  2. working on swissmiss level. I'm stuck on chapter 3 and IV.

chapter 3: couldn't identify the mountain. Google image search and tineye does not return a name.

chapter IV: did the calculation and got 4 or 5 letters that wouldn't make a word. Tried google translate and tried roman conversion too. Is the picture dhaulagiri?

    ReplyDelete
  3. Ruff
    3) is Molamenqing

And for the other one the pic name is very important, there are more dhaulagiri ones. Use that pic name.

    ReplyDelete
  4. @s-t: ty ty ty. :big hug: Solved swissmiss!

    ReplyDelete
  5. @s-t, may I hava a small hint on how to pick letters from your rhyme. I have been staring at it since last night.

    ReplyDelete
  6. The egg you mean Ruff?

You only have 8 lines (so 8 letters to pick). And every line has a certain amount of words.

    ReplyDelete
  7. @s-t, thank you so so much again. Solved s-t level! It's very clever. I have been counting letters, using notepad to push and pull etc.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Wow Lulu! That was a riddle within a riddle...Thanks!!!

    ReplyDelete
  9. I finally finished!!!!! Amazing game everyone. Thanks go to all the level makers, the players, and especially to Jon and Small-tool who spent a lot of time making this game.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Oh and a big thank you to all of you who gave hints. They were very helpful.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Sorry to post 3 times in a row, but I just realized I forgot to mention Clio and Yoli doing the congrats page. I loved it, especially the part about throwing the brick. Well done girls.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Congrats to JBG and Donas!! The Masters of the Masters!!! They have done it!!!AWESOME!!!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Help please, the 2nd egg of queens riddle.
I don't see how to relate the letters to colors. I have seen sc and pic title and think i know what to do, but need to understand the letters.
For example, which color is letter T? letter E? etc

    ReplyDelete
  14. ANGIE, Hello, you need to find the color key, use source hint to find an egg for the key :)

    ReplyDelete
  15. Oh, thanks. That helps a lot :) Don't have time to solve now, but will look at it later.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Im working on jbg, and have the numbers from his pic, but cant seem to decode them? Thought they were hex, but anyway....not working for me. A hint that is as subtle as a tractor, please.

    ReplyDelete
  17. clio, you re right , convert to b...y

    ReplyDelete
  18. Thank you new. I did that and lined them up...and got a word...and now ive no idea what to do next, because the word is not the answer.

    ReplyDelete
  19. forget that new....i made a typo..ooops

    ReplyDelete
  20. You guys are amazing!! I've solved Mr. Tum Tum, Mtatt and now jbg. Brilliant and fun, all them. Mtatt, you are a tricky mctrickster..lol. My next attempt will be Bigtank....and this one i will do with slobber-chops watching over my shoulder..x x x

    ReplyDelete
  21. Yayyyy....Thank you Scooby, your Mum is proud. Bigtank solved. Fun as well. Thanks, Sal.

    ReplyDelete
  22. If you are playing this later....here are my hints (so far) for the spectacularly riddle challenged..like myself: With Guts....Count how many of each letter and then..using A=1 B=2, get your letters. Arrange them like the level is set out. Then read them upwards each row..starting from bottom right.

    ReplyDelete
  23. For Mtatt...ooooo...he's a tricky one. First off, look at the pic...and then note the word written on the bottom right of the pic. Using the image and that word..find the song. Enter that..and move on, to the tricky part. Using the pic name/numbers (open in a new tab to see what it is)...AND the numbers ON that page...you will get two words ..once again..A=1 B=2..but you have to work out which numbers are single or double digit. Don't just look at the symbols on the front of the pic...you NEED to have the two words to be able to decode those symbols. A whole heap of fun. I loved it.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Jbg: I think i shortcutted this one....but i blame the good lessons learned from all the experts. I was taught: 1.Check source code. 2.Put pic into Jeffrey's exif viewer. Using Jeff..i found a heap of numbers which i thought were hex, (using paulschou) but gave gibberish. What you need to do is note the binary given. Note how many groups of binary numbers there are. You will find there are enough to be grouped into a square. Do that..(i used ms word, because i dont know many programs and it seemed the easiest way for me). When you've done that..look and make a pattern from the numbers..0=nothing and 1=use your pencil...Using the one's...you should make a word...and thats your answer. So clever of jbg, wouldnt you agree?

