  2. I'm here too :) hi again

    ReplyDelete
  3. For all who are interested: Awakening machines is continuing!

    ReplyDelete
  4. That seems to be a hard game, not much done so far. Just stacked books in corners. Placed a stone/core in the 'washing machine'

    ReplyDelete
  5. One stone is behind "washing" machine, you have to prolong the stick.

    ReplyDelete
  6. In the view with lightbulbs you get hint for buttons bellow

    ReplyDelete
  7. opened machine under bublbs with clue under lightbublbs

    ReplyDelete
  8. Thanks Urban...

    Yes, Marko, done that too...

    ReplyDelete
  9. Tubes also go to the machine, I think they will lose a bit of the substance when all the right things will be in the machine.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Opened the blue hatch! The stripes under the lifted corners show the order how to click the colored squares under the blue hatch. Make the corners go up, count where the clack stripe is of all corners and then click the colored squares in that order.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Then you can operate the 'washing machine'...

    ReplyDelete
  12. And you get the shapes to put into the grey circle in the wall. Got the upper one, the orange jewel.

    Now I need green liquid...

    ReplyDelete
  16. Urban: sorry, realised that I forgot the two and deleted the wrong solution... Above is the correction.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Just one question @escapism: how did you lift the corners?
I think we need to find the blue substance for one of the stones.
Has anybody found more than 2 stones?

    ReplyDelete
  18. @escapisme, thank for the hint for the blue hatch!

    ReplyDelete
  19. i think we need to place all corners down and then press "play" button?
    but how?

    ReplyDelete
  20. You lift up the corners by placing the books

    ReplyDelete
  21. @marko: put the books on the little cb left of where you got books

    ReplyDelete
  22. place books in the corner close to the cupboard with books...make that goes down by placing enough books on it...another cornor goes up...than put there the books up etc.

    ReplyDelete
  23. What would that decoder sign on the floor mean? I declare stuckness too :)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Woah. Big breakthrough! Good idea, Marko!! Place 10 books on one of the corners to the right of a lifted corner, then place them on the lifted corner. So all are down. Then press the button beside the bookcase and a new room opens.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hi everyone! I followed your clues until here - now I'm stuck with you with one changed stone. Missing more liquids and stones :)

    ReplyDelete
  26. Thanks for the idea guys!!!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  29. In the new room I'm trying to push buttons like the hint in first room says (first left and then right CB), but it doesn't work.

    ReplyDelete
  30. and a stone from the bag ( behind a cupboard)

    ReplyDelete
  31. notice the black/white colors under the book cupboards in new room, then check the hintstone in first room. now twist the cupboards 90° in your mind, first the left one then the right one.

Hint: left one you need to turn 90^ clockwise, right one 90^ counterclock

hope I could express well enough...

    ReplyDelete
  32. look it at fro the other angle..
    shelves..

    ReplyDelete
  33. Got the green liquid! Opened the green hatch in the new room:

Look at the two bookcases when the books are out. See the grey/black marks down? These are the same as on the hint beside the door (the one that looks like a grave stone)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yes!!! I opened it and got green liquid!!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I see there is a wt for how to do it ;-)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  40. pop, left to right is then the right order, not from top of cb to bottom.

    ReplyDelete
  41. You need to push both buttons the same time. Place books and let them fall like dominos...

    ReplyDelete
  42. and now...push red dots at the same time? I tried with books too... but nope :/

    ReplyDelete
  43. Have a red jewel now, but the door locks.

Look at the word on the side to open the door again.

    ReplyDelete
  44. use ALL books to push buttons same time

    ReplyDelete
  45. wooww...such a great game!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. SAVE before you go out the door!!! There is a dialogue going on and I don't know if it is good or bad!

Good luck to all of you !!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Hm, think I'm out, but not sure... A lot of green characters are raining down, looks like 'The Matrix'...

    ReplyDelete
  49. Ok, wasn't out, game is going on. The game decodes the panel beside door. Easy code... Door is open. A lot of dialogue again, waiting...

    ReplyDelete
  50. Finally out, but I don't know if with good or with bad end. There was a room with a sign of a pit and skulls in it (a warning??), then japanese/chinese characters and a retry option...

    ReplyDelete
  51. hm, decoding seems to take forever! or did the game freeze? will wait a few more minutes...

    ReplyDelete
  52. Pao, yes, it takes some time, and I think you have to let the window with the game open, otherwise it wont go on (???)

    ReplyDelete
  53. was gone for a while...

    ReplyDelete
  56. @Marko: well, I hope I can do, didn't write the correct order down, sorry. So without guarantee:

    ReplyDelete
  65. the one with the bookcases...ahhh is there another room?

    ReplyDelete
  66. HMM..not getting light bulbs/arrows thing

    ReplyDelete
  67. Yes, ann, for the room with the two bookcases you need the hint where the dots in the bookcase are to get another liquid, for the solution see urbans post from 4:36.

    ReplyDelete
  68. @grannypeace when you push the botton with the bulbs, one goes out, and then you see (pretty hard to see) the clue for the arrows

    ReplyDelete
  69. what am i supposed to do with the 'life' hint ??

