  1. Yes, @mk... I want that too (even though I see 9 letters). Walking down, looking right? Well, if I go straight down there is an L... and that's the end of my ideas.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Could the direction be from the keyboard? Starting from M an looking those ways?

    ReplyDelete
  3. Can't make that work though...

    ReplyDelete
  4. @Ellie Could be. Will give it a go...

There are 9 letters, but L is repeated.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Right @mk! Sorry! I tried walking on the keyboard many ways, counting keys, starting from the first letter moving to the second, or always starting from M just to get the directions etc, but always end up outside the grid.

    ReplyDelete
  6. If it didn't seem so obvious that we need to start with M...I wanted to go column by column (walking down) to grab the letters that the LXQ... are to the right of, but that doesn't get us anywhere.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Translating the letters to numbers and using them as coordinates takes me nowhere.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Also tried using LXQ... number equivalents on num pad to see if they would get us directions
    (e.g. X=24=SE), but no.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Thank you so much Edgar and Ellie for your help. I'll try to solve it now.

    ReplyDelete
  10. At least I got a "word" (rematched) walking in the grid like letter coordinates. For example, I made L=12, started walking 1 down, then 2 right to get C etc. When reaching the end of the grid I started again from the left side. Well, no good word from it.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Got a word from using Mishu's idea of using the numbers the letters are "walking down" from along the top of the keyboard to get directions and took the ones to the right of them. hypoxemia NOT THE ANSWER lol...of course! It seemed so perfect!

    ReplyDelete
  12. That seemed perfect indeed @mk!! It's a great method which makes perfect sense and a good word. It should work!!

    ReplyDelete
  13. @Pakkapong aka IAGT left a hint on Nord

    "Walking Down? From Where?
Looking Right? Where? Maybe where you walking down..."

    ReplyDelete
  14. Well, that makes sense using the method you just did... walking down from numbers, looking right where you end up.

    ReplyDelete
  15. hmm...did a similar thing but thinking about a compass. Like if I went NW and was facing NW looking to my right I'd be looking at N and got s*x champs. LOL! Pretty sure that's not it.

    ReplyDelete
  16. CLEARLY, we start at M right?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Hi all! Joining you at 67 now.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Hi @Edgar! Welcome to the "stuck again?" party! :)

    ReplyDelete
  19. lol @mk, you know? Your solution seems a very good one. I just tried to use the amount of keys "going down" as number of steps to move in the grid with the numberpad directions, but didn't work...

    ReplyDelete
  20. Well if I look at the numbers to the right of the numbers the letters are walking down from and take the letters beneath them I get potpie pew...:s

    ReplyDelete
  21. ke******? looks like a great idea :)

    ReplyDelete
  22. Thank you @Pakkapong! Will keep working it out.
Nice to know we're on a good track.

Let me know if any of my comments spoil too much and I can delete them. :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. Another Hint :
If you do it (67) correctly the fifth letter you should take is "N". (Including the first yellow letter)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Got it!!! I used the way Edgar suggested, but forgot about walking right... we did that already picking directions.

    ReplyDelete
  25. hmm...using M, my 5th is N, but still no word. Rechecking now...

    @Ellie Congrats! Well done! :)

    ReplyDelete
  26. Sweet! Got it! Thanks everyone! :D

    ReplyDelete
  27. Great @mk!! Now, in 68 I see lines from at least 6 films (7 if using the text between the lvls)... what to do??

    ReplyDelete
  28. uh oh...didn't look between the levels...I have 6. Not first letters of movies so far. Maybe characters who said them?

    ReplyDelete
  29. hahahahaha! How did I miss that??? Went back and got it. Yes, 7 films. :P

    ReplyDelete
  30. I found a list with all the quotes, and now have all possible info (I think) but nothing good from it yet. Started by trying to convert the order on the list to letters, got "calmsk" maybe with an H as well (between lvls). Moving on...

    ReplyDelete
  31. Not enough vowels from the names of characters...

    ReplyDelete
  32. okay, I'm there with you and wrote down all #s characters and films...

I think we definitely need the between levels text.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Yes, same with films. How about actors?

    ReplyDelete
  34. That one is pretty well hidden. I wonder if we're missing any.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Aha! Found another one. Keep looking!!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Hi again. I can post!! LOL

So, my idea helped solving 67! Nice, but... argh!!! I never added the initial M!! So very S******!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Thanks @mk!! Found it too.

    ReplyDelete
  38. @Edgar Yes and thank you!

@Ellie The best letters I have are from the actors, but I don't think that's right. Not getting anything.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I have 8 movie quotes so far. Missing any?

