  9. I miss the old Minto where we had to find everything not all items already there and we have to work out where they go. NO FUN Minto, we want the old Minto back.

  10. I don't like to preach, but please don't forget, complainers, that the massive japanese disaster cluster happened still less than one year ago.

I had a very sobering hour or so, using google street, to see just how bad the situation still is, and it was so saddening.
Most of the scenes I viewed were taken four months after, but it will take a heck of a lot to get back to normality.
Not just the devastated landscape and drastically changed coastline, but every part of japanese life.
Yes, money will go some way to restoring a sense of normality, but it can't bring back families.
Some whole towns are in the sea now.

    Just have a peep yourself.
Some areas require zoming in close and "walking" to the coast - the little yellow man won't drag directly down.
Bless their hearts - I appreciate for ANYTHING they produce after that.
    [end of sermon]

    Thank you, Minoto =D

  11. The idea of the story is that we needed to help the duck family catch up with their lost sleeping [ugly] baby/sibling.
There will be at least a number seven before the end.
As with all Minoto's altered stories based on classics, this needs imagination to apprectiate it.
Needless to say, I'm looking forward to the next episode ;P

    again, thank you, Minoto =D

  12. In the spirit of EGDAWT:
(From earlier episodes, we know the mama duck is trying to catch up with her ugly duckling child who has strayed.)

medicine to sick cloud (who rains)
trowel on plant to get CARROT
    studless tire on duck's car
    strong tire on ducks car
ticket on train (duck family is now riding)
coal on train (train is faster)
red ball on traffic light (train must stop)
    (ducks switch to donkey cart)
    carrot to donkey (new scene)

    crowbar on crash scene
    plaster on injured animals
    click duckling's truck (into factory)
    click duck family (into factory)
    clear
    only one method

  13. @Rookwings,
We just had a fabulous documentary this week on PBS Frontline about the Fukushima nuclear power plant disaster.

Last year, we had the thrill of watching the tsunami waves hit our coast several hours after the disaster (only a few inches here, but enough to cause damage in a couple of harbors in California).

In Japan, people were trained on how to respond to a tsunami -- here people still want to go to the shore with cameras! (which we did, but only after verifying the height of the wave and picking a high cliff to watch from "just in case")

  14. Thanks, PuzzledinCA, it's heartening to know at least the television companies think people still care. And thank you for the walkthrough with clear explanantions for people who haven't perhaps followed the complete Minoto Ugly Duckling series. =D
