Hi, all!
ReplyDeleteA lot of keys, but stuck. :-)
I am just loading
ReplyDeleteOh sweet! Let's see what can be done here!
ReplyDeleteWell, there's a big number 3 on the curtains!
There are clues everywhere... I=8, Fa/4
ReplyDelete@Not, where did you find those keys?
ReplyDeleteLoading....
ReplyDeleteIf blue is 2 (use binoculars onthe balcony) and red is 3 (on curtains), then lylac is 5 (key over shelves). Bruteforced the box on the table with lylac as 5. No results.
ReplyDeleteGot a star...
ReplyDeletejust starting!
ReplyDelete@shannon: I mean „clues“. :-)
ReplyDeleteSorry, english is not my native language.
out...nice game...straightforward
ReplyDelete4 in yellow, 3 in red, is it link to hint on the wall in the frame.
ReplyDeleteNo worries. Do we know the value for Yellow? Red is 3 and blue is 2.
ReplyDeleteFuze, where did you see the clue for yellow?
ReplyDeletepiano, 4= fa in yellow color right?
ReplyDeleteIf red is 3, blue is 2, and yellow is 4, then orange is 7, green is 6 and purple is 5.... but does not work on the box on table
ReplyDeleteThe code works with yellow as 4, but I'm not sure where to find the yellow 4. Got SD from box!
ReplyDeletefound star and binoculars
ReplyDelete@The Davynator: FM Fuze is right: yellow 4 is on piano.
ReplyDeleteOut! Good game.
ReplyDelete@The Davynator how you break the code cause i put 567 doesn't work.
ReplyDelete@Davynator, I tried 567 for code but that didn't work
ReplyDeleteMe too...
ReplyDeleteYou have to have looked at all 3 number clues before you can input the code: Red on the curtains, blue using binoculars on outside view, yellow on the piano. Click randomly all over box after inputting code (567, as stated).
ReplyDeletePOP, got the sd
ReplyDeleteAlready saw all clues, will click aimlessly
ReplyDeleteAlright, I got a hint for the orange door code, but it only gave me three letters for the symbols: F, I, G for the Circle with a cut-out star, command symbol, and snowflake. Trying to find the others.
ReplyDeleterandom clicking worked
ReplyDeleteThanks Ella...
ReplyDeleteand i got GDA beside the piano
ReplyDeletei think i'm way behind.. trying to figure out music note clue
ReplyDeleteOoh! Found another part of the code out on the patio!
ReplyDeleteopsss... beside the cb and not piano
ReplyDeleteThe Davynator, where did you find those letters? I found AEH, on the piano...
ReplyDelete@The Davynator: bottom right side of shelves. Click on wall…
ReplyDeleteThe first code I found after completing the Othello puzzle, the second was when I was out on the patio, there is a thrid set on the side of the cupboard, and now I'm trying to find the piano one!
ReplyDelete@The Davynator - my mistake there is no clue on piano only I = 8
ReplyDeleteI = 8 (piano pillow)
ReplyDeleteII = 1 (table leg)
III = 9 (ladder)
Where is IV? :-)
1 set from bottom right side of shelves and the other one in the green puzzle next to door - that is all i got.
ReplyDeleteOh! Found the clue on the piano! It's on the part that typically holds the music, just click around a lot!
ReplyDeleteAnyone seen a Roman Numeral IV around? I think I need it for the last puzzle! Found I, II, and III!
@The Davynator: click white mark over the piano, on the desk.
ReplyDeleteOk, still missing one part of letter/shape code, and I have a battery. What is the battery for?
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteHo-ho, we don't need IV.
ReplyDeleteAnd out!
got it, at the balcony using binoculars.
ReplyDelete1st clue - GDA
ReplyDelete2nd clue - FIG
3rd Clue - BJC
@shannon: I think, its not a battery, its some kind oа paint. Use it on balcony.
ReplyDeleteNOT, why don't we need IV? Is there something else?
ReplyDeletenot binoculars but wet tissue
ReplyDeleteNOT, thanks a bunch, I would have never guessed that to be a tube of paint!