    ReplyDelete
  40. Well, I have 8 including the between levels one, but don't know what to do now.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Im just as lost as you1 I have them all unless missing some.No titles, characters, films, rankingscore...

    ReplyDelete
  42. It's hard to know what we need for 68.

The martini quote would give many titles and actors, so maybe it's about characters, but again, the force one has been used for many of them in the series...

    ReplyDelete
  43. Also reading on under the list on it's wiki hoping that there is something different about these 8. Some but not all. hmm...

    ReplyDelete
  44. OKay, I'll be back later. Grocery shopping must commence! :D

    Good luck!!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. here again...i think that i'm getting stupid.
i'm stuck at lvl 6, i know that i have to use a codepad
    789
    456
    123
    but i don't understand how...

    ReplyDelete
  46. @Borgy, use the numbers in the level to draw lines in the codepad. You should see letters.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I have the 9 movies: 1 between the pics,
3 vicible in pic, 1 extra uf you use notepad in the pic), 1 in the text below the pic,
3 more in the source. Four from source (but one is used in pic too)

    ReplyDelete
  48. Well, for level 68. The quotes on the left pillar and in the "note" feature are the trickiest to find. My list of movies is up to 9 now, but still not getting any brilliant idea about what to do with them.

    ReplyDelete
  49. @edgar: i was drawing points, not lines....it didn't make any sense. i'm getting stupid, it's official...

    ReplyDelete
  50. lol borgy, there's no such thing like stupidity. it's just different ways of thinking. ...and where/who have I heard that from before? ...and how many times??
And about brilliance? It's only luck to hit the right thing most of the times. You'll do fine, I'm sure.

    ReplyDelete
  51. So, now we have 9 movies. Who buys popcorns and soda?

    ReplyDelete
  52. not getting an anagram for level 66 got boilail

    ReplyDelete
  53. Cant find my notes for 66 right now, but only one letter is wrong @big, you have an I too much, it should be something else. Recheck!

    ReplyDelete
  54. re checked still get the same letters

    ReplyDelete
  55. Ok, notes here now... you need to look at the second flower from bottom. It's a G******a

    ReplyDelete
  56. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  57. tried l.....a but not working

    ReplyDelete
  58. LOL @bigtank, it sounds as you got it now... You do have the correct flowers, just pick the good letters, anagram and use what you get to get another word as pw.

    ReplyDelete
  59. looking at your comments for 67 , can not get any clear hints from them

    ReplyDelete
  60. I'm back to the game now.
hi @bigtank! You know? Were I the author I would have given slight different clues for 67... like, "going up" and "looking left" in your keyboard, from the letters at the bottom of the pic to the numerical keys on top. Make notes of what number each letter leads you and the amount of steps to reach each number. Then number pad for directions.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Hmm... it's been told we should have 10 films, but don't know how to pick my missing one!

    ReplyDelete
  62. It cannot be O-Negative... ARGH!! Stuck!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Hello @Ruff!!
    Are you trying 68 now?

    ReplyDelete
  64. Hi @edgar. Working on 68.

    ReplyDelete
  65. @edgar, just found info for 5 quotes.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Something we might need to solve it? IMBD?
BTW, have you found all of the 10 films?

    ReplyDelete
  67. @edgar, I've been working on 68 for maybe 10 minutes. Found only 5 films. Where did you get 10 films?

    ReplyDelete
  68. Oh, I think I'm into something now!

    ReplyDelete
  69. Ruff, Ellie posted some of their location.

1 in-between the levels, where you re-enter the previous answer to come to the next one.
3 written in the pic and 1 under it.
    1 the page title.
    1 in "note" feature
    2 in the source

    ReplyDelete
  70. I've only found 9 of the supposedly 10 there should be...

    ReplyDelete
  71. Hmmm, I just figured the password by bruteforcing the 10th film, but I don't want to enter it. I want to see it wherever it is.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I guess I should move on... can't find the darn thing!

My initial hint for 68 would be AFIs

    ReplyDelete
  73. @Ruff, I really need help with level 69!

    ReplyDelete
  74. I wish I could help @edgar but I have not found the 10th yet.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Well, I guess I should go back to help you with that search.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I might have found the 10th

    ReplyDelete
  77. @Ruff, scary thought. I read in Nord about the 10th film and the PW is 10 letters long indeed, but... what if they did the same as I did and the author forgot to add it?

    ReplyDelete
  78. @edgar, with all these films, what do I do next?

    ReplyDelete
  79. @Ruff, we lost lots of time searching for years, titles, actors, characters... when all you need is the quotes themselves!

    hintrankshint

    ReplyDelete
  80. So, where is that 10th film?

