  55. with maths from tv i got a 7numbers code and i need a 6 numbers code....

    ReplyDelete
  57. Thanks SM.
So we have to find another crystal.

    ReplyDelete
  58. the equation gives a 7 digit code ???

    ReplyDelete
  59. @ALovingDaddy , yes yellow is 6 for me too, sorry....

    ReplyDelete
  60. well nothing happens if I put the cristals in

    ReplyDelete
  61. i tried switching colors (from help clue, green --> blue, yellow --> green...) but it gives 7 numbers too ....

    ReplyDelete
  62. the equation is always a 7 digit number... also if i change the numbers following the HELP-hint from the wall... what am i doing wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  63. Yep. Pretty sure author messed up on the code. I've done it many times and continue to come up with a 7 digit code.

    ReplyDelete
  64. nbnation - what happened when you put the cristals in?? - mine dont work

roberto - i listed the places of the cristals further up

    ReplyDelete
  65. swissmiss go look at painting .....and get more confused

    ReplyDelete
  66. all combinations give me also 7 digits...

    ReplyDelete
  67. swiss, when crystals are ok painting above bed moves and gives clue (color/numbers)

    ReplyDelete
  68. SwissMiss, did you look at the picture on the wall above the beds? It should move if you put the crystals in correctly.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Found them all Thanks.
    Stuck in code as well.

    ReplyDelete
  70. had to restart pressed wrong button..thanks swiss miss..found the candle..lol

    ReplyDelete
  71. what about the word HELP and why is it written:
    H∙E∙L∙P

    ReplyDelete
  72. the order of the colours from picture differ from the candles, is there anything in that?
    piCture =
    G
    Y B
    R

    CANDLES =
    y
    r b
    g

    ReplyDelete
  73. did the math and get 7 digits too - both ways

    ReplyDelete
  74. if g 8, y 6, b 4 and r 7 or
    changing acc. help
    i.e.

    g 4, y 8, r 6 and b 8

    ReplyDelete
  75. same as you with the math : 7 numbers

    ReplyDelete
  76. have to leave - cu later folks

    ReplyDelete
  77. i added 2. number and 3. number and substracted 1. number, got 6 digit code.....
    doesn't work

    ReplyDelete
  78. that doesnt make any sense... i looked all over for another hint... nothing... i treat the author an intense coffee to review the game :o) i'll give up

    ReplyDelete
  79. If you look the world H.E.L.P, under each letter and point is a color, Is that a hint ??

    ReplyDelete
  80. Sorry peeps but I'm out of here til someone can solve this. Yep...I'm wimping out on you. I can only come up with 7 digits and am not gonna waiste all day on one game. Good luck to you all.

    ReplyDelete
  81. 2 cristals, a lighter, a boxcutter and a spoon. I don't find a place for the cristals and there is no hotspot on the washbasin handles, nor on the wall of the shower.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I havent tested this theory yet but could the HELP arrows be a directional hint for the order in which we do computations and or order of numbers? Also, why the 4-color hints in different orders if we arent supposed to apply them somehow?

    ReplyDelete
  83. Well, I found the place for the cristals, but I have only 2 of them.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Pascale, see SwissMiss comment for crystals http://www.escapegames24.com/2011/02/mystery-hotel-escape-walkthrough.html#comment-6871860817341442399

  85. got 3 gems, I think the 4th one is on the right faucet, but cant get it, still cant find the spoon. Help please

    ReplyDelete
  86. nvm find the spoon and got the 4th gem thanks

    ReplyDelete
  87. It is not quite 5 am and I am having difficulty concentrating - have not actually completed computations - still futzing with how the arrows might apply to the formula or the values of the color variables. If I figure it out I will post

    ReplyDelete
  88. i,m out cant work numbers

    ReplyDelete
  89. We had to use the spoon on the right faucet of the washingbasin but there was no hotspot !!! And what about the wall of the shower ?

    ReplyDelete
  90. This reminds me of Cat people puzzle although this hint is better. Still solution eludes me while the puzzle captivates me and i wont be able to let it go. Hate that. Tried using arrow hint to use only portions of the formula 9eg R in second row x yellow in second row for H; Blue in second row + Green in 3rd row etc) but is looking like another 7 digit code.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Thank you, CrowsCountCoup, I saw this message, but it doesn't help much to find invisible hotspots )-:

    ReplyDelete
  92. What does the #7 on the shirt mean??

    ReplyDelete
  93. I have to go. Todays games were disappointing.

    ReplyDelete
  94. You can rule this out:
Using my weird logic I came up with H=54, E=12, L=48, P=4 (based on RxY=54, B+G=12, etc) and multiplied - interpreting the dot between each letter as math symbol. Came up with 124,416 which did not work.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Huskies , I wondered about that too and there is a candle holder for a 5th candle hidden behind the yellow, but I saw no other hints to link either with anything

    ReplyDelete
  96. 886644 - (6 x 8 x 8 x 8 ) + 668484 = 215088

    ReplyDelete
  97. ccc, you're very clever, never saw the 5. candleholder

    ReplyDelete
  98. Yes, I saw that and in the mirror it looks like a short GREEN candle...

