    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  21. I don't know what the trick is for the dial. Every time I get the cable it seems to be different!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Same here Nooms. Got it 4 times but still don´t know how.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Nah LOL I tried the llrlr but no go and what is the story with the wreathes on the wall?

    ReplyDelete
  24. The dial keeps your turns even after you leave the room, cause I left the room and could get the cable after come back and turn it only once.

    ReplyDelete
  25. So, there´s no way to reset it to find out the sequence.

    ReplyDelete
  26. i cant get the black light to light up the dark room - the batteries are in and its glowing, i seem to have everything done up to this point and have an unused sd. is there something im missing ?

    ReplyDelete

Each wreath has a different direction of bristles.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yep that was it Roberto LOL TY

    ReplyDelete
  30. I didnt get it:P
I do not know what bristle is. The translation say that is the hair of the big hahahahaha

    ReplyDelete
  31. oh... but could be the hair of the wreath eh?
    Very good Roberto! Gongrats!

    ReplyDelete
  32. VK the green "leaves" go in directions around the wreathes (hope that helps)

    ReplyDelete
  33. @VK bristle is the material the wreath is made.
Note the difference from one to another. 1-4 turns left, and 2-3 turns right.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Holy Crap.... Who notices bristles? LMAO

    ReplyDelete
  35. yes I got it. Its the garland. Thank you both and have a very good night with the garlands and lights sparkling in our eyes!!!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Thank you Leroy, I found it

    ReplyDelete
  41. Please explain the dials in plain English for us exasperated ones!

    ReplyDelete
  42. LOL slartis the green on the wreathes forms arrow shapes going left or right so with clue under wreathes plus the paper clue gives the answer.
I cant remember exact code though...

    ReplyDelete
  43. Use all 8 numbers on decorations. Mine are 14343212 so llrlrrlr

    ReplyDelete
  44. Thank you for the llrlrrlr. None of the other explanations worked for me. I was turning 4x 3x 2x 1x. Still don't understand it but thank you so much.

    ReplyDelete
  45. PS I am sure that I tried it like that a few times previously, which didn't work. Must be POP at it again!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I feel like a chump. The paper clue on the flowers does nothing for me. I'm not seeing it. How do I turn 4 flowers into a 3-digit code?

    ReplyDelete
  47. Thanks for the llrlrrlr hint!! I couldn't figure it out by myself =)

    ReplyDelete
  48. Can anyone tell me where to find the key?

    ReplyDelete
  49. Somebody's awake! Alkmar...heeeeelp meeeeeeee... :)

    ReplyDelete
  50. Closet key: In the cupboard after you do the 1234 pictures.

    Door key: Er...give me time.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Am I supposed to click the four pictures in the order on top of the cupboard? It's not working for me if so..

    ReplyDelete
  52. Oh doh I think I wrote the numbers down wrong LOL. Onward I go... from reading the hints above I think I'm going to find this one very hard!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Yep--try it again. 2-flowers, 2-flowers, 3-flowers, etc. Then click that little brown stripe on top of the cupboard to unlock the doors.

    ReplyDelete
  54. No problem, I just noticed that the second half of my advice stunk anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Thank you Kate foe the kay. Now got as far as the tree lights flashing .. and baffled again. Counting baubles... hmmm

    ReplyDelete
  56. Oh c'mon, how did you open the 3-digit box?

    ReplyDelete
  57. Oh dear oh dear was allowing myself to be confused by four colours on the tree and only three on the box LOL. I need more coffee. (and a decent spellchecker apparently - sorry!) Finally out - thank you for all the hints.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Count the baubles on the tree - just ignore the wrong colour ones!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Oh sorry - do you mean the flower clue one? Put the paper on the flowers - it divides the petals up into three sections - count the petals in each section!

    ReplyDelete
  60. And...DUH. Ahem. Thanks Mary.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Simples LOL. I spent ages counting petals .... sigh ...

    ReplyDelete
  62. @kate and mary..glad you both made it!! I had work to do..so I could not help you ..I am sorry :)

    ReplyDelete
  63. Priorities, Alkmar! I had work to do too LOL but ignored it while I struggled ...

    ReplyDelete
  64. Hello! Where did you found 2 bulbs for christmas tree, please ?

    ReplyDelete
  65. Gazoline - click on the carpet edges, can;t remember which screen exactly.

    ReplyDelete
  66. I found something ( I don't remember what ) under the carpet on 4e view, but no bulb ! :-(

    ReplyDelete
  67. it was the ' transparent '

    ReplyDelete
  68. Oh no ! It wasn't 2 bulbs !!! I've highlighted christmas tree and I finaly finished it by myself ! :-)))

    ReplyDelete
  69. LOL @maryD ..but I cant ignore my work ;-) I have appointments with customers =)

    ReplyDelete
  70. stuck....clicked all the carpets..nothing hppended

    ReplyDelete
  71. tahsina,
in the view with code box, click carpet border more to the right

    ReplyDelete
  72. Searched quite a long time for the right spot in dark room, where to use blacklight & didn't noticed the different directions on the wreaths...
    :-|
Therefore: Thx, L&G, for your hints!
(Btw: It's a bit confusing, when dead end hints are posted, e.g. 2 bulbs under carpet...! Or is the flower petal overlay looking like bulbs? At least not for me...)

    ReplyDelete
  73. I DO NOT get the wreaths AT ALL, can someone give me a little more info. I get that you need to turn the dial in the other room. Do you use the order that is on the two decorated strings on the wall? I just don't understand it...

    ReplyDelete
  74. Each wreath has a different direction of bristles.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I got it now

under the wreath, there is 2 rows of numbers
    14343212

and use the paper clue and wreath's bristles direction
    1=L, 2=R, 3=R, 4=L

so the dials squeqence is LLRLRRLR

  76. Is there a trick to getting into this game? I'm being redirected in Google untranslatable Japanese and don't know if the link is broken.

    ReplyDelete
  77. how do you start the game? all i see is a lot of text

    ReplyDelete
  78. To brin3m:
If you scroll down quite a way and click on the picture of the game, you will be sent to this link [in another tab]:
    http://anko.aisnet.jp/poefc2/room007/

    =)

    ReplyDelete
  79. No, there is no working link!

    ReplyDelete
  80. Cleaned-up Google translation:

    Message from administration staff:
We are sorry but until further notice, everything will remain closed until the source for possible unauthorized access to files has been tracked down.

    ReplyDelete
  81. This is from Japanese original which you get if you remove everything after "poefc2/". You will get a redirect to an fc2.com blog.

    ReplyDelete
  82. From poe's official blog:
    ※ネタバレとは、攻略に関する記述を直接的表現で公開するようなものを指します。
    (スイッチの解除方法、パスワードの値、アイテムの名前そのもの、など)

So in a short summary (as far as I get it)
It seems some Japanese site has finally managed to break the rules by given hacking hints (!!) how to remove a switch or a password or the like?
And since poe does not allow that at all, he decided to make things more secure and keep the site closed until the security level could be successfully raised.
