cities . ?
ReplyDeleteGot Egg. google all together
ReplyDeleteLevel 21!
ReplyDeleteGoogle Moon craters, canada new zealand and tasmania
Nicely done EnJoy!!! 21
ReplyDeleteCongrats @EnJoy!!! I'm still trying to find something there. Not Anderson...
ReplyDeleteSecond set is the additional levels she added so I don't think any of that was significant.
ReplyDeleteWow.. I helped on two in a row!! :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats EnJoy, but I still can't find anything when I Google that.
ReplyDeleteI really want it to be anderson or andersson or andersonbay etc, but it's still not. Well, looking at other google results then.
ReplyDeletegoogle this:
ReplyDeletetasmania moon craters somerset island new zealand
it is the first listing
Begins with a "B"
ReplyDeleteAlso a city in England
Thanks @EnJoy!! It did matter in which order to put the words when googling. I had the same words but in a different order and didn't get that at all. On 21 now!
ReplyDeleteThanks EnJoy,
ReplyDeleteLevel 21 now.
on to 21 was on the right track with twin cities maybe lol
ReplyDeleteGlad to help you both FINALLY!
ReplyDeleteLevel 21