    ReplyDelete
  70. @escapism thank you for helping me, but i cant push both bottons at a time, or do i understand something completely miss?

    ReplyDelete
  71. Thanks ann, had to look close to see that

    ReplyDelete
  72. @rgannyrecipe: and then push the upper lonely arrow button on the red lid

@E-Addict: count the 'strokes' in every letter. L is made of 2, I of 1, F of 3... That is the solution for the door riddle

    ReplyDelete
  73. locked with a red diamond !!

    ReplyDelete
  74. YEAH got it! I DID understand something completely miss! Thanks escapism

    ReplyDelete
  75. @ann: so you are in the room with the two bookcases, right? You see the panel in the back with 4 buttons in the corner. The hint how to push those buttons is in the bookcases.

    ReplyDelete
  76. thanx escapism .. now back to the main room !!

  86. wow... I can't explain how I got out of this game all by my own O.O must be a special day...
    very good game

    ReplyDelete
  87. I'm feeling stupid.

I don't know how to get all pillars down.
I got the relation between the pillars' markings and the colored buttons and figured that part all out by myself.

But AFAICS once you place 10 books on a pillar, another one goes up! So how can you guys get all 4 down?

    ReplyDelete
  88. Ahh, it's 20 books not 15! Use other half as COUNTERWEIGHT...finally. Heh.

    ReplyDelete

  90. Uchhhhhh....

I guess I know now why some only gave 3 stars for this game in which Gatamari put so much hard work in.

Gatamari managed to spoil any greatness of the first 90% of the game by the final part. It's a MAJOR CPU HOG.

This animation with the spacy things flying from the sky looks fantastic, but doesn't PERFORM fantastically at all.

I'm now having this animation running for 12 minutes, and it's still going.
So you guys with slower machines BE WARNED, you're advised to leave it running, have your breakfast, lunch or your tea, and then come back again. And chances are you will have to wait yet a few minutes longer until it's finished.

CPU has been on 100% load here for over 10 minutes now.

    ReplyDelete
  91. This is an incredibly infuriating game! There are 20 books. It takes 10 books to make the corner go down. It takes 5 books to hold it down. That means to have 10 books to push it down, you have to take away 5 books from a corner. When that corner goes down, guess what....

The corner that does not have 5 books BECAUSE you had to use them to push down a different corner is UP!!!!

It is a perpetual arranging of books. This is NO game. However, if you want your blood pressure to rise and waste good time, then this is for you.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Help! Can't get the pillars to stay down. Very clear hint, please. I've tried many different ways. Just want to get out now. :)

    ReplyDelete
  93. Okay, I'm at the door with a decoded sign which says:
    KNOCK
    RFOUR
    LELEV
    ENRSI
    XLTWO

No one else has mentioned this. I though it meant know four times on the right and twice on the left (I can zoom in the on the door knockers), but I can't find a combination that does anything. Help anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  94. @FireFly, if you're trying to get all four pillars down, see escapism's comment at 4:00.

    ReplyDelete
  95. T'Lai I don't think so.

    Let me rewrite:

    RFOURLELEVENRSIXLTWO

    4 times RIGHT

    11 times LEFT

    6 times RIGHT

    2 times LEFT

Try this (because I can't, as the animation is killing my CPU, as I wrote above)

    ReplyDelete
  96. Thanks @arbeitslooser. That's what I was looking for, but the L before eleven messed me up and I wasn't seeing it. :P That and I wasn't thinking of numbers higher than 9... Oh well. Thanks again!

    ReplyDelete
  97. Glad I could help someone, considering that I will only be able to check out the "scene" in a future video walkthrough!

For my part, I've given up now, because the bubbles *honestly* fall down like in a video on DVD where you set super-slow-motion. The 10 minutes I had written far above were ridiculous; even after 1 full hour, the animation was not yet finished. And in total, it might sum up to 3 hours, because it can happen the animation runs for 25 minutes, then Flash Player crashes.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Some explanation:
    1. This is the 4th episode of the Gate Escape series. The story is influenced by Type-moon's Fate series.

    2. You have physical limit when carrying books: A maximum of 15 at any time. However, you can use ALL the books, just have to carry them separately until you get a certain item.

    3. 10 books are needed to lower any pillar in the corners, and keeping it down. Pushing one pillar down will cause another one to come up, in a fixed order. Therefore to make all pillars down, you need to set one pillar as a stopper: Put 10 books on it to prevent it from coming up, then keep pushing the other pillars down using the remaining books.

    4. No idea who the three figures are, but they mentioned the philosopher's stone (that red stone near the end of the game). And the skill name Emerald Tablet...probably alchemists.

The whole story in short: You are on the quest to find the "Holy Grail" which grants any wish. To reach the grail you need to go through seven rooms and collect seven "Relics", which in this series correspond to seven major(?) tools used in escape games.
Once you escaped, the next room has no locked exit, but it is dark and there is a warning sign indicating a dangerous pitfall. Guess it's a hint for the next episode's relic. Continues to episode 5, looking forward to it.

Not useful anymore, but some visual spoilers:
    1. Solving the puzzle in bookshelves hidden room.
    2. Reading the decoded letters.