    ReplyDelete
  81. Then my 10th is wrong because it's silent.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I don't get you. Where did you see that?

    ReplyDelete
  83. @edgar, pls check your inbox.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Ok, silly me. I think i get you now...

    ReplyDelete
  85. @Ruff, you know? That text we can see after solving a level? The one with the "reach for the stars..." It's the lyrics of a movie soundtrack. That got me into a wrong track for a long time, lol!

    ReplyDelete
  86. lol, @edgar, that warning should be attractive enough to get more attention.

    ReplyDelete
  87. lol @Ruff, you think so? I considered adding "...or else!" :P

    ReplyDelete
  88. @edgar, that's perfect; I like it!

    ReplyDelete
  89. Oh, so I did the right thing before, just missed the last film at the end. Good universal anagram solver takes a ? as a letter. I wonder about that last film!
    On 69 now, thanks @Edgar!

    ReplyDelete
  90. Welcome back Ellie!
Level 69 looks like a tough one to solve (again). My first thought is that we need to "correct" the rows? Maybe by translating the clue in different languages? Well, initial ideas are often the wrong ones...

    ReplyDelete
  91. I'm working on the translation based on title hint.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Translated the letters and found some new ones, but not good enough. Could spell "vrijman" lol. New try...

    ReplyDelete
  93. Can't find anything meaningful. I think I should leave it for tomorrow!

    ReplyDelete
  94. ok @ruff. See you!

and a quick "ARGH!" I wish I could know which of my letters are correct!

    ReplyDelete
  95. Finally solved level 69.

'Hello?' clue is good to know where to move. The trickiest part is to include also the spaces for the key with no letters at all (it's not 0).

    ReplyDelete
  96. Thanks @Edgar! I had the other letters, but wouldn't have thought of using space as anything else than 0. Not my favorite lvl. Well done! 70 now.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Another clue to make lvl 69 look better... get the translation from using "hello" as a hint, but when working with what you got... look down instead.

    ReplyDelete
  98. I'll stay at lvl 70 for tonight. Getting late! See you tomorrow!

    ReplyDelete
  99. That's it for me too. I know I won't solve anything else tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  100. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  101. @e.
"vanice" should work. PW is 5-word long. Watch your spelling.

...or must I say, your misspelling?

    ReplyDelete
  102. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  103. whoops.. maybe i'm stuck at 46-2?? when i enter "a......" i get "From??? (Venice)" but the picture doesn't change. so, do i need to figure out where the merchant is from before moving on to 46-3? i guess i've already tried to find that too, but it was mentioned as Venice only.

    ReplyDelete
  104. @e.nohpesrep, I went there and tried and it seems the spelling mistake has been corrected. Not vanice anymore. Still 5 words, and no e on moor.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Ah... yes, it seems you were stuck on the part before. Glad you found out!

    ReplyDelete
  106. thanks @Ellie! can't believe how i got myself so stuck there, lol. maybe i should clean my comments now.

    ReplyDelete
  107. good morning! So for 68 am I using ranks and A=1,27 52? Will try it.

    ReplyDelete
  108. now i have a problem with 51. I set the rotors (also the initial positions) to "12-9-5" (as LIE), plugboard to "C" as in the source. I don't really know what to input for Rotor type. I just get nonsense with what i've been trying.

How should i set the machine?

    ReplyDelete
  109. That's right @mk! Never found the 10th one, but adding a ? in the anagram solver helped.

@e.nohpesrep, I don't have the possibility to try lvl 51 again right now, but if I remember it correctly you don't need to go to any specific settings. Just change the rotors in the machine itself (up and down arrows) to write the word there, then start clicking the keys on the machine keyboard.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Hi @e.nohpesrep :) Don't mess with anything else, just the rotors to LIE. This is the easiest one

    http://homepages.tesco.net/~andycarlson/enigma/enigma_j.html

Just click the letters on top to change them to LIE and start typing with the grey letters on the machine. First word should be "using"

    ReplyDelete
  111. Hi @Ellie! Could you check my letters then?

    ReplyDelete
  112. thanks a lot @Ellie and @mkganda!!

    ReplyDelete
  113. nvm got it. lol...was using A=52,78...not A=53,79

    woops.

    ReplyDelete
  114. @e.nohpesrep You're welcome!! :)

    ReplyDelete
  115. hmm...I don't get how to use "hello?" to translate this. Is it languages or numbers?

    ReplyDelete
  116. wait...maybe I get it...