ReplyDelete@The Davynator: look attentively at the ladder. :-)
ReplyDeleteAhhh! Thanks NOT! Now I'm out!
ReplyDelete@shannon: ;-)
ReplyDeleteCool NOT, Thanks
ReplyDeleteOut... that was a good one. That last code was pretty tricky
ReplyDeleteI had the hardest time finding the table! lol (bottom of screen when looking at window). Thanks @Not for mentioning it.
ReplyDeleteSeveral tricky puzzles to solve -- good one!
I must be slow. Where are the binoculars?
ReplyDeletePOP! Found them on the table.
ReplyDeleteThat was a good game!
ReplyDeleteI can't get the clue on the ladder. Looks like 2 3 1 1, that doesn't work. Using the numbers I, II and III (8,1,9 here) misses nr IV. @NOT says, it's not needed.
ReplyDeleteOh, no, once again I found the solution after posting. It is true, that one doesn't need the nr IV.
ReplyDelete@not, where is the ladder? And my letters are
ReplyDeletegda
fig
aeh
Are there four triples, or are they just different for everyone? Questions over Questions???
and the symbols from the letters are not all correspondenting to the symbols of the door...???I need help!
ReplyDeleteAre you all gone?
ReplyDeletehabe hinweise aeh, fig und gda, aber leider passen nicht alle symbole mit der tür zusammen, helft mal bitte einer
ReplyDeleteI don't get the letters code? I have 4 lots of letters not 3:
ReplyDeleteGDA - AEH - FIG - BJC and the symbols don't fit with what I have HELP
What ladder?

ReplyDeleteeerrr I mean I have 819 but no other number works with it
ReplyDeletedoh It IS spoiler1988spoiler
ReplyDeleteMarita; gibt es noch einen 4 Symbole code auf dem Balkon, mit den Buchstaben BJC, falls nicht finden, der code lautet:
ReplyDeleteCFB
IJH
AGI
This is a game that could use a WT!
ReplyDeleteI hope someone will do one!
Great game!
ReplyDeleteI'll try.
ReplyDeleteWalkthrough part 1:
Opening screen
There are four things to look at , so have a snoop at them.
[Then go and rummage in the desk drawer for your Trusty Notepad, then distract your dog so you can get your pen back]
Note that you will need a screwdriver, a direction arrows clue, and an othello board setup. The codes don't reset if you zoom out, so don't play with them too much now.
Go left.
Piano view
Click the seat cushion and see I=8. Write that down if your memory's anything like mine.
Have a zoom at the keys and see an 8-note scale, with the number 4 in yellow. Note down, somehow the numbers for each note [i.e., "Fa" = 4, "Sol" = 5, etc.]
Zoom into the music stand above the keys and see symbols representing shapes, for A E H.
If you can, make a sketch of this clue. I made a 3x3 grid and turned back to the door to convert the symbols to letters on my notepad as I went along.
Screenshots help if you really can't understand your drawings =)
Go left.
Tree view
Zoom into everything zoomable to investigate.
The pigeon photo can be zoomed again, so click the white rectangle, bottom left part.
This reveals 4 bars of music. Take note that the "Do" in the middle is higher than the two "La's". Convert the notes in this order to the numbers you noted on the piano.
A hidden spot to click is to the right side of the cupboard, so try that and note the symbols clue for G D A.
The top cupboard needs a key, and the bottom looks like it needs shape blocks inserted
[aren't you glad you had a shape-sorter as a child! Who knew? ]
See also a socket on the wall to the left.
Go left.
Window view
Click anywhere on the green curtains to close them, and see a red "3". Note this down.
Open them and click the glass of the window to see that it opens.
Before going out, click the grey line at the bottom of this scene to access the table.
Get the binoculars and have a look at the box.
Note that you will need the values for purple, green and orange, and realise that's what the picture on the wall was suggesting You know that yelloow and red values, which gives you the orange value. You can input this now if you like, because the box won't reset when you turn away.
Zoom out from the box and click the tempting little white mark on the left table leg - you know you can't resist!
Note the II =1 and zoom out by clicking down arrow.
Click the window open again and take a flying leap out of it by clicking above the black railing across the middle.
