  2. Is anybody here? I rely on you pros for the hints when I'm stuck (and I'm stuck). I found a piece of folded up paper (clue), a sledge hammer, and a hook.

    ReplyDelete
  3. So far, a hook and a hammer.

    ReplyDelete
  4. there is a picture clue behind cabinet by fat duck but i cant make it work anywhere, where is hook?

    ReplyDelete
  5. Ok, so I found a clue hiding behind a cabinet -- it goes along with the folded up paper clue. I opened the locked door with vertical buttons, and got a hard pipe. Used my hammer on the hard pipe and turned it into a screwdriver. Opened another locked door and got a box of crayons

    ReplyDelete
  6. And in the box of crayons is a battery for the device with red, green, & blue up/down arrows

    ReplyDelete
  7. the hook was behind the chicken with goggles

    ReplyDelete
  8. my battery won't go in the box must need 2 ...the funny math must be for a number clue but I don't get it hehe

    ReplyDelete
  9. After reading note, combined with buildings picture to get a pipe.

    ReplyDelete
  10. lol, Erika was a few steps ahead of me!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Yea, I can't get my battery in either (yet...I was thinking you need 2 as well). And I can't figure out the math thing either

    ReplyDelete
  12. this is about the point in the game i give up and start looking for all the experts' posts :)

    ReplyDelete
  13. got number code from crayons and have stick.

    ReplyDelete
  14. got another battery after giving complete crayons to fat duck and using clue

    ReplyDelete
  15. Been trying to trace the lighted windows puzzle but just dont see it
    LOL

    ReplyDelete
  16. do you have any hints for the number thing hootie?

    ReplyDelete
  17. how to do that math I wonder ?? HOOTIE

    ReplyDelete
  18. leroy, if you found the note it tells you to go from right to left and which building lights to start with

    ReplyDelete
  19. @Leroy, I am also not getting it... but I have a glass of wine! makes being stuck so much better!

    ReplyDelete
  20. The letter clue in the case with the key is the same color of blue as the maze clue on the wall, but that gave me 11 letters for a 3-letter safe!

    ReplyDelete
  21. start with the tallest building, and input the light pattern starting with the right column first (i.e. in the vertical button strip, click the bottom button 1st and then the top button 2nd -- then move on to the other buildings' light patterns)

    ReplyDelete
  22. So the clue is the "step" note and not the across up and down one?

    ReplyDelete
  23. the math is just the circles in the numbers added

    ReplyDelete
  24. right...the step note is the one to use

    ReplyDelete
  25. @Erica thank you! got my pipe now!

and another glass of wine.... :)

    ReplyDelete
  26. circles in the numbers? have I missed a clue? I had 168 added doesn't work? maybe because 8+8=4 ?

    ReplyDelete
  27. i think wine is sounding like a good idea right about now!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Thanks, Hootie! I was trying to do things base 12 -- W-A-Y overthinking!

    ReplyDelete
  29. circles in the numbers! thanks for the hint Clee. got a brown stick

    ReplyDelete
  30. i'm not getting the color code or the letter code or if they have to do with each other

    ReplyDelete
  31. got the key from the water tank, gave crayons to fat duck, and used his footprints for the L/R combo box. got a blue key card for the tiara puzzle

    ReplyDelete
  32. Finally must be time to pour a vino LOL now trying codes from the crayons..

    ReplyDelete
  33. Hmm - I haven't got 2nd battery yet -- looking for a B-R-G clue after using card on tiara box.

    ReplyDelete
  34. @Leroy, yes! a vino makes it allllll better ;)

I am trying the crayon numbers and not getting it, but not really worried about it :D

    ReplyDelete
  35. Looks like we're all riding on Hootie's hints tonight! Battery box will probably give the BGR clue.

Need handle for exit door & 3-letter code

    ReplyDelete
  36. @Puzzled LOL I thought clocktime personally

    ReplyDelete
  37. Jo-ann - the 4 doesn't have a hole.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Well, I'm going to open a bottle of wine to join the party since my brain is getting nowhere on the puzzles! :)

    ReplyDelete
  39. had a phone call - but still stuck...got my vino too

    ReplyDelete
  40. anyone figure out the 3 letter clue yet?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Must clink glasses with all

    *clink*

still not getting the crayon number stuff.. would like to think I am overthinking it, but most likely am just too dense to get it

    ReplyDelete
  42. do you think that the letters should be laid out in alphabetical order following the path of the crazy line?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Another battery in the box that had the card.

    ReplyDelete
  44. hi joann, just count the number of circles you see in each equation (doesn't matter what they equal, the only numbers that matter are the ones you see). Like 8+8=4 (there's 4 circles that make up the two 8's)

    ReplyDelete
  45. @Dolan -- good find! i'm a lazy clicker i guess :)

    ReplyDelete
  46. @Dolan! Thanks. Thought I looked there several times!
    *clink* (cheers!)

