1. Thanks @small-tool! On 16 now :)

2. It is indeed a rebus, but also a jigsaw. In paint I can't rotate pieces so what can I do? I'm seeing some stuff, but this will take me a long time if I have to do so much guessing. Are there free programs where this would be easier?

ReplyDelete
3. @Edgar

Count letters From B=0 it's a fruit.

ReplyDelete
4. Sorry faltu, I meant 14. Still not completely awake I guess...

ReplyDelete
5. @mkganda, I just printed it and have lots of pieces lying around now. Idk what to get from it yet.

Good morning @Edgar! For 13, find the numbers of the 5 vitamins, then count letters in the alphabet, but don't start on A, but on B.

ReplyDelete
6. just connect the words. what you see? P****l***

ReplyDelete
7. @Edgar For 14 start with the obvious word and notice how it's written, in a l***. Then put the two together for a new word. p********

hahahahaha! Good one! ;P

ReplyDelete
8. Sorry @Edgar, 14 then... use the word you see there, but it needs to be combined with the way the letters are placed. In a row, but not using that word. There are some quite clear help in previous comments too.

ReplyDelete
9. Thanks for help anyway. That would have make more sense @mk...

ReplyDelete
10. Okay, gotta' go for a while. Have my pieces cut out and ready to go. Good luck and leave me hints! :D

ReplyDelete
11. Lol, big parts of my puzzle are not making sense yet. The only word I got this far is "open". I don't even know what all the things in the pics are called. This will definitely take a while.

ReplyDelete
12. At least I got the pieces together in a 4x5 grid. Now, does anyone know the name of the "machine" with a tap?

ReplyDelete
13. Good Morning.. just got kids off to school .. on level 12 since last night. Need to catch up.

Reading previous comments

ReplyDelete
14. Good morning @EnJoy! Good luck catching up! I'll need to leave for a while and will go on staring at the rebus in lvl 16 later on.

ReplyDelete
15. Help on 13 (vitamins)

I got the numbers of the vitamins B10, B3 etc..

saw in comments that you have to convert the numbers to letters. starting with B. So would B=1 C=2??

if so I get KDLNM which of course doesn't make a word. Help!

ReplyDelete
16. Thank you small-tool.. why couldn't I figure that out??

(don't answer that) :)

ReplyDelete
17. Hi all! Back and working on our treasure map.

ReplyDelete
18. Hi Mkganda.. I am all caught up. It cracks me up that the only way I solve these puzzles is through everyones comments. That ABBA one still has got me. I have no idea what you all were adding up ..

oh well now on to 16!

ReplyDelete
19. Help on level 16 map. This is what I have so far, but I can't seem to put the rest together.

HELP

ReplyDelete
20. Awesome small! I thing the one with the letter D on it has the tip of the pen.

ReplyDelete
21. I think the "E" and the bottom of the original guitar make a Key???

ReplyDelete
22. Never mind.. just saw your new picture small

ReplyDelete
23. I will upload what I got.

ReplyDelete
24. Hey small, we're almost at the same spot. The E has the base of the lamp (genie lamp thingy)

ReplyDelete
25. This comment has been removed by the author.

ReplyDelete
26. Sorry, that was your pic again @s-t...

Now:OK like this?

ReplyDelete
27. Are you sure that's right Ellie, because now you start top left with a +
And at he bottom left you have half a +.

ReplyDelete
28. From that pic I got:
open lamp under view E kangaroo (jump? joey?) banjo-string eye (see?) sleds tap (stop? up?) gold/treasure.
Will have to work on this a bit...

ReplyDelete
29. @small-tool, not sure of anything but the rest of the pics kind of fitted. Be welcome to modify it. I'll give it a second look too.

ReplyDelete
30. I don't know how to do the links the way you do so I have this

http://bit.ly/dHs7tf

I think you're close Ellie, but the pen + and the the 2nd row starting with - is confusing.

ReplyDelete
31. At least @s-t, if you turn your spring upside down it fits under the kangaroos and the treasure below the eye fits in the black pot.