    ReplyDelete
  25. TVM, clio,
    for your level guide thrus!

Plz continue with them, thereby I can solve all the levels I'm still stuck on just in a snap!

    ReplyDelete
  26. I have problem loading the riddle page. Is it just me or is the link down? :(

    ReplyDelete
  27. Ruff,
ditto for us all - I suppose, Webs is acting up again...
    :-/

    ReplyDelete
  28. LOL clio
    these are not just hints
its a complete WT step by step
    excellent written though

    ReplyDelete
  29. I was lucky and had Scooby helping me i think because, I immediately noticed that one of the words was written in a slightly different colour. Then using the lessons taught, checked source code. S/code reveals information needed. Next thing i noticed was that the pic was clickable. It opened another page with a pic. Note the shape of one of the letters and also the pic name. Assuming i was looking for a cup, I wiki'd the coloured word with cup at the end. Then using each year given in s/code...used the number beside it to count letters in the winning team of each year. Those letters spelled a word, which was the answer. This level was great fun too.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Ooopss...i forgot to say that the above is for Bigtanks level...sorry.

    ReplyDelete
  31. for Lulu : use the coordinates to find a place and notice that they are upside down

    ReplyDelete
  32. for Lulu egg: saw the calendar, found the pic and searched for smt that takes place there during that period, tried some but nothing...
    maybe wrong direction...

    ReplyDelete
  33. Help please on Prem's level. Even reading hints above, im getting marshalite, fridge, freezer, frozen. I think i have a brain freeze. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Clio,
Look for a band named Fridge.
Look for a synonym for marshalite and see if there's an album named like that.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Thank you small. Finally found it. I for sure needed the hint about the synonym for the marshalite. That was tricky Premiere. Thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  36. For Yoli's level, after picking your jaw up from the floor, remember lesson 101 riddling - source code. Check it for a hint. Back to the main pic, where you will see that each pic is actually a band name. Write down all the band names in the same way that the pics are placed. You will end up with 3 columns of 6 band names each - in total 18 names. Read the hint under the pic. What it means is: In the first column use the 1st letter, second column = 2nd letter. Third column = 3rd letter. You now have 18 letters that are gibberish, so use anagram-solver.net, to give you the answer - (you will know its right, because it relates to the s/code hint). Yoli, you are a very talented woman. This level is fun and fun with some fun thrown in for fun.

    ReplyDelete
  37. thanks mtatt, for Lulu egg1: just google what you see

    ReplyDelete
  38. For Premiere's level..Look at the bottom pic and read what is on the front and use wiki, it is the hint you need for the answer. You then need to get the three words on the top level pics, (note the middle pic has only half of the speech bubble). Third word is a slightly different spelling. Join the 3 words together and then google. Next find a synonym for what you found. Go back to that bottom pic wiki page, and find a word that is the synonym. That's your answer. Premiere, i spent hours on this one. Congratulations! You are a riddler for sure !

    ReplyDelete
  39. LOL, clio,
mayhaps I'm kinda a riddler - one of the cheating sort (my skill are way better in that art)...!
    ;-P
Btw: There's also a hint from the bottom pic name (& I don't mean the front)...!
    ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  40. for Lulu egg2: watch out the pic name is used in 2 ways

    ReplyDelete
  41. for Lulu egg4: im missing smt....
minus from what? any ideas ?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Faltu

i have tried lots of synonims of sppech balloons, word balloons, bubbles.. etc... and nothing owrks

    ReplyDelete
  43. for Lulu egg4: one part needs conversion and the other one just to see it closely and read

    ReplyDelete
  44. @new: Think how to use those numbers Globally.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Grego, try to combine a part of it with the colour.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Grego,
combine your first try written above (but only 1 word of it) with the colour...

    ReplyDelete
  47. well i am looking at some cute kitties but nothing springs to mind on the third egg of faltus

    ReplyDelete
  48. bigtank,
I'm stuck there, too, but I scrolled down...