    ReplyDelete
  47. @Erica oh my gosh! I was thinking that 8+8=16 and the square root of 16 is 4 so I was trying to come up with some equation for the others!

    thank you!

    ReplyDelete
  48. No problem, now just solve the next part for me :) Been stuck here for a while...

    ReplyDelete
  49. Have the color code, but can't get it to work.

    ReplyDelete
  50. So what do the arrows on the box mean?

    ReplyDelete
  51. got it. the arrows tell you whether to take the number either up or down. you get 123456.

    ReplyDelete
  52. do you mean like add/subtract?

    ReplyDelete
  53. Aaah I see now I have pretty tiara to put on my head LOL

    ReplyDelete
  54. If I remember right it give you
    Spoiler:

    ReplyDelete
  56. Pass the bottle I'm getting GOW for the 3 letters how do I count those 3 dots now hehe

    ReplyDelete
  57. Nicely spotted jbg....... Got happy end (check locked cabinet)

    ReplyDelete
  58. @clee use the blue line arrow hint on the letters. The one that goes around, up and down.

    ReplyDelete
  59. you trade the tiara with the duck who has goggles. apparently he has magic goggles to figure out the letter clue

    ReplyDelete
  60. Now I have vino glasses peering stupidly at alphabet clue....

    ReplyDelete
  61. @Leroy, sounds like you and I are in the same spot

    ReplyDelete
  62. Thanks JPG I did try your initials for the 3 letter box HAPPY END Phewwwww! thanks for the help these are good games but late at night for me to think right lol

    ReplyDelete
  63. yay, happy end! boy these games make me feel dumb :) glad I could finally catch you all in a live game (my 1st one...lots of fun!)

    ReplyDelete
  64. LOL Jo I got those 3 letters but the order is not coming to me....

    ReplyDelete
  65. What to do with final tool? Looks like tiara should go on short bird, but can't take it ...

    ReplyDelete
  66. @Joann, write out the alphabet according to the pattern you see hanging on the wall. Start with A, follow the pattern. Then look at it with your magic goggles -- hope that helps!

    ReplyDelete
  67. @Leroy, me too even tried the blue arrow clue and still nothing....

must be time for another glass of red wine

    ReplyDelete
  68. @PuzzledinCA, check the locked cabinet again that you open w/ the gold key

    ReplyDelete
  69. Ah, POP! hidden compartment in key-lock cupboard!

    Happy end. Yay!

    ReplyDelete
  70. when you guys write out the alphabet following the arrow's path (from picture on the wall), then look at it thru the goggles, are you just taking the same order that those pink dots appear if you were to follow the path of the arrow again starting from A?

    ReplyDelete
  71. @Erika, tried that....not sure what I am doing wrong

    ReplyDelete
  72. unrelated question to anyone -- does EG24 usually post live games around the same time each night? or is it just at totally random times throughout the day?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Imagine the letters placed in the order of the blue path -- across the top, then down the right, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  74. @JoAnn -- what letters do you keep coming up with?

    ReplyDelete
  75. @jpg -- Thanks for seeing the numbers as the ORDER in which to press the color keys (as well as what the arrows meant)!

    ReplyDelete
  76. the alphabet should be written (if you write it in the order following the path that's shown on the wall):

    ABCDE
    VUNMF
    WTOLG
    XSPKH
    YRQJI
    Z

    ReplyDelete
  77. @Erika, I have OWG

now I have to go back and double check lol

    ReplyDelete
  78. @PuzzledinCA -- agreed - i still don't get how jpg arrived at the solution, even though you're explaining it too...i'm too slow at 1am i think

    ReplyDelete
  79. Derr me finally gotcha LOL

    ReplyDelete
  80. @JoAnn -- you're still laying out the grid as:
    line 1: ABCDE
    line 2: FGHIJ
    line 3: KLMNO, etc

    line 1 should be: ABCDE
    line 2 should be: VUNMF
line 3 should be: WTOLG, etc

    ReplyDelete
  81. Finally happy end with chicks tweeting me LOL

    ReplyDelete
  82. Cmon Jo you can do it LOL

    ReplyDelete
  83. @Erika thank you again

I was putting the letters on left to right, then using the arrow clue to follow the letters rather then putting the arrows down in that pattern

    this game killed me!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Seriously, this game is out for me!

I put the handle in, stepped back and went around the room and now the handle is gone.

    can't leave

    ReplyDelete
  85. Ahhh found the way out... that little red X in the upper right corner. Yay!

    ReplyDelete
  86. btw, I'm working on a WT (with interruptions)
