    ReplyDelete
  39. code change in each game I suppose

    Zoran try 8426

    ReplyDelete
  40. Hi bandy!
Hmmm...follow 8 just doesn't help me...I am very dense! LOL Ty anyway, 88game!

    ReplyDelete
  41. nokra all 8 make 4 shapes of numbers.
I think first shape was 1

    ReplyDelete
  42. seb, thanks for the color grid, I had just 1 of them wrong :)

    ReplyDelete
  43. code change for me follow all 2

    ReplyDelete
  44. I am stupid. maybe i understand red, white and the 4 is yellow, but not why 3 is blue. but out thanks to seb.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Ok, I got all the others but for the life of me I can't figure out A,D,C,D,E, , , , , D G D I would be logical?

    ReplyDelete
  46. Tnx seb! I feel so stupid

    ReplyDelete
  47. 3 to go:
    the partially filled grid 12x4
the diamonds with the circles in the centers
    dominoes

    clues anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  48. I got the flag.....
    What about the 01000111...etc.
    I don't get that one!

    ReplyDelete
  49. In diamonds three numbers make the circle, you use the fourth

    ReplyDelete
  50. for diamonds add 3 numbers to get number of center and note number not used

for grid if I remember well in each line it's a suite as 16..12..10 9...6
    (= 16 15 14 13 12...)

    ReplyDelete
  51. Andrea...the dominoes one is process of elimination...the touching ones match, then the others are numbers that are not repeated....
I think the triangle with circle...use the number that does not add up to the number inside....

    ReplyDelete
  52. grid is the missing numbers. just following numbers, going up or down.
domino is the missing stones in the whole picture that go with the stone next to it.

    ReplyDelete
  53. nokra ignore the left side of the binary, start from the right. it is (or at least for me it was) numbers in binary. Each group of 4 corresponded to 1, 3, 5, 7 (starting from the right) and you were to fill in the spaces (from left to right) so it was 8 6 4 2

    ReplyDelete
  54. *Diamond, not triangle...and I was right? yes...I am not as stupid as I think I am....now, 0100011...etc...still stuck! lol

    ReplyDelete
  55. A,D,C,D,E, ....

but D,G,D,I doesn't follow next? hint?

    ReplyDelete
  56. TY @andrea...Needed the spoiler...I just don't get binary ....lol

    ReplyDelete
  57. @just Pondering I think it was an error in game, its probably ABCDE and FGHI for answer

    ReplyDelete
  58. I *thought* that was the diamonds/circles solution but apparently I didn't do it right, will try again...Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  59. and....spoiler not working....lol

    ReplyDelete
  60. seb, thank you! I'm feeling far too stupid now!! lol

    ReplyDelete

  62. I feel a headache coming on.....guess it is too much for me! Thanks for help guys!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  63. binary and "pins" left, i dont see the light

    ReplyDelete
  64. for me binary 8642 too
    for pins (for me) as a clock 6 6 12 5

    ReplyDelete
  65. 88game not the same for other players. have to post your puzzle to let others see.

    ReplyDelete
  66. As is that of the EE.UU. flag? and the (use even)? thanks

    ReplyDelete
  75. 88game i think your answer is on 7, 9, 9, 7

    ReplyDelete
  76. It is 7997 thank you all :)

    ReplyDelete
  77. thank you very much, enjoy. could you? You have to separate the letters into numbers

    ReplyDelete
  78. Oh no! I still don't understand THREEFOURFIVESIX

    spoiler please?

  87. Hello anyone still here?
I'm so stuck at the pins! (last code)
Tried to find a pattern with no luck. My pins are in the positions:

    12 11 6 9 12 8

    Someone help me pleasee :)

    ReplyDelete
  88. 6, 6, 12, 5

    ReplyDelete
  89. How? o.o

There isn't a straight pattern like 1 left, 2 right etc..

    ReplyDelete
  90. Well.. Thx dom anyway (but I really want to know why)

    ReplyDelete
  91. two sequences.
    1, 3 and 5 do 12, 6, 12, 6, 12, 6
    2, 4 and 6 do 11, 9, 7, 6, 5, 3

    ReplyDelete
  92. My binary not working
converting in groups of 4 I have:
    23 .... 5 .... 78 .... .... BCDE (or 11-12-13-14)
so answer should be 4-6-9-A (since you can't enter 2 digits

    ReplyDelete
  93. Also, my triangle/circle puzzle is not simple addition
Using the ABCD hints at the top I have for the 1st 2:
    9,11,5, 32
    1, 9,4, 16

    Not seeing a pattern yet

    ReplyDelete
  94. Can you post the binary?

