Well, I've thought about a sort of "fork" in your games.
Could you think about an optional mechanism that will give less hints?
So NOT like:
"This ... is too ... try to ... it with..." since this will always give away what to do next.;)
I would love to have an option to turn this off, to ponder about the next step myself.
Others may leave it turned on, since that's why it's called an "option".
...in case I was too confusing again: in the "think-yourself version" (= verbose hints off), there could be a more neutral word like "REMOVE ice". since the word "melt" will exclude everything like scraper, shovel, chainsaw (!), etc. :)

Some look suitable at first glance, but then they would have some rather gruesome scenes later that you would not want to see them...