ReplyDelete
32. Well since I can't contribute with the picture cut/paste here are the words that I can think of:

Open
lamp
view
E??
pouch (jump, joey)
Banjo
spring
eye (look, see)
sleds
urn
gold (pot, treasure)

ReplyDelete
33. I think this is very close, if not correct. Could that be a symbol other than a V?

http://bit.ly/eV61rz

ReplyDelete
34. Ellie in your pic the - next to the V also seems small.
But...
HOW ABOUT THIS ONE

ReplyDelete
35. @mkganda, I think it's a bit confusing too with the + signs. Don't you think the lamp fits with the thing under the tip of the pen?

To make a clickable link write like this:
and insert your link on two places (remove the spaces around the link) like this:

Put your link here as well

Now, if you want to hide the http's only put the link in the first of the two places, and write whatever you like in the second place.

For example:
This is the logotype of EG24

And it will look like this:
This is the logotype of EG24

ReplyDelete
36. @small-tool Ours are exactly the same.

ReplyDelete
37. That one seems very good @s-t and @mkganda! I did like to start with "open" though. Never would have turned the V upside down. Thanks!

ReplyDelete
38. Wow! Thanks Ellie!!!

Like this?

My Picture

ReplyDelete
39. Yep mkganda, but somehow the first time I opened your pic it wasn't a complete picture. Some parts were still not connected and all over the place. Or did I mix up some links.

But then again what's the V upside down an N ?

ReplyDelete
40. Woohoo! I did it! The link not the level lol.

I swear, Ellie, you've taught me so much since I've come here. You're very patient and very generous. :)

ReplyDelete
41. Just like that @mkganda :)

I don't really get how to subtract the minus things, like lamp(?) from the things before.

ReplyDelete
42. It's Lambda! Greek symbol :D

ReplyDelete
43. I mean the V upside down is the greek symbol for Lambda.

ReplyDelete
44. I don't think that is a "U". all the other letters seem normally shaped

ReplyDelete
45. Lol @mkganda, we teach each other lots of things here :) I got taught about these things from others like kitkatfox a long time ago.

ReplyDelete
46. Anyway it looks like we have:
Upside down V + Pen + Horseshoe - Magic Lamp + Jumping - Banjo + E + Spring - Eye + O + Sledges - Tap - Pot of Gold.

Or something like that.

ReplyDelete
47. So if we go lambdapenu-lamp = bdaenu + (is that a joey or hop?)

ReplyDelete
48. Joey and the tap I think is an URN

ReplyDelete
49. It it joey or jump and then we can -banjo

ReplyDelete
50. just a thought, the arrow points at a joey, then banjo could mean ban the jo part leaving us just ey ,next + e making the word eye ??

ReplyDelete
51. @ Truus, that is what I thought too

ReplyDelete
52. Well, forget that lol. Wasn't looking at the minus sign. Trying to do other things simultaneous here but will start to focus.

ReplyDelete
53. Yup! And the horseshoe is a U so we can -urn

ReplyDelete
54. I am SO CLOSE!!! Got 7 letters. Doing it all over again.

ReplyDelete
55. Yep :D That worked fine!! On 17 now.

ReplyDelete
56. @mkganda, you need 8 letters.

ReplyDelete
57. Ok Ellie do tell .. Please!

ReplyDelete
58. Lvl 17 look terrible lol.

ReplyDelete
59. What happened. Had to go for a while and now you're all on 17. How, what ?

ReplyDelete
60. they are

lambda pen u

lamp joey banjo

e spring eye

o sleds urn gold

ReplyDelete
61. @EnJoy, it's aboout writing all of the things and subtract all the letters from the minus words like we've been doing. You'll have 8 letters left in the end. Its a lambda sign, a pen, letter U, spring, sleds, then there is a lamp, tap, joey, gold, eye, banjo... hm, did I forget something?

