Do I go in the same directions in the alphabet or do I have to take the shortest track between two letters to pick a letter? (Or am I completely on the wrong track)

the pics' names tell you what to do.
so you're quite on the right track there, be sure to compare the two pictures properly...
i'd also like to ask you all, in general, not to post too big spoilers, as well as i'd like to encourage you to use the official forum (there are some additional hints for the prologue already) and our IRC channel. everything is easily accessible through the SToG's main page.
hope you enjoy your time here, so far. get's better in Chapter 1 :)
Ah thanks. However I'm really sure I got the right combo's now, but doesn't matter wich way I go I still get gibberish and anagramming the gibberish still gives me nothing.

ReplyDeletein general, hints and allusions are fine - what i would like not to see here is given certain walkthroughs (like the two posts explicitly stating what to do at 0,2) and answers/links, including some parts of them.

ReplyDeleteWith the new hint I tried to anagram the letters (I pick from using the in between/alphabet methode) in groups of 5, 4 and 2. And with 5 and 2 letters I get some words that would really fit in the theme of this riddle, but whatever I try the 4 letters just won't make any sense.
the order of the letters is important too s-t ,so the numbers/letters will change depending on what you put first . and no i have not got it yet

Could have had it yesterday already, but misread one letter in the picture (besides the pinkish one).
I really hate that font now (but don't let me be misunderstood, I love the riddle).
you can download the font from http://stog.oz.pl/stuff/beyondwonderland.ttf - then you can type all the letters/numbers in Word or something, so that everything is clear.

seriously guys, there's no reason to keep an online riddle on the internet if people post solutions. and sorry, but even a dumb kid would know what d**k, s****e c***, l*****r etc mean, especially if looking at the level in question, using wildcards for obvious words doesn't make solutions any less spoily.
hints - now, that's completely different, but hints are only suggestive allusions, not step-by-step walkthroughs.
don't get me wrong, i really am glad you guys got hooked up by stog and enjoy playing it, but in the meantime, please don't spoil my fun as well.