    ReplyDelete
  95. @PuzzledinCA: For the triangles, look for patterns in the series. Compare the A's, then the B's etc. Do you have the russian thing figured out?

    ReplyDelete
  96. I can't figure out the pins or the binary one. My pins are 3 1 5 12 6 11. and the binary is
    0001....0011....01010110....1010101111001101

    Please help with this!

    ReplyDelete
  97. Figured out the binary. The pins are still confounding me

    ReplyDelete
  98. @Puzzled, I had the same binary sequence that you did -
    23 .... 5 .... 78.... .... 11121314
So the missing decimal numbers, left to right, are 4, 6, 9, and 10
I also tried 4,6,9, and A (the hexadecimal translation) to no avail.
Tried 1,4,6,9 and tried everything backwards.
I finally gave up and started over. Has anyone had luck with this particular binary sequence???

On the second try, my flag was ERITREA
The triangles and the pins are different each time and you just have to look for a pattern.
For example, label the pins 1 (top) through 8 (looks like 11 o'clock).
    My sequence was 1 8 5 7 1 6 ????
So I answered 5514 (based on progressions of 1,5,1,5 starting from left and skipping every other number, and 8,7,6,5,4 starting from second space and skipping every other number). Convoluted, but it worked!
    Now for some headache remedy...

    ReplyDelete
  99. SPOILER

    A, D, C, D, E,

    F, G, H, I

    ReplyDelete
  100. @aitch -- @seb pointed out above -- look for the non-russian letters and they spell out the names of numbers.

Also, Thanks for the sequences -- at least I see patterns now, but maybe the wrong ones. (I'm entering them in ABCD order)

@zoz -- I also had Eritrea and thanks for letting me know you couldn't solve the same binary I have.

    ReplyDelete
  101. I tried starting a new game with the old one open and got the exact same puzzles! Guess I'll try starting over.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Russian letters: don't get, I don't have 4 numbers

    Triangles - comparing just A to A, B to B, etc.
    A is 9,1,8,?,7,3 = every other is sequence so ? is 2
    B is decreasing odd numbers (i.e. 13,11,9,?,5)
    C is 5,4,?,3,7,2 = every other so ? is 6
    D is pairs of multiples of 2 (i.e. 20 & 10, 14 & ?)

But you enter in left to right (not A,B,C,D)

    ReplyDelete
  103. TY @PuzzledinCA, I'm out now. Look for English letters, they spell out numbers...

    ReplyDelete
  104. @PuzzledinCA: are these your binaries? 0001 = 1 in decimal, 0011 = 3, (2 missing) 0101=4, 0110 = 5 (6 missing) etc

    ReplyDelete
  105. Sorry, last two wrong.

    0101 = 5, (so 4 is missing) and 0110 = 6 (so 7 is missing)

    ReplyDelete
  106. Never did understand the colors, just used seb's spoiler. Didn't see any explanation in the comments.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Colors
Column order changes, but the colors in each column don't.

    Bl,R,G,W,G,R,Bl,Bk,Bl,? R (order reversing)

    W,P,Bk,W,Y,Bl,W,G,LBl,? W (2 colors between each white)

B,G,G,R,B,G,R,R,B,? B (seems like you should have a double blue, don't really see the exact pattern though)

P,Y,Bl,W,Bk,R,LBl,G,P,? Y (order that you click through the colors - lame I know!)

    ReplyDelete
  108. Can anyone help me with the triangles please? I have

    A: 1 4 2 5 ? 6 = 3

    B: 8 7 ? 5 4 3 = 6

    C: 2 1 4 2 8 ? = 4

    D: 64 32 16 ? 4 2 = 8

So I enter 3648, but it doesn't work. What's wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  109. Pop! The triangle order is not ABCD, but the order as it is in the sequence.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Finally got rid of my headache. I'm a glutton for punishment, so I played again. Following are my answers for the Color Game I played, starting with the lower left cabinet in the kitchen:

Flag: Vertical Green on left, Horizontal Yellow and Red stacked on the right.
    BENIN
One of many sites to check: http://www.photius.com/flags/alphabetic_list.html

Diamonds (third drawer from top): 4 numbers + Sum in the center. Chose the number in each diamond that does NOT get used to arrive at the center number.