    ReplyDelete
  117. VERY clever! Loved that one, actually. :)

    ReplyDelete
  118. Sorry @mk, had to leave for a while. It seems I'm never here when you ask me for help... well, glad you got it anyway!

    Yw @e.nohpesrep!

    ReplyDelete
  119. @Ellie It's a time zone thing lol. I'm just waking up.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Yep @mk... I'm not a big fan of time zones, but not much to do about it.

Can't look at the game right now, just refreshing comments lol, so still didn't get anywhere on lvl 70. In a few hours...!

    ReplyDelete
  121. anyone still around? i could need some help with level 38 (chinese zodiac symbol and pen).

I've read several comments about the p..p.. cipher, but all I can find is a translation into geometrical symbols.

And then there's the mention of version 2 and 3 of p..p.., but I am absolutely stuck there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    ReplyDelete
  122. taking kids to school...bbl

    ReplyDelete
  123. @Rudi, first, you need to use the letters you see in the picture to find symbols.
As far as I remember, if you draw a line between the letters in the first row you will find that they look like a "C", then there is a dot after.
That symbol (c with a dot) equals a letter in the cipher you are already looking at, for example "O" or "L" (looking at two different versions). I don't have my notes here so I can't tell you which letter is the correct one. We mentioned version #2 is the correct one, but that was from the Purplehell site which no longer works. Try to google the cipher and look at different versions, for example in top row there can be ABC or ACE etc.
Ask again if you don't get it and I or someone else will help better.

    ReplyDelete
  124. o.k., have tried tracing the letters on my keyboard (taking the dots as what they are in the p..p.. c....r), but the result is still gibberish and leads to no anagram whatsoever...

would it be o.k to post my resulting letters and see where I made a mistake?

    ReplyDelete
  125. could anyone check my letters for 54 please? i got "dltrmkur", or alternatively "tlutikhp".

Gonna try to check the moves and counting again. By the way, I apply 5th move to P, and 3rd move (-5) to U, and so on, rihgt? My alternative was to rearrange p......e according to the finale numbers and apply 1st move to O, 8th move to L, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  126. @Rudi, its ok to post your letters and if they are too close to the answer you can delete the comment later. I'm sorry, but I wont be able to check the correct pw for a few hours but maybe someone else can do it before I can.

    ReplyDelete
  127. @e.nohpesrep, forget about the Finale numbers, I think those were just to check you are in the correct game or something (don't remember but I dont think i used them). Don't rearrange p*******. Use the first number with P etc. The first letter you get should be a U. I think there still is a mistake in the 3rd letter. It should be an L (not a T as you will get).

    ReplyDelete
  128. @Ellie, I found the first p..p.. with ABC in the first row, which gives me: OAMDRG, obviously wrong. Then I found one with CBA in the first row, which gives me: UCQDTE, same result...

    Thanks for the help!

Am I correct that the symbols are all from the first and second grid? That is no v-like or caret-like cipher?

    ReplyDelete
  129. @Rudi... don't remember without my notes, but I think there might have been a V-shape somewhere. Don't forget to use with/without dots. I'll check your letters later on.

    ReplyDelete
  130. thanks a lot @Ellie!! :) never thought about that option.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Okay, I'm back for a while now.

@Rudi I'm going back to 38 now to see how I can help. I can't access your profile, but my email is on mine, so if you email me I can email you back. :)

    ReplyDelete
  132. @Rudi The first image on this page is the correct cipher for 38 and anagram results. Let me know if you need more help. :)

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pigpen_cipher

    ReplyDelete
  133. @mkganda: you got mail :-)

    ReplyDelete
  134. On level 69. Have I to convert the letters into numbers according to mobile phone? Then have to correct any mistake?

    ReplyDelete
  135. I think "connect me" is important, but connecting it and then what? lol...this one doesn't seem as though it should be a tough one, but these new levels are definitely a bigger challenge.

    ReplyDelete
  136. @faltu convert letters to numbers according to your phone, yes. Add the #1 to all spaces and then look down. (use your k*****d) ;)

    ReplyDelete
  137. Also, @Rudi got back to you. :)

    ReplyDelete
  138. @mkgand yes, on to 39! Thanks a lot!

    ReplyDelete
  139. I've converted them but cannot understand how to pick up letters from k******d. For 2 there are three letters w, s and x, have to choose among them?

    ReplyDelete
  140. @faltu, this level is not about picking, but about drawing lines between the numbers to "see" letters.

    ReplyDelete
  141. 39 was a walk in the park, but 40... me, my math and mc², speaks for endless hours of fun to come.

    ReplyDelete
  142. Thank you very much mkganda, I was so stupid.

