ReplyDeleteThe office: Read the note on the desk to discover your mission, then click the map button.
Click on Sunrise Resort and you will be in front of the hotel. Go forward.
The hotel lobby
Take the empty wine glass from the table. Go right. Note the nice carpet. Go right again and fill your glass from the bottle by the pool.
Go all the way left to elevator and press the button. Press the right side of the elevator buttons and then click the door; you’ll be on the 6th floor in front of room 643. Well, that was a wasted trip – it’s locked. Back to the elevator, press the buttons on the left side and you’ll be back in the lobby. You have to distract the maid, so go right to the room with the nice carpet and spill your wine. (thanks @zoz for pointing out the white wine mysteriously turned red on the carpet) Go left again to the elevator and pick up the keycard from the maid’s cart. Back into the elevator and use the keycard to enter the room.
Room 643
You’ll be coming back here later, so it would be a good idea to draw a map of this suite.
Go right into the kitchen and get the knife from the left drawer.
Left, then forward – nope, need a silver key.
Left again into living room and read boarding pass on table. Note the date of the flight.
Go forward to bedroom and click on yellow box on mantel. Where did you just see a 4-digit code?
On the boarding pass

Get white key.
Go left to bathroom. Note jammed drawers and razor dispenser on vanity. You need a quarter to get a razor and apparently you don’t carry any cash with you.
Go right, then back down to living room, then left to second bedroom. You need to use your white key here. Pick up the lighter from the desk. Go down into bathroom and use lighter on the candles. The block above the tub will come out and give you the silver key.
Go back and right to the room with the fireplace. Use lighter on fireplace and get green marble.
Go forward and use your silver key.
Click on cup on bed and get gold key.
Click on book on bed and see that your next stop should be the bookstore. You’re done at the hotel for now.
Part 2
Bookstore
Click on the map button, then on the bookstore. At the bottom of the screen in the gray circle is a quarter – pick it up. Go into the bookstore. Pick up the yellow marble from the trunk on the left. Click on the card on the sofa – our next destination will be our villain’s house on Pinewood Drive, so click on that on the map.

Okay, now you’re definitely going to need to draw a map, because I’m not going to put in every up/down/right/left or I’ll be here till tomorrow.
Enter the door – you need your gold key here.
Go up (I think. This is confusing because if you leave the house after using the key, you can’t get back to the room where you came in.
That should put you in a living room with a cozy fireplace. What’s that on the table? Yes! It’s a screwdriver. Note there are places for 6 marbles above the fireplace. Go right twice. There are 9 lockers and you have to get all the doors open. You can either figure this out yourself or use the spoiler if you’re too lazy (like me. Thanks to @Day_Dream for supplying the grid order).

Pick up purple marble.
Go right again. Pick up the wrench from the hot tub. Note the rope holding up the bell. Use your knife on it and get the rusty key.
Go through the door and left twice. You’re back in the living room.

ReplyDeleteGo left, then down. Pick up black marble from under chair. Go back then left, use your rusty key. Go left, left and use wrench on faucet. Get black key. Note decal on mirror. Maybe it will come off with a razor blade?
Go right to kitchen and up twice. Pick up water bottle from counter.
Back down and right to living room. Use water on fire and get blue marble.
Go up, up again, use black key.
Left twice into bathroom, get pink marble from middle towel.
Time to go back to the hotel.

ReplyDeleteBack in the hotel suite – go up and left to bathroom, use screwdriver on stuck drawer and get pliers. While you’re there, put your quarter in the razor dispenser and get a blade. Down and left to bottom bedroom, use screwdriver on drawer and get red marble.
Time to go back to Pinewood.
Left 3 time to bathroom, use razor blade on decal, get code. Go right to living room, up and left to bedroom. Use screwdriver on vent at left, then pliers to get orange marble.
Right and down to living room and place marbles above fireplace.
Use your code on the box and you’re out.

- Spill the glass of wine on the floor (and now the maid at the elevator is gone).

- Take the brown KEYCARD from the trolley.
- Go in the elevator (use the button between the elevators) and go to floor 6, go out and use the keycard to go in...

- Take the WRENCH from the bottom right side of the screen.
- Use the knife to cut the rope on the left so the bell drops down. Take the RUSTY KEY.

- Zoom in on the vent in the floor under the window. Use the screwdriver to open it and then the pliers to take the ORANGE BALL.

- Use the water on the fireplace and take the BLUE BALL.
- Now put in all 8 balls on their right color and a part of the fireplace opens. Take the CODE BOX and use the number from the mirror (4538) on it. Open it and try to take the tube with the virus, but you can't because you're out at that moment. But anyway, mission accomplished.
okay @small-tool. Please post your WT now. I"m sure people will need it as mine is apread out over 4 parts and hard to read without the bold. and meanwhile, how do you and the others type these things so fast when yo're putting in all those arrow and slashes? I can only aspire that one day I'll be half as good. and now I think it's time for a drink!

ReplyDeleteI don't know why... but I had a hard time seeing the navigation arrows at first. Then as the game progressed that got easier. There were some places you entered by finding and clicking a navigation arrow and some were accessed by clicking on a hot spot. Very nice and enjoyable game. A great way to spend my lunch break! ReplyDeleteIt took a long time, but I didn't need to look at the comments. Found out later that the 9 trial and error lockers seems to have two solutions (probably for different games). I solved them the way annaby did in her wt.
One thing that got me really confused was when I went to 420 Pinewood. I went in, then backed outside again. Next time I went in there was a new view! I didn't need the "sneaky" disappearing view though.
Looking forward to more games like this!

ReplyDeleteI was liking these games until the last two, in the Castle one I couldn't get the SD and in this one I cannot spill the wine and the comments here are not descriptive enough and/or are in unintelligible English. So I'm not even going to bother anymore. It's upsetting to get to a certain point and then be unable to play because of a bug or whatever secret clicking motion I need to do.

ReplyDeleteWe're all trying to do the best we can with the poor English we use as non native English speakers, but did you notice there are more than 200 comments? There are two walkthroughs there trying to tell where you have to spill the wine.

ReplyDeleteMaybe you don't understand that you spill the wine on the carpet in the room to the left of the heated pool outside. Remember you have to fill the glass first with wine from the bottle at the pool. Once you spill the wine you DON't get a key there - you have to go to the elevators where the maid has now disappeared and you get the KEY CARD from her cart. You use that to get into the room after you go up in the elevator.
SoAl - there's a hotspot near the bottom of the carpet in that scene. If you click there, the dialog box tells you what a nice carpet it is. That's where you spill the wine.