Grab that little yellow star and see a pale streak on the grey balcony.
Walkthrough part 2:
ReplyDeleteSelect the binoculars and click on the buildings.
Note the arrangement of blue tables [or hurdles?] in the shape of a number "2".
Now you can work out what all the colours for the box are, so, remembering the picture hint, click the down arrow and then the table again. Input the numbers for purple, grren and orange, then click the blak opening on the box [near the lid]
to get a screwdriver.
Zoom out and go left.
Door view again
Zoom in to the vent, select the screwdriver and click each of the screws around the bars. [Enjoy the satisfying sound of a decent ratchet screwdriver =) . I like that]
Click the bars to be rid of them and collect the cable.
Note the direction arrows clue, then go out and left to input them on the safe. Click the handle and get a blue hexagon.
Go left or right twice.
Tree view again
Zoom into the cd player and "use" the cable on it. Click the "On" button at the bottom right and the drawer flies open.
Collect the little key.
Zoom out, then in, to the top cupboard door.
Use the key on the lock, then click the door handle.
Get a blue thing whick looks like a ticket, but is in fact a sachet of something for cleaning masonry, it seems.
Pick up the green grid paper and note the positions of black and white cirles. Screenie is handy here. Who can remember that lot?
While you're here, you can put the two shapes into the lower door if you like.
Go left.
Window view again
Open the glass, leap outside by clicking upper part of view and scrub that dodgy patch off the wall; more symbols representing B J C.
Back out and go left.
Door view yet again
Zoom into the othello board and notice that the setup is upside-down from your clue. Click the circles that should correspond to white and then the handle on the right of the board.
Get the pink triangle and the last symbols clue for F I G.
Tree view again
Dash around either way to put the triangle into the door with the others and click the door handle.
A safe with a musical note on it and 7 digits to enter. From the note you made of the notes/numbers order, input the code and get - another safe!
Nested safes, now THERE'S a thing, haha.
Comparing your screenie or note from the door, unput the letters according to the 3-letter clues you have found around the room.
Get a weeny little black key [at last, no more safes!]
Go left or right twice and use it on the door.
Ignore the fact that you can charge up the ladder with a yell of truimph; you will only bang your head on the underside of a trap door!
Just take a second to consider the white arrow on the door, and wonder why the ladder is painted with those fancy colours.
Also, remember that you haven't used the roman numerals clue yet, and don't those green/purple rungs look a bit like....
The white arrow tells you which direction to read the numerals, so, realising you have the clues for I and II, and reading the II-III-I-I work out part of the 4-digit code and climb up using the up arrow [not the big one on the door]
There's the trapdoor and the last roman numeral, so click the white part to enter the code and input that.
Click the trapdoor handle twice and escape =)
I didn't have enough time to preview those before posting because I've got to go out in a hurry, so I hope it's okay.
ReplyDeleteI'll be back to see if any spoilers for the codes are needed.
I hope this lot helps anyway.
=)
@rookwings: good wt, although haven't read it totally, because I only needed a hint for the usage of the cleaning thing at the balcony...
ReplyDeleteVery good game!!
By the way: no bruteforcing for the code! I had the code except the last three from the balcony, but I knew which letters are missing (BCJ), so I tried all possible combinations, but it didn't work.
ReplyDelete@rookwings: Great walkthrough and love the humor!
ReplyDeleteTo escapism:
ReplyDeleteI think you have to see all clues before things work, so just check everywhere. I like games with an anti-bruteforcing [anti-cheat] mechanism, haha.
Look for anything "not-quite-right" in all the scenes =)
To Leigh: Thanks for your kind appraisal.
I just think, if something makes me laugh, it may have a chance to perk up someone else's day too =)
Really nice game. Just got tripped up on the blue tube of paint because I thought that it was a battery and couldn't read the writing due to language. OUT!
ReplyDeleteReplayed the game, because it was posted on another site, and there is a little change in the actual game: no hint beside the cupboard anymore, only three hints for the hidden safe-in-safe (balcony, piano and inside othello box). Took me ages to realise that, clicked it all over to find the non existant hidden spot... Duh!
