ReplyDelete@Leroy: I took the water from the moat at the castle entrance, that's 2 hours less of traveling.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm stuck at the dragon. I got undistilled pee from the litter but I can't get past the dragon: Asleep it eats me, awake through the onion it burns me. I guess I missed something before travelling through the swamp. Did you notice that you could get a second job in the town center? You need to shut up the crier somehow. Also, at the magic shop there's this haste rool to buy which you could afford after doing a second job. Finally, the guard at the castle entrance points out that you cannot enter untill the clock on the wall(! not your own clock) shows 22:00. I think there's some time to be saved by doing some tasks...
But I don't want to look at the walkthrough, I like the whole Monkey-Island-like story style too much. :)

ReplyDeleteTried the haste scroll: Used on yourself it's forwarding time in a deadly speed. Maybe that's something for the dragon. Used on the clock at the castle entrance it forwards time +2 hours.
ReplyDelete@udun Thanks for that. Guess I got bored with winding back the clock so many times. I used water from the mop and did wonder about there being 2 jobs to do.
ReplyDelete@leroy: The mop is even better as you save the time for travelling back and forth! Escape the prison, go to town, do a job to get the money and wet the mop in the fountain - this way you have all ingredients with you already when you talk to the wizard the first time. I'm through now - but I did have to look into the walkthrough for one very important step.

ReplyDeleteto pass the dragon just get two dragon's pee (use your cantee first and then use your mop to get another one) and use one of them on yourself, then you can pass the dragon because it can't smell you xD