    ReplyDelete
  99. Did not work: 331776 and 254016 (the latter applied a 5 digit solution by the 7 on the shirt)

    ReplyDelete
  100. Kudos Eskiz !! Thanks bunches. I'm going back to bed now :-)

    ReplyDelete
  101. OK: From under the HELP... I get it now!
    R=6, B=8, G=4, Y=8

    ReplyDelete
  102. 886644 - (6 x 8 x 8 x 8 ) + 668484 = 215088 ??????

    (6x8x8x8)=3072
    886644-3072+668484=1552056

    ReplyDelete
  103. red-yellow
    blue-green
    yellow-green
    green-blue

    YBRRGG - (R*Y*B*Y) + RRBGYG
    886644 - 6*8*8*8 + 668484 = 215088

    ReplyDelete
  104. roberto: 886644 - [(6x8x8x8) + 668484] = 215088

    ReplyDelete
  105. Oh, I see your point, roberto So much for sleep. The code works but how does one figure it out? I had been applying the arrows in the other direction (yellow became red's # instead of visa versa) at first but got stumped when 2 colors became same number. If that does not work then Im not seeing it.

    ReplyDelete
  106. @ MuckyPuppy
    Don´t understand yet.
Why did you put last 2 groups into brackets?

    ReplyDelete
  107. The equation is OK. But the result is wrong.
Never get 215088 doing the math.

    ReplyDelete
  108. I am always a day late and dollar short . A few comments short anyway. The problem is the placement of the () - you are supposed to calculate whatever is within the () first , then * and /, the + and - so roberto correctly applied the formula. Unless I have forgotten basic rule of operation which is entirely possible - do you apply addition before subtraction? I thought you went in order of the operands for + and -. At any rate I am content just seeing how the figure was derived and am glad you explained .

    ReplyDelete
  109. first solve what´s inside parenthesis and after + and -
    order no matters.
    So
    YBRRGG - (R*Y*B*Y) + RRBGYG
    886644 - (6*8*8*8) + 668484 = ?

    886644 - 3072 + 668484 = 1552056

Don´t know where 215088 came from.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Hello guys, where's the washbasin? I can only see the toilet and the shower in the bathroom.

    ReplyDelete
  111. yes @Eskiz... hero of the day :D
but there should really be brackets, bc when we doing the math right it would never come to this equation...
    thanks for saving \o/

    ReplyDelete
  112. @Valerie: i see your comment after closing the game, but you have to click at several places in the bathroom, there are hotspots at the left up and down... click everywhere, you'll find it ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  113. @roberto: 886644-(3072+668484)=215088

    ReplyDelete
  114. Yay, I got it! Thanks Sabine. :)

    ReplyDelete
  115. Oh, thank God for these clues!

    ReplyDelete
  116. All players,
Note that the last "+" sign in the equation on the TV should actually be a "-" (minus) sign; otherwise, like many of the posters here, you'll get stuck with a 7-digit number for the door code.... One little thing that frustrated many payers/posters and got me to give this game a "1" rating, even though the rest of the challenges were pretty good....

    ReplyDelete
  117. Can someone please help with the placement of the purple crystals?
    nbnation's hint is too vague.
    please use a grid like;

    OOOOO
    OOOOO
    OOOOO
    OOOOO
    OOOOO

put X's where the pieces go.

    Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  118. @Upnatm :
    oxooo
    ooooo
    xooxo
    ooxoo

    ReplyDelete
  119. The sign error is sad and really spoiled the game...

    ReplyDelete
  120. I think someone needs to learn the fundamentals of mathematics before making a game.

    ReplyDelete
  121. @shannon, absolutely right! waste of energy and time lol!

  123. in (1,2), 1 is x, and that is the horizontal (axis), 2 is the y value, which is the vertical(ordinate). ANd it starts from bottom left, not from top left.

Not to mention the horrific calculation clue on TV

Ideas were good, clues were horrible. Not only the calculations but many other clues. How did we use the H.E.L.P clue, only to change both tabs green, which was our only chance, by the way.

And much too pixel hunting for my liking. Sorry
    Good try, though!

    ReplyDelete
  124. I give up! I have three crystals and I have clicked EVERY tile in the shower - up left, right down everywhere. I can NOT find the 4th crystal.
    :((
(I haven't even started with the hideous maths yet!)

    ReplyDelete
  125. for crystal in shower look at wall with handles and shower head on it ... top left tile is row 1 column 1 ... click on tile row 3 (down) column 2 (right) both my handles on the shower were green so I don't know if that had anything to do with being able to find that crystal

    ReplyDelete
  126. Well this made me Insane ! XD I actually didn't understand what you'd say XDD

    ReplyDelete
  127. Haha COOL ! I escaped without any hard work , I just put the answer on the door which is "215088" XDD

thanks to that ROBERTO !! XD :D

    ReplyDelete
  128. The equation is wrong. Change the "plus" sign to "minus".