ReplyDelete
62. Just write them all out as you go and cross them off when you subtract.

eg
lambdapenu -lamp = bdaenu + joey =bdaenujoey - banjo

ReplyDelete
63. Oh yes, sorry... NOT a tap but an urn.

ReplyDelete
64. @ mkganda .. you have to "dumb it down" for me some more. I will keep trying though

ReplyDelete
65. 17 is terrible! No hint in source and now hint in title?

ReplyDelete
66. Ok.. I will keep trying .. I am on the right track

ReplyDelete
67. I totally agree @mkganda! How on earth will it be possible to get all of these pics right (if that's what to do)??

ReplyDelete
68. @EnJoy let me know and I can email you.

@Ellie I thought maybe a year, but we have LOST and Papa Smurf in here together sooo...no. :s

ReplyDelete
69. We can't have to individually identify them right? Last time we had to do that the images were individually clickable and this is one big picture.

(and I did try collage lol)

ReplyDelete
70. Just found this site and will defenitely look some more at it: http://www.mit.edu/~puzzle/08/image_search/answer/

ReplyDelete
71. Maybe it's bigger than a year or a decade? Who's the first guy?

Or maybe we have to zone in on things that are the same ie movies?

ReplyDelete
72. Yep 17 seems like a real nightmare. And this time I'm not gonna do all those pictures like on the banknotes level. And by the way, then it was all work down the drain because we didn't need those names after all.

ReplyDelete
73. So, it's the alphabet there. Then what?

ReplyDelete
74. aww...@small, I know! You kicked a** on that one. However I usually overwork every single level so, don't feel too bad.
I really don't think that's what we're doing though which means we probably do b/c I'm usually wrong!

LOL! I even overwork my comments! :P

ReplyDelete
75. Finally got 16! Had to write it out 3 times.. well anyway .. next!

ReplyDelete
76. Can't find Image2 either.

ReplyDelete
77. Gongtats @EnJoy! Now help with the alphabet on 17 please :)

ReplyDelete
78. So the pictures are all letters from the alphabet, but they aren't in the right order are they? So maybe we have to find the ones out of order.

ReplyDelete
79. The first picture is charlie chaplin.

ReplyDelete
80. I have 26 images, but can't match some of them up.

ReplyDelete
81. and finally on 17 too.

lol @enjoy me too!!

dinner break now, good luck all.

ReplyDelete
82. Cricketer, Wow! Really? Would never have guessed that. So which is the kid with the slip 'n' slide and is the flag from the Narcissus?

ReplyDelete
83. Stop looking for names. We know what it is. It is just what it is N... A.......
On 18 now.

ReplyDelete
84. Oh... I tried lots of other names for that but not the correct one. Thanks @s-t! (And I just matched all pics with the correct letters lol)

ReplyDelete
85. Or maybe keep on looking for names because we need them for level 18.

ReplyDelete
86. Flag of Quebec.
Johnny Bravo is the one with the blond hair and comb.

Check out Ellie's link @ 9:40. That should help.

I think the whole alphabet is there. So not sure what we are to do now.??

ReplyDelete
87. Well, maybe my matching will help on lvl 18 :)
Here it is: matching letters and pictures

ReplyDelete
88. Great Ellie, then tell us what the names are on level 18.

ReplyDelete
89. Okay thanks! On 18. I kept putting in "phonetic". *head on desk*

ReplyDelete
90. Hm... maybe I did something wrong when matching? Got snimtetetsad which gave me "Das Testiment" and thats not correct.

ReplyDelete
91. woo hoo.. got 18 by myself!

ReplyDelete
92. Ellie,
You're M is wrong (not on your pictures, but in your post).

ReplyDelete
93. 19 looks like states in the U.S.A

ReplyDelete
94. Hm... forgot to look in the source. DC. Trying for other anagrams now.

ReplyDelete
95. And now the Europeans have done enough. It's over to the Americans again to solve level 19.

ReplyDelete
96. Oh thanks small tool, I'd tried a few other similar but not that one.

ReplyDelete
97. Got it! On 19.