    ReplyDelete

    ;-D

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  55. faltu "cats": LOL do i have to say salamandra ??

    ReplyDelete
  56. LOL, s-t,
    should I?

    ReplyDelete
  57. Yep Premiere,
    Think about your own level.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Again: Ah, haha, POP!
    Faltu done!

Thinking of my own level LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  59. LOL, how about refreshing...!

    ReplyDelete
  60. faltu cats: i scrolled down and saw and put it as an answer and the same page opened

  67. Hi guys! May I have a nudge on master lulu and master queenstrychex's levels?

level lulu: I have been looking at the french gentleman since yesterday without any progress. The pic name is sort of mixed up, "ordering" it does not help. I have also tried all his notable ideas but still no progress.

level queens: I have been looking at the blinking fruit for two days and don't know what to do with the 3 numbers. I've done lots of research about the sequence and nature already. Have I missed anything important?

    ReplyDelete
  68. Trying to get started on Small-tools level, but have stared at it for ages, and not a thing is coming to mind. May I have a kick-start please.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Hi clio_rose.

For small-tools level, use first two lines to figure out the code, use 3rd to prepare the text to be decoded, then decode. This will lead you to the egg.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Hi Ruff: For lulu's level, try figuring out what that french guy has to do with the country you have been led to. For Queen's level pay attention to the numbers and pick letters.

    ReplyDelete
  71. hi jbg, for lulu, it is related to the flag?

    ReplyDelete
  72. Did you try that Ruff. lol

    ReplyDelete
  73. Yeah, I did. I think I have to try it again. If it was a typo, I'll kill myself. :(

    ReplyDelete
  74. omg, I really need to kill myself. On second thought, I should delay killing myself as I still need to finish the level.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Thanks Ruff. I guess I need to think about it a bit more. Im still flummoxed.

    ReplyDelete
  76. @jbg, thx. level lulu's solved. I'll leave queens level for tomorrow.

@clio_rose, for small-tool level, read the 3rd line. Two of the 3 words are useful.

    Good night, everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  77. Still stuck on the first bit of small-tools level..arrghh. This is what ive done. Changed the word "word" to morse, according to the first two lines, then reading third line changed the y to an a. Have no idea what the 4th line means.....and then converted the weird sentence to morse....and im stuck again. What now?

    ReplyDelete
  78. clio, if you ve converted the weird sentence to morse ,you should be able to read "c.... cr......"
    ,google that

    ReplyDelete
  79. Catching up!
I managed to solve the Clio riddle (very nice indeed !) but stuck on Luth and Donas.
For Luth I opened the timezone map and googlemaps, but I really can't figure out the answer. After trying 20 times I moved to Donas. Little did I know it's even harder. From once upon a time, once in a blue moon, fool me once, once in a lifetime,... None of it works :-(

    ReplyDelete
  80. Solved Gut too, makes me melancholic, thinking about my nanny who passed away.

    ReplyDelete
  81. virginie you had the answer but don't use once

    ReplyDelete
  82. Virginie, for Donas as mtatt said, one of your guesses is right but dont put the "once"
for Luth: You have to keep one place as a "0" find the difference in hours and find the right letters using the letters given for every place and the time difference

    ReplyDelete
  83. Stuck on level Queenstrychex the google/pikachu part. I have used colours of each word to determine the dots but cannot get anything meaningful. Please help!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Hi Ruff...

I took long time in this part too. If not Donas help me I was in till now. Thanks Donas for your patience..
you have to find the colors of each item above the squares
and using the list of colors you'll find where the dots are in each square
    Hints from New...

For now, I'm stuck on the next egg, facebook page...

    ReplyDelete
  85. Lulu, for Queen FB page :Open the page (dont have to be an FB member) and read cerefully whats given as clues for piddles.