    3 9
    18
    4 6
    answer = 4
    ----------
    8 2
    17
    5 7
    answer = 5
    -----------
    9 1
    12
    5 6
    answer = 9
    -----------
    3 7
    16
    6 8
    answer = 8

    So, overall answer = 4598

Binary Sequence (lower right cabinet). My sequence was

    11011100101110101001 .... 0111 .... 0101 .... 0011 .... 0001

Fill in the single digit decimal numbers that should appear in the spaces.
Here is one site for Binary Conversion: http://www.mathsisfun.com/binary-decimal-hexadecimal-converter.html

The binary sequence is translated to, starting with first four digits on the left:
    13,12,11,10,9 .... 7 .... 5 .... 3 .... 1

The blanks are thus filled in as 8642

Grid with numbers and blank spaces (Upper cabinets, second from left):

    __ 16 __ __ __ 12 __ 10 9 __ __ ?

    5 __ ? __ __ __ 11 __ __ 14 15 __

    __ ? __ 4 __ __ 7 __ 9 10 __ __

    __ 12 __ __ 9 __ __ 6 5 __ ? __

Filling in the question marks, from top to bottom, gives 6723

Russian (Cyrillic) Letter Sequence (third upper cabinet from left):
Reading from left to right, there are four numbers spelled out in Latin alphabetic letters.
My sequence (with latin letters in bold)
    Я S Ъ e Й v Щ e Ж n Д s Э i Ю x Ё t З w Ц o Ф n Л i Ы n Ш e Ч
    So my answer is 7629

    ReplyDelete
  111. My pins are at 6, 5, 3, 5, 6, 7 so I made the first and and third 3 and 6 (6,3,6,3)?...not sure ifs that right but second and forth places I have no idea.....

    ReplyDelete
  112. Moving on to the next room...

    7x9 Number Grid (left cabinet)
In my case, the 6's were positioned so that they formed four numbers. In other games, 8's formed the numbers. My first number, 2, came from the following sequence:

    5 6 6 9
    6 5 7 6
    3 7 1 6
    9 7 6 1
    3 6 7 3
    6 3 3 1
    6 6 6 6

    Looking only at the 6's:
    x 6 6 x
    6 x x 6
    x x x 6
    x x 6 x
    x 6 x x
    6 x x x
    6 6 6 6

    My complete number was 2316

    Dominoes
If you don't know how to play, check here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dominoes

my sequence started with a horizontal ? | ? followed by a vertical | 6 |6 |, so the second ? has to be a 6. My last two dominoes were both horizontal:
    | 2 | 6 | ? | ? |, so the third ? has to be a 6. To fill in the other two ?, I looked at all the dominoes containing 6 dots on one side. I found 6-0, 6-1, 6-2, and 6-4. Missing were 6-3 and 6-5. Thus, my final sequence was 3665

    ReplyDelete
  113. THREE NUMBERS FOR AMERICAN FLAG PLEASE!!

    ReplyDelete
  114. Last room:

    Triangles (left drawer under couch)
Separate the numbers into sequences of A's, B's. C's, and D's. My first triangle had 10 at the top (A), 1 lower left corner (B), 5 lower right corner (C) and 37 in the middle (D). The second triangle was 5 (A), 3 (B), 3 (C), 30 (D). My sequences were as follows:

    A's only: 10, 5, ? , 4, 8, 3
    B's only: 1, 3, 5, ?, 9, 11
    C's only: 5, 3, 4, 2, 3, ?
    D's only: 37, 30, 23, 16, ?, 2

    Solving each sequence separately, gives
    A: 9 (reading every other number gives 10, 9, 8 and 5, 4, 3.
    B: 7 (complete sequence is 1, 3, 5, 7, 9)
    C: 1 ( 5 - 2 = 3. 3 +1 = 4. 4 - 2 = 2. 2 + 1 = 3. 3 - 2 = 1
    D: 9 (37 - 7 = 30. 30 - 7 = 23. 23 - 7 = 16. 16 - 7 = 9. 9 - 7 = 1

The number is entered in the order of ? from left to right. So my answer is 9791.
Again, every game is different - you have to use logic to solve the sequences.

    Pins:
Starting with the circle at the bottom and the pin pointing up, number each position 1 through 8 (so that 8 puts the circle at approximately 4 o'clock and the pin pointed to ~11 o'clock).
Using this numbering, my sequence can be written as
    3,2,4,1,5,8,?,?,?,?

The answer lies in looking at alternate numbers:
3,4,5 will be followed by 6, 7 (+one click for each progression).
2, 1, 8, will be followed by 7, 6 (minus one click for each progression).

