ReplyDeleteI've refreshed about 10 times and all I get is a link to a very-good-looking game from 2009 called "Lights"
ReplyDeletehow do you know what colours to put in the shapes on pc?
ReplyDeleteFinally! not sure how I got it.
ReplyDeleteVery nice -- I didn't realize you could interact with the computer screen -- was looking all over for another safe! lol
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nini xD for the game and the hints!
Now I'm going to play Lights
@BIG J
ReplyDeleteWith lights turned off, you have to note down where the shapes are located and then turn the lights back on and determine the colors of the objects you memorized.
Simple, eh? ... NOT! I'd never dare call it simple if you need to make extra notes. (Yes I had too)
Where is the symbol's clues for the clock? I mean, I see the keyboard, but the only symbol I found was in the garbage can with the 3 points to #. Blonde today here....
ReplyDeleteTried putting in the 16:54, but I guess I have to actually see the clue first. I'm sure I'll feel like an idiot if I ever find it.... :)
ReplyDeletePOP, duh, it helps to cut the computer on, doesn't it? LOL
ReplyDeleteOops! Haha, the ending gave me a giggle.
ReplyDeleteType "Walkthrough" for this game into google, and you probably get sent here [to EG24].
People will soon get fed up with coming here and finding no walkthroughs, eh?
To make that not a complete falsehood for at least this game, here's my offering:
The game itself looks like a narrow banner at the top of the window. It says:
"Neutral
My own flash games."
[That did confuse me for a moment].
Just mouse over the sides of that window and you see directional arrows.
Notice that your cursor changes over hotspots, and explore this screen for a bit, but nothing here to get or accomplish yet.
Go left.
Lift the mat and get a blue key.
See the mirror requires a screwdriver.
Lift the standard lamp and find a coin [tiny grey dot].
Go left.
Several hotspots here, but the one not to miss is to click the seat cushion on the orange stool to find a second coin.
Go left.
Click the red door to see a sleepy chick "zizzing" away happily =)
Use the blue key on the blue door, then click the door again to open it and get a floppy disk.
The dusky blue box on top of this set of small cupboards [with three coloured buttons] is a clock, but you can't tell that yet.
Click both the tee-shirts to the right and get the trowel that was hanging behind the orange one.
The table lamp moves, and the brown cupboard doors open, but all you can do for now is plop the two coins into the one-armed-bandit in the lower left side.
Left again and you can use your new trowel on the compost in the plant to get the third coin.
Go right and put all the coins into the machine and click the handle..
You've bought a battery.
This goes into the dusky blue clock thing, so click that three times to zoom in, turn the clock, then open the battery compartment.
Place the battery, close the compartment and turn the clock around again.
Notice that the yellow button changes the hour display, the pink button changes the minutes, while the pale blue button does seemingly nothing.
Back out.
Go right. Zoom once in on the laptop, then click the right side to get a corner view. Put the floppy disk into the front slot, then click the power button [right end] and back out [screen lights up].
Click the screen to zoom, then the folder on the desktop.[pass1.dat].
Note down or remember the sequence of symbols, then back out and click on the laptop's keyboard.
Use the scroll-right arrow to covert the sequence on the screen to numbers. This should be 4 didgits, with a colon between, like a digital clock display.
Back out and go left.
Use the yellow button to change the hours and the red to change minutes [note that the minutes go up two with each click!] then press the blue button to enter the code. [Spoiler below]
Wait for a little door on the side of the clock to open and give you a pale orange key.
[Continued in next comment]:
Part two
ReplyDeleteBack out and go left.
Use the key on the bottom drawer of the little orange cabinet and ge a screwdriver.
Go left, zoom in on the mirror and use the screwdriver.
Click to open it, click the switch and watch the world go dark.
Back out and see a diamond shape on the green part of that picture on the wall. Note this down or remember it, and be aware that the colour is important, and part of this hint!
Go left - triangle on blue
Left again - star on red and heart on black
Left - circle on white, and a tiny glowing green coin for you to have.
Go left, turn the light back on, then go left or right to get to the coin machine again.
Use the coin and get a USB flashdrive when you pull the handle.
Right turn and zoom in to the side of the laptop again.
Use the flash drive on the port and go up to the screen.
A new folder [pass2.swf] is there now, so open it and see 5 white shapes on a grey background.
Remember the colour that each shape was on and click these shapes until they are the colour of the background they were on.
[Spoiler below].
The shapes will vanish and a message appears - "Door Open!"
Back out and go left.
Open the little red door because that alarm is bound to have woken someone up, to find Tiny Chick is awake!
Scoop him up into your inventory and back out.
Go left or right twice and click the door.
No lovely garden, or rolling hills with trees full of blossom - just a ladder.
Sigh, click it, then the up arrows to climb up to the trapdoor at the top.
Hm. Something's blocking it.
Glare at Tiny Chick for a while, but he's saying nothing. He just stares blankly back.
You can clicmb down the ladder, race around the room until you're dizzy, click every pixel in the place until your mouse screams at you in hysterics and runs off into the cat's mouth, but it'll get you nowhere.
Just sit tight up the ladder and click away at the trapdoor with increasing frustration and violence until it at last bursts forth! [six clicks later, that's all! You thought it was thousands, too]
A plaintive tweeting sound alerts you to what you have just done, and you climb out, shame-faced.
A nest on its side and a whole family of chicks scattered away.
here's only one thing to do - sort these little guys out and get your end screen.
Shut the trapdoor, then pile the chicks up into it so they won't all be falling out again, so fattest first.
[The hotsopt cursor helps you find this out.]
[Come on, you can do it. This is nursery school stuff!]
Look at Tiny Chick's little face! You just CAN'T leave him out!
You just HAVE to put him on the top to make him happy, then you get your end screen, and your conscience is salved!
SPOILER
[Note that this won't work until you have found all the clues]
Clock code:
16:54
Shapes on laptop screen:
Triangle = blue
Circle = white
Heart = black
Star = red
Diamond = green
Apologies and excuses:
ReplyDeleteMy "T" key seems to be going wrong, and I thought I found them all in my walkthrough, but I've missed one or two. Sorry!
Probably won't cause much consternation, though [hopefully] ;)