    ReplyDelete
  143. @faltu you're very welcome :)

    ReplyDelete
  144. @Rudi lol...looking at my password list for 40 and 41 and going...wth??? hahaha! Will go back and help if you need it, but I shortchanged myself on keeping notes for them so I may not be much use to you. :s

    ReplyDelete
  145. Hi evryone, I stuck at level 56. I put s****.x** in u** but get this: "This file in your language is not yet available" there is other way to get the story?

    ReplyDelete
  146. @mkganda, I am still pondering what the first set of numbers is for (tried multiplication with the second set and then the other mathematical operations), but that seems to be the wrong approach.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Thank you Ellie.

Now on 70. Have to connect 1's, 2's separately and then find the survivors?

    ReplyDelete
  148. Okay @Rudi, going there now. Just a sec...

    ReplyDelete
  149. @faltu not sure yet, I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  150. @mkganda thanks, trying to integrat the information from the s....., but that leads me to the 1999 Tokaimura accident, probably a dead end.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Thank you mkganda. Do I get a word or a sentance?

    ReplyDelete
  152. @Aliza You're welcome :) You'll see a sentence. Your first word will be "answer"

    ReplyDelete
  153. @mkganda, got the procedure, pulling up a spreadsheet now, too lazy to do it by hand ;-) thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  154. @mkganda lazyness pays :-) on to 41 now!

    ReplyDelete
  155. What if we have to figure out the correct color order to connect numbers 1-9 and take all the letters that don't get crossed out? Just a thought...

    ReplyDelete
  156. got these letters for level 36......plz advise!!!
    anotymdeu.......

    ReplyDelete
  157. and after watching a nice little movie on to 42...

    ReplyDelete
  158. @ronnie It's almost right. Recheck your 4th letter and the last 3 as well.

    ReplyDelete
  159. There are 3 of each #...hmm...

  160. and 42, got the shiny solution :-)

  161. I can't think of any good way to connect things in lvl 70. I tried drawing lines between numbers of the same kind and the letters left out at the end were: sniuv. I tried to connect the alphabet, and also to write white and survivor, but nothing of that feels like the right way to solve this. Need an idea...

  162. 43 was a nice one... now i have to clean my monitor from all the felt pen dots :-)

    ReplyDelete
  165. I'm stuck, again. This time the prob is lvl 19, with morse code. I've opened source and I change number orders and I try to understand what letter "translate" from the picture, but I obtained 5 letter that aren't the password!!! Help!

  166. Okay, I'm here again. Anyone else playing with 70 atm?

    ReplyDelete
  167. Whoa! What happened to everybody's comments?

    ReplyDelete
  168. What happened to the comments? who delete them and why?

I still need help for level 56. I see just the first two words but not the answer.

    ReplyDelete
  169. oh my was going to start again at level 67 tonight but i can see someone is not happy with our comments, may give it a miss

  170. Must have been a mistake! Maybe they will be back later on! Did we say anything important? I doubt I did. Read your mail @mk and will think of it.

    ReplyDelete
  171. Same on a lot of other games mkganda.
(Btw congrats to you all on making such great progress here).

Seems like the blog administrator is very angry at us. I wonder why.

    ReplyDelete
  172. or maybe the database is falling apart :-)

    ReplyDelete
  173. @bigtank Hi! I can't see why? Offensive?

    ReplyDelete
  174. is it just me or is the riddle server down?

    ReplyDelete
  175. Aliza, did you get the text file for 56? If you did, you need to change the dimensions of the text so that you can read a sentence in the letters of the left edge of the row, going up to down.

@Borgy, here is a picture of the changed columns in lvl 19 http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb377/Elliekamel/Pics/piclvl19.jpg
You should get morse from each row. The first row is dash dot dash dot... looking at the red parts.
the second row is split into two letters (the first if them is R)
Get 5 letters this way, no anagram.

@bigtank, Im sure its a technical mistake when so many comments disappears from many games. It has nothing to do with us, so just keep playing :)

  176. Hi @small-tool!!! Haven't played with you in a long time! Wish you would join us.

    ReplyDelete
  177. This is scary.
More and more comments keep disappearing.

    ReplyDelete
  178. it's back again for me, temporary hickup? on to 46 now,, there was one more step after finding the correct cards in 45

    ReplyDelete
  179. Hm, so I can pick the colors, but not chance them. Need to think a while lol.

    ReplyDelete
  180. Now I have "matching colors" in three pairs. Will try to draw some lines.

    ReplyDelete
  181. HM... except I can't see how to do that practically on the pic.