    ReplyDelete
  86. For small-tools level: I had no idea, and even with all the wonderful hints above (which NOW make sense to me), I had to have help every step of the way. First off, note the name of the level. Then quite literally apply what you are told in the first two lines of the poem to that title. You have then turned that word into a code. Note the 3rd line of the poem. Use the code (sort of) on the weird line at the bottom. Note that the first sentence has 5 words and second sentence 8. If you use the code in a freaky way you will end up with a series of 5 sets of dots and dashes and 8 sets of dots and dashes. Now use the code in the proper way, to give you two words. You know who it is, so type in the answer. On to the next part, and what a wonderful poem. Reading it, you realise you need to pick letters - but which ones? Count how many words in each line. However many words it has, that is the letter you need to choose from that line. You have your answer. I think this level is incredibly clever. I also think that i met smalls level picker wishes.

    ReplyDelete
  87. I've heard rumour of a legend that Debbie may have done Dallas. I care not of that legend. Forsooth, I tell thee that Clio hath defeated Donas and enjoyed every libation offered on her journey.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Yes, I did it!! :)
Thank you all creators of this riddle! Great job with a very nice concept!
I had some nice moments solving these levels. The most difficult part was to find time to be at the computer lol. Half an hour every now and then made it take quite a while lol. That's also the reason I havent been around to read and write comments here.
Thank you again! See you around!

    ReplyDelete
  89. @Ruff, very nice to see you again!
For queens pikachu, i might be blind, but I dont see any S in the coloregg. I had to try some letters with and without S until I found words that made sense. Three words, and two letters. No anagrams. Also, the Romania isn't correct. Try navy, yellow, blue.

    ReplyDelete
  90. thank you mtatt and new! How frustrating to know that was actually the first thing I tried *bangs head on keyboard*

    ReplyDelete
  91. Hi @Ellie. Long Time!!!!!!!!!! :D

Queen's braille is killing me. I cannot even make a letter out of billard 7-9, not to mention words. I'm gonna do it from scratch just in case I've overlooked something.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Yes, it sure was a long time since we played together!
For billiard you should use maroon for number 7. First row should give one word (I didn't know it was a word...). Second row gives one word and one letter and 3rd row also one word and one letter. Two of the words are math terms. Good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  93. Ellie!! how nice to see you around !!
    Hows your beautiful daughter ??

    ReplyDelete
  94. Help please. I've run out of ideas of what to do with queens' pineapple.

    ReplyDelete
  95. hi clio,
count letters in each line (starting left), how many: indicated in each line.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Thanks Prem. Counting again...i must have done something wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  97. 3 letters & granmaa

    ReplyDelete
  98. Thanks again Prem, i actually got it right the first time...but...made a typo...(time for a manicure)..lol

    ReplyDelete
  99. Still on queens. May i have help please? If i write down quickly what the letter = colour is...do i have to look at that colour page again? If so, i need a straight up cheat. The yellow is flashing my eyes and the lime and aqua are nearly as bad. Im so sorry queens, but i just cant 'see' that page properly.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Thank you Swissy. Even if i had been able to see those colours...i would have been back here begging for help. On to the next bit tho, thanks to you.

    ReplyDelete

  105. I am stuck on Queens 3rd egg.I got to the 'go look page' with symbols and numbers. Do I need to convert them and if so how?

    ReplyDelete
  106. yes if you are where I think you are it is a type of geek language 1337

    ReplyDelete
  107. Thank you mtatt100 for your help but I must being doing something wrong because all I'm getting is end of the world pages!!!! I normally use purple hell but their bandwith has been exceeded.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  110. Slowly, slowly....now stuck at Faltu's clock egg. Help, please.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Hi clio,
the hands of the clocks are making angles. Search for a tool in PH, where hands are holding something & their extentions are making angles...
    :-o

    Big hint:

Remember the answer of my level...!
    ;-D

    ReplyDelete
  112. Faltu finished.....only four more to go....yayyyy.

    ReplyDelete
  113. last one yipee..... lulu. Oh dear coordinates sob sob

    ReplyDelete
  114. Found a place on lulu tried a few things with upside down and not getting anywhere. Now I am wondering if have the right place - M.....

