ReplyDeletethats the black number - have not got the brown one yet
ReplyDeleteleroy first row 89 /974/817/29
ReplyDeletebrown number behind wheel on wagon
ReplyDeleteGradow outside ring got me LOL
ReplyDeletecome on... there are lots os combinations which satisfy the 'sudoku-y' puzzle, but only one works? sounds like luck to me
ReplyDeleteand out
ReplyDeleteGradow - it happened to me too but make sure there is not two of the same numbers in any row or line
ReplyDeletesolution given above
Hand drill goes on plane and out.
ReplyDelete@SwissMiss oh yeah, I had forgotten that detail... anyway, out.
ReplyDeleteGradow,
ReplyDeleteThe rule is; not the same numbers in a row or column.
arggh - didn't see the triangle at first. Out
ReplyDeleteWhy, oh why am I so bad at that type of number puzzles. Regular sudokus I can do anytime. Still, I finally got out.
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm pretty new to this. Can anyone tell me where to use the chisel?
ReplyDeleteNot sure anymore, but I think the chisel was used behind the headlight of the car.
ReplyDeleteYou're right. Thank you and out at last.

ReplyDeleteGame too small...won't let me zoom...won't bother to open these again!
ReplyDeleteGood one!!
ReplyDeleteSame here Nokra! The miserable spinning picture puzzle is impossible. From now on when I see these games posted, I will pass.
ReplyDeleteTo game developer: What reason do you have for disabling ZOOM?!?
Rats! -- have all except one piece. Need a hook which probably comes from the last # puzzle. From SM's note, I know I need to use planer on table, but can't find the place to do so. Only view I can find is the one with the wine bottles.
ReplyDeleteFor round rotating puzzle, I rotate the pieces to make a picture (in my case the rhino was standing on its head! So I rotated each piece 3 times to get it standing.) Then outer ring until the tool popped up.
ReplyDeleteThe picture puzzles are much less tricky than the Gamershood (ex-ROTUC) ones, which I almost always have to zoom to the max.
Here's how I did the kakuru/cross-sums ("sudoku") puzzle.
ReplyDeleteRules:
1 The digits in each row/column add up to the number to the left/top.
2 No duplicate digits in any row or column.
Step 1 - Identify unique combinations:
17=9+8
24=9+8+7
7=4+2+1
16=9+7
(sometimes these force a number, but not in this case)
Step 2 - Look for other forced digits.
In this case, the 7 and 20 crossing.
From 7, this can be 1,2, or 4.
From 20, we know this must be at least 3. (9+8+x)
So this must be 4.
So 20 = 4+9+7 (now unique)
This quickly gives you
89
974
x8--
xx--
Now look at the bottom line.
Because 16 = 9+7
this line is either 29 or 47
But there's already a 4 in the 7 column.
So the last line is 29.
And giving up unfinished -- no POP for me today. :(
ReplyDeletewhere is the rhino puzzle?
ReplyDeletewhy doesnt the 4 numbers on the wheel work...
ReplyDeleteOnly missing the brown code. The Hint I have is
ReplyDeletespoiler
Square, pentagon, circle, triangle already tried faces number (4,5,1,3)
/spoiler
poopsmcgee, there is two places to put your code! Brown numbers and black numbers
ReplyDeleteI cant find the places@@@1!
ReplyDeleteI've got the shapes clue, and thought it was counting the sides, but 4513 isn't working for me :(
ReplyDeletesame as you Rachel .....stuck....anyone ????
ReplyDeletei give up :( Gotta get into bed anyway.
ReplyDeleteStuck the same place as ting ting and ray.
ReplyDeleteRachel, Rusty, ting ting
ReplyDelete(so. else? ;-D)
the circle shape doesn't have any angle = 0
Brown number clue came using the lever on the cart wheel.
ReplyDeleteDOH! I was counting sides not angles.
ReplyDeleteThanks premiere
Complaints: A circle has 1 side, not 0. There are several solutions to the number puzzle unless you know about the "no duplicates" rule. The "hook or something" could be called a "hook" instead of a "weird tool". The rhino should have some clue about its proper orientation.
ReplyDeleteI'd settle for a puzzle every other day in exchange for a little elegance.
Finally a POP! (and go away, come back)
ReplyDeleteMove the bonsai to find place to use planer!
Black number clue: count the # of angles, not the number of sides! (so, circle = 0)
Puzzles are in the cabinet click on the keyholes.
Top row, (L-R):
-turning rings for rhino picture
-kakuru number puzzle
-picture (spinning squares)
- brown numbers
Bottom row:
- colored lines
- black numbers
PUZZLE TILES
ReplyDelete1) under tray with drink on table
2) under rocking horse
3) in locomotive (use saw from circle puzzle)
4) behind big plant
5) in airoplane propeller (use handdrill from brown number puzzle)
6) on tower crane on floor
7) on crane on table (use weird tool from grey number puzzle)
8) under right automobil headlight (use chisel from picture puzzle)

PICTURE LINK

btw: this one you CAN zoom...!
8-D
(in FF with Ctrl+Shift+«+», back with Ctrl+«-»)
nice (as usual)! out with no help this time, although I had to try some puzzles several times (number codes) because it didn't work first time.
ReplyDeleteBTW, the rhinoceros on the coin must be in same position as you would see it in a zoo :)
the shape puzzle also makes sense if you just count CORNERS
ReplyDeletetriangle - 3 corners
square - 4 corners
pentagon - 5 corners
circle - 0 corners
So nothing to "complain", because there was no guide what to count. Trial & error. :P
anyone still playing?
ReplyDeletei have 8 puzzle pieces, i guess that's all there is. where or how do i put them together?
I feel really dumb because I can't find the place where I need to put the 8 puzzle pieces! Would have thought next to the keyhole in the wardrobe (where the picture appears when you click on the keyhole), but it won`t take the pieces...
ReplyDeleteor I guess what I thought was a wardrobe is the door...
ReplyDeletethat's really stupid - simply draw the puzzle pieces into the middle of the picture by the keyhole, not in the place where you think they belong...
ReplyDeletei'm with you Kate. have no clue. this is the first time i got to the end of this type of game. i usually hate these and give up early or avoid altogether. hopefully someone out there will come back and help!
ReplyDeleteoh thanks Kate! i never even clicked there lol
ReplyDeleteAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEE
