spot for scissors is the hose bottom right second screen. in the cave, simply click on all four wheels (three times, I think). Then you can connect the hoes and the chest will pop open.

@zazie: you can only click the wheels so many times until the pressure will go down again, from that point, simply click the wheel three times. do that for all four wheels and you're set