So the answer is, according to the numbering scheme I'm using: 6776

    Mirrored Numbers (lower right cabinet):
Just read the numbers from left to right - each number is written in reverse, e.g., FIVE becomes EVIF
So, in my case EVIF OWT NEVES XIS = 5276

    Colors (top right cabinet)

-- Pink, Yellow, Blue, White, Black, Red, Cyan, Green, Pink: Yellow (the sequence starts over from the top)
    -- B,G,G,R,B,G,R,R,B: B (both G and R have appeared in pairs, B hasn't yet)
    -- W, P, Blk, W, Y, B, W, G, Cyan: W (White appears every third color, i.e., positions 1,4,7, and last)
-- B,R,G,W,G,R,B,Blk,B: R (Colors reverse order, with White becoming Black)

    And that's it!
[ Sorry for the long gap between installments. I had to go for a while].

    ReplyDelete
  115. Oops! On the Triangle solution, my last sentence should read "9-7=2" (not 1!)
Also, an easier way to look at the C's only sequence is to see every other number, so 53423? becomes 5_4_3 and 3_2_1

    That game was deceptively challenging!

    ReplyDelete
  116. After that I need a Mild Escape

    ReplyDelete
  117. @PuzzledinCA and others -- if you get the "bad" binary, the game accepts "3 5 8 9" as a solution. Apparently a bug.

    ReplyDelete
  118. A quick primer on binary
    Decimal means each digit is multiplied by 10 to the nth power starting with zero. i.e. 1, 10, 100, 1000, etc. 549 is 9x10^0 = 9x1, plus 4x10^1 = 40, plus 5x10^2 = 5x100 = 500.

    Binary is the same pattern, except it's 2 to the nth power. The multipliers are 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, etc. So 11001 is 1x1 plus 0x2 plus 0x4 plus 1x8 plus 1x16 = 1+8+16 = 25.

    Hope this helps

  120. @zoz, thanks for the detailed explanations -- these puzzles really needed it! I finally made it out.

I think some of the sequences could legitimately have more than one answer. But overall, a really good set of mind-bending puzzles.

  121. Blimey... that was a leap in difficulty between the rooms. Thanks all for the help.

  122. Even with the zoz´s explation for pins, I can´t see the progression of my pins. They pointing 1,8,7,8,1,2 ???? Any help and explanation pls?

  123. roberto yours goes back and forward and after every 3 it's a change. first 3 backwards from 1 to 8 to 7 then forwards from last 7 to 8 to 1 to 2 and the next one is going backwards again to 1 and keep doing that.

  124. thank you @zoz for the very good explanations and also thanks to all others who were giving great hints and a few I was solving by myself... =)
    but:
    I don't get the pins!
    following zoz's explanation mine are:
    187812????

  125. lol... after refreshing I've seen Robertos post... he has exactly the same pins...
now I'll try domzodoms explanation :)

  126. no... that's what I tried already several times... that doesn't work...
    still stuck :(

  127. I thik it should be 1,8,7,8, but don't know. played two times, never had those pins.

  128. no @domzodom... I tried this several times before I asked for help... that's the sequence I think it would be logical... but it doesn't work...
I also used a sequence with every second pin... or 4 pins and another 4... also mirroring... nothing...

  129. it would be interesting if Roberto found a solution...

  130. I tried that too. But it does not work. Still stuck.

  131. Thanks Sabine, but it makes no sense at first sight.

  132. there is a little sense: one step more in every sequence... :)

  133. I have the same binary that others are stuck on. Here's the full binary set without conversion:

    00100011....0101....01111000.... .... 101111011011110

Which seems like it should be:

    2 3 _ 5 _ 7 8 _ _ 11 12 13 14

So, it seems like the solution should be 4 6 9 10, but there's only 4 spaces. 469a also doesn't work... or brute force attempts, or 4700.

  134. @pellla, apparently Urban Garlic got 3589 to work on that sequence, most likely due to a bug (see post at 6:30 2/12/13)

  135. Thanks zoz, I totally missed that, and it worked for me.

  136. I actually thought someone tried to fool me!

"You have high level of intelligence."

"My" puzzles were even too easy for a 8.-year-old schoolkid!

    e. g. 4 clocks, one showing 1 o'clock...2...3...4 o'clock.

    "Solution" was 5,6,7,8.

Maybe you can select a difficulty level which I missed. At least for me, should I ever get such stupid puzzles again, I will quit the game unsolved.

  138. DIRECTLY to the reasonable part of the game:

    http://www.doodoo.ru/flashgames/surok_hard.htm

Saves you the trouble of solving "puzzles" where you have a black background and 4 gray fields and you have to put in 0,0,0,0.

    ;-)