Is there anyone around to give me a clue please

    ReplyDelete
  115. Juliet,
I think you found the right place, but that's not the answer. You have to use that upside down hint to find a big country very, very far away from that place.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Thanks Small-tool. I found the place in the big country but not sure what to do next.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Juliet,
If you are on the second egg now (the one with the ball). Use part of the pic name to translate the code and the other part of the pic name to get the answer. I mean with that ball and the country and the year you get from that code you have a very big sports event coming up. Now don't overthink that half part of the pic name. Just name it what it is. And it's not only for that sports event it's the same name for a lot of sports events.

    ReplyDelete
  118. thanks small tool. I am now stuck again on egg 4. 'read me'. I have the numbers and have tried many many world statistics but am getting nowhere. Can I have a nudge please

    ReplyDelete
  119. It seems you already have the numbers.
    But to be sure about that;
The top part is just binary. Use this site; http://home.paulschou.net/tools/xlate/
    to decode it.
And the bottom part is not really binary, it's visual. The 0's make shapes of numbers.
For example, it start with; -4

And the numbers you have then are coordinates again. You're now looking for a famous mountain in that big country (and city) from that other egg.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Thank you. I have finished. Phew that was some riddle, quite hard but very interesting. Thanks for all the hints and a special thanks to small-tool I would not have been able to do lulu level without you.

    ReplyDelete
  121. That's Swiss done. Only two more to go. Congratulations Swissy...that was very very clever and taxed my maths half-brain - (yoli, please return to sender).

    ReplyDelete
  122. For Donas level. Look at the pic and you will know that there is a couple of sayings which start with that word. Meaning very rarely, is the saying you want...type it in, no spaces, to get you to the second page. There, note the pic and title. Googling those two things together will lead you to a band. Looking on the wiki page, you will see an album name which is familiar. Go to that album and then using the numbers on the level pick your letters. eg - 1.1.1 = first song, first word, first letter. Enter that word and move on to the third part of this riddle. YUMMM..relieve your thirst and then....note the side bar and scroll down...there is a hint. Also open the pic in a new tab and note the name of it. I was able to guess immediately what the word was, but if needed - google the word drink followed by the two words you now have and there is your answer....you will know you have the right one because it makes sense. I loved this level. It was really good fun to do and i really liked the creativity of it. Super level, Donas.

  123. The next i tried was Queens. I can only give a partial explanation on this one. First off, we have a rebus. It is asking for the name of a famous cartoon characters home. Once you type that in, you will have a pic of that, with some numbers flashing on it. Using those three numbers apply only the appropriate one to the sentence which contains that number. You will then have a 3 letter word. Type that in to move you on to the next page. Have a nervous breakdown, but then use rule 101 and check the source code....it will give you the biggest hint as to what to type in next. It will lead you now to a colour page. Unfortunately for me (gnuck gnuck..meant i didnt have to do the hard work tho)...the colours gave me a migraine. I believe you have to apply the colours to the previous page...but someone else will have to explain, because i cant. I was given the answer and moved on to the next page, which is sooooooo cute. I cant tell you how to solve this part either. I knew the answer, because I remembered it. I enjoyed the small part i was able to do on this level, but really, I know i didnt do much myself. Congratulations queens, that was a very brainiac level.

  124. Sweet Faltu's level was my next attempt at becoming a riddle-player. Looking at the pic, ignore the man but note the colour of what is coming out of his mouth. Using that colour and joining it to what he is doing...type that in and move on to the next page. Argghh!! Ok...calm down. Its a language, but not of this earth, but somewhere in the middle. Think of a famous movie. Anyway, type it all into google and you will see what they mean. Note what kind they are (and i dont mean which language) and type in your answer...it is a three letter word. Look at the cute pic and note the not-so-cute one. Also, check the side bar. Once again you can scroll down...which will lead you to a ? Click on that and then you will find yourself on a page with a familiar code. Just remember, as there was an odd one out in the pic, so there is an odd one out in the code. Type in your answer and move to the next page. Note the times. Think of the times as being on an analogue clock and pretend the arms are holding flags. This will give you the code to use for your 5 letter answer. I had a good time on this riddle. Thanks sweet faltu.