@Ellie change your m to a u :)

ReplyDelete
98. Thanks @s-t! Wrote it down too quick and used "military" instead of "uniform". Trying again.

ReplyDelete
99. Come on guys, you probably had to learn those states in school. So which ones are those?

ReplyDelete
100. Ellie, this is a good anagram solver:

http://anagram-solver.net/

ReplyDelete
101. Lol, small. Working on it.

Our hints are:
Crossroads
DC

ReplyDelete
102. Thanks for the help @mkganda and @cricketer too. Looking at the states now.

ReplyDelete
103. The first one probably Illinois.

ReplyDelete
104. The second one New Hampshire ?

ReplyDelete
105. The third one (first next to 7) Massachusetts?

ReplyDelete
106. 1. Illinois 3.Mass 4.NY 6.NH

I'm numbering
12
34

ReplyDelete
107. Illinois and New Hampshire
Massachusetts and New York
Connecticut and New Hampshire

still working

ReplyDelete
108. hi all can i have a little push on 17.just got in from work and nearly caught up

ReplyDelete
109. Well I better start at the bottom then;
19 and 20 (same numbering as mkganda) are
Illinois and Kansas (I think).

ReplyDelete
110. I got the same ones as you. Working slow here.
Number 8 is pennsylvania?

@bigtank, its the name of that alphabet. Looka at the post from s-t on 1/25/11 10:03 AM

ReplyDelete
111. 17 and 18
North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

ReplyDelete
112. 15 and 16
Delaware and Iowa (both not sure).

ReplyDelete
113. Got em all! He he

1 Illinois 2.New Hampshire
3. Massachusetts 4.NY
5. Connecticut 6.New Hampshire
7. Kentucky 8.Pennsylvania
9. Rhode Island 10. Vermont
11. Nebraska 12. Wisconsin
13. Maryland 14. Massachusetts
15. Delaware 16. Louisiana
17. North Carolina 18.Pennsylvania
19. Illinois 20. Kansas

ReplyDelete
114. Okay, so what with the #s in parentheses before each row?

ReplyDelete
115. sorry 15 and 16
Delaware and Louisiana

ReplyDelete
116. You guys, stop. They're done lol.

ReplyDelete
117. LOL @mkganda!! You were sneeking around and just pops them all in out heads :) Thanks!!

ReplyDelete
118. Ok.. Just finish and mine are the same as yours Mkganda

ReplyDelete
119. LOL! I have a geography whiz in the family. Hubby thinks I'm "slow" because I can't name them by sight like that. But!! He can! :D

ReplyDelete
120. @EnJoy I know! And the page title is crossroads.

ReplyDelete
121. Great job mkganda.
And now?
We can't take the letters because Kansas only has 6 letters.
So what's with the clue crossroads?

ReplyDelete
122. So, do we need the abbreviations for them?
I first started taking letter1, letter 7 and so on, but that didn't work for kansas(can't take letter 7 there).

ReplyDelete
123. Well, the "crossroads of America" is Indiana and DC is in Maryland. That's all I know.

ReplyDelete
124. lol...Well not ALL I know, but probably all I know about this. :P

ReplyDelete
125. Oh Oh.. the experts at Nordinho describe this level as "strange and hard"

ReplyDelete
126. Do we have to find interstates between those pairs of states and then look where they cross?

ReplyDelete
127. Ok.. In D.C. the streets are named after states.

Nordinho has a clue:

see title and source hint
also, round=circle and Square = Square

Does it have to do with traffic circles in between these streets?

ReplyDelete
128. Well, you'd have to cross 5 states to get from 1(Ill) to 2(NH). Pennsylvania would be smack dab in the middle of them.

ReplyDelete
129. Are we talking CD like in Maryland now or like in District of Colombia/Washington? Sorry, but a bit lost on the roads here.

ReplyDelete
130. Found this and will look a bit at it:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Circles_in_Washington,_D.C.

ReplyDelete
131. 3 and 4 abut each other so there goes that theory.