  125. New's level is a heap of fun to do. First off, note the source code. Then back on the riddle page answer the question, thats all. Then answer it again with the opposite. Note that each time you were taken to a page with letters forming your answer. Note the position of each letter and then apply that position to the corresponding letter on the riddle page. (i used counting, but you could use tracing paper or there is probably an easier way). Anyway, reading across at the letters you have chosen you will see that you can read a question. As a further hint, in the question/answer page some letters are fainter. Note those letters down as well. So, you have your s/code hint, two questions you have worked out and the faint letters. Thinking about all those things will give you the answer. What a fun, time-consuming and really very satisfying level this was. Congratulations, new. This riddle is a beauty.

  126. A little extra for the first part of Donas her level: If you found the saying, don't use the first word of it, that word is already on the pic.

  127. For SwissMiss riddle: First off, read the text and note that in each paragraph (except the 4th), she has referred to mathematics in some way. Next task; click on each paragraph, which will open a pic, each of which is something of height - except the 4th pic which indicates which unit of measure to use. After getting all the measurements, apply the maths indicated in each para to each para's pic. Then, using A = 1, you will find that you have been asked a question. Answer that, and you've solved this riddle. This one took me a me more than a day. I read in comments here about pics...but derr me, didnt think to click on the text. After I found the pics, I had a blast, particularly as I got the maths wrong which gave a very funny question , but luckily with the last words correct, was able to work out what it was supposed to be. Congratulations on a fun, and very clever riddle, Swissy.

  128. On to Luthoriens riddle. Firstly, click on the image. It will open in a new tab, at a more readable size. Note the word in the text at the bottom which is a different colour. Using that word, and noting the vertical lines in the pic, and remembering where Great Britain is in relation to those lines, work out the + and - of each location indicated. When you have done that, add or subtract that number of letters from the letter given. Anagram those letters...and you have your answer. I loved this riddle, tho i needed help when i got two zones incorrect. It ended up being a lot of fun, though when i first saw it, i was terrified. Thanks Luth, this was a challenge, but a fun one.

  129. And finally...Lulu. Crikey! 1. See the co-ordinates are upside down. Firstly find the co-ords right way up, then using the site: http://www.antipodemap.com/ , find the country. Type it in, to go to the next bit. 2. Using google image, copy the url into there, and find the name of the river...but..use the city name in full, no spaces. 3. Next off, you know what the top part of the pic is, however the bottom part looks like gibberish. It isnt....its a language Jim, but not as we know it. Use this site: http://www.omniglot.com/writing/klingon.htm ... and de-code. Tricky bit here. You now know the event..BUT...any sporting event ends up being played out in the 'f****'. That is the word you need. 4. On to that man, so...using google image, find out who it is, and wiki. Scrolling down the wiki page, you will see a pic of something associated with the country. Use that word. 5. Decode the binary in the top half, and then lining up the zeros in the bottom half, you will have a set of co-ords. Use those and find the monument. 6. See all those pics? Using first word, first letter; second word second letter...type in your 5 letter answer. Yayy..you defeated Lulu. What a Mistress of Riddledom she is. I congratulate you Lulu. That was a killer, but each step felt like a huge achievement for me. Im very proud to have completed this level..even tho, i took a flying guess a couple of times and got it right.

  130. And now...did i forget to say at the beginning? Write down EVERYTHING you had been given at the end of each riddle. Sorry about that...but you needed to. What you have now, is 15 different parts of a very very long equation. Using the letters above each part of the equation...anagram those 15 letters. That will give the order in which the super-equation needs to be written down. Do the maths. Sorry, can't help you with it, because i couldnt do it. I wrote it down incorrectly. However, apply the rules of maths about brackets and multiply being ahead of minusing etc. If done correctly..you will have a 17 digit number. Finally, using A= 1 ...get a four word saying. Type it in - and - You've succeeded...Done, finito, finished, fin, end. Woohooo. If you are anything like me...im guessing, you just want to SHOUT. Congratulations, to jonthewatch for making this, and to all the contributors. ... cept Small-tool. He deserves to be shot for that last equation!! And immediately after being shot, he should then be awarded a medal for an utterly brilliant equation. That really is a most amazing feat he achieved, which can only be truly appreciated, when you get the answer. HUGE CONGRATS TO SMALL.