ReplyDelete
132. Ok.. Dupont Circle is at the End of New Hampshire in the District of Columbia. My google maps are not loading very fast.

ReplyDelete
133. That could mean the first circle is Grant circle (take first letter??) and the next circle (connecticut/new hampshire) is Dupont circle and so on. Will look some more.

ReplyDelete
134. Dupont Circle is in the Crossroads of Connecticut and New Hampshire which would connect with our clues

ReplyDelete
135. number 1 - Illinois Ave. and New Hampshire = Grant Circle

ReplyDelete
136. Got 7 circles now, going on with squares.

ReplyDelete
137. Mass Ave and New York = mt. vernon square

ReplyDelete
138. Oh NO! This looks terribly confusing!

ReplyDelete
139. Wait a minute the second one should be Massachusetts and New York right. So how can that be Dupont Circle?

ReplyDelete
140. But, what then are the numbers?

ReplyDelete
141. The third one should be Dupont Circle.

ReplyDelete
142. Seward square is pennsylvania and north carolina

ReplyDelete
143. @s-t have a look at this site and just do ctrlF for the streets: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Circles_in_Washington,_D.C.

the 5th is tenley?

ReplyDelete
144. Having trouble finding maryland/massachussets square. Have 9 letters from the rest, but don't want to bruteforce the anagram lol. Maybe I'm totally wrong.

ReplyDelete
145. Are you sure you didn't mix up Ellie?
I have now;
1 Grant Circle
2 Mt Vernon Circle
3 Dupont Circle
4 ?
5 Logan Circle
6 Tenley Circle
7 ?
8 ?
9 Seward Square
10 ?

ReplyDelete
146. I have:
Grant
Mt. Vernon
Dupont
??
Logan
Tenley
Stanton
Columbus
Seward
Sherman

ReplyDelete
147. Well, looking at the letters in order it was hard NOT to see the word. On 20 now, but never got the square in maryland/massachussets that should have T as second letter.

ReplyDelete
148. This comment has been removed by the author.

ReplyDelete
149. LOL! NVM. Damn google anyway!

ReplyDelete
150. @s-t sorry, I was counting circles only when you asked for the 5th circle.
I had:
grant, dupont, barney, logan, tenley, columbus, sherman for the circles.
the squares are mount vernon, ? and seward

You have to place them in mixed order circles/squares to get the word though.

ReplyDelete
151. Thanks for Stanton @EnJoy!
Then they are:

They are:
Grant
Mt. Vernon
Dupont
Barney
Logan
Tenley
Stanton
Columbus
Seward
Sherman

ReplyDelete
152. But, well... Mt Vernon should be written Mount Vernon.
Getting a bit tired now, looking at 20.

ReplyDelete
153. And 20! Thanks everyone! That was a toughie!

On the second one, you need to spell out Mount to get the right letter.

ReplyDelete
154. So we've got the moon for sure lol.

ReplyDelete
155. The 4th pic. should be Tasmania, right?

ReplyDelete
156. Oh God.. 19.. I went to college there!

ReplyDelete
157. Lol @mkganda!
I have
moon, canada/somerset island
north island/new zealand, tasmania/australia
and 3 ireland 22 USA
What does that make??

ReplyDelete
158. EnJoy is patting herself on the back for contributing to level 19!!! :)

ReplyDelete
159. So, what do all of these places have? Crates? Names of places (22 of them in USA and 3 in ireland etc...=?

ReplyDelete
160. WHO KNOWS??? This riddle is all over the place!

ReplyDelete
161. At least they are all islands in a way.

ReplyDelete
162. I think they all have the city G..... T...
and 22 in the States (that could be right).
But the moon and 3 in Ireland?

ReplyDelete
163. Could be! You CAN buy real estate on the moon and the light side is almost sold clean out! I wonder.

I noticed that the moon picture is called 357 while the rest are 20, 20a, 20b...anything?

ReplyDelete
164. We were kidding right? Where is everyone?

ReplyDelete
165. I'm still here, but no idea.
