    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  21. Tried the numbers as order, so 24 from left, then 16 from left, then 8 from right etc. but no go :(

    ReplyDelete
  27. I'll use my code as an example:

    R3 R14 R18
    R5 R22 L19

    6 4 2 1 3 5

    So.. ¨6 is 1st so L19 is 1st.. Press key 19
4 is second... So R5.. Press key 48.. and so on

    ReplyDelete
  28. The numbers are the order.
    For me it was 4, 1, 2, 6, 3, 5
And my 4th in the other numbers was Right 6, so for me the first key to click was 6 keys from the right on the piano etc.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Trying to figire out the order now.. for the 43 AG 120

    ReplyDelete
  30. I guess the numbers on the keypad in the basement (after you did the piano) are the milk and the tv, but doesn't work :(

    ReplyDelete
  36. small tool i did that but nothing happens

    ReplyDelete
  37. What are the numbers (both lines) on your note?

    ReplyDelete
  38. L10 L17 R10
    L8 L6 R20
    456231
    so...
    8 6 32 17 42 10

    correct?

    ReplyDelete
  39. I think you messed up subtracting the right ones.
In maths 52-20=32, but here you have to count 52 as the first key, so 32 should be 33.
I think the same goes for the other right ones.

    ReplyDelete
  40. yes that was it thank you very much
    33 and 43

    please help

    ReplyDelete
  54. thank you! you are the best

    ReplyDelete
  55. Well, looking at the time of the post it's probably too late, but it should be:

    37, 36, 46, 36, 20, 43

But for others still to come, here's the general rule:

The bottom numbers give the order for the top numbers. With Joey's numbers as example, the bottom numbers are 234561

So you start with the second of the top numbers. His second top number is R16. Then the third of the top numbers (R17), then the 4th etc.

R stands for right and L for left.

When you have an L number you can just use the number (L20 would be key 20 from the left).

When you have an R number it's a bit tricky. You have to count from the right side. You can just count or you can do a little math.
When you do a little math, don't forget key 52 is the first key on the right and has to be counted too.
As example Joey's number again, his first would be R16 (so 16 keys counting from the right).
52-16=36 BUT... in that way you didn't count key 52 as first key, so add 1 and you get 37.

So in general the math for th R numbers is:
    (52 - R number) + 1 = the key.

  70. does anyone know how to get back into the basement? I know it has something to do with the piano, I just can't figure out the code. It isn't Kane or Rose, nor is it them together in either combination. I already escaped once, so I know how the get out code works, but there is a "secret" code to get you back to the basement from the first game. Any idea?

  75. For everybody still having trouble with the piano code, here is an easy way to figure it out.
First take the top group of numbers from the 'Unusual Note' eg. L18 L2 R17 L6 R2 L11
{These numbers are the keys you need to hit, the ones with L mean count from the left, and R from the right)
Now take all the numbers with a R in front of it and subtract that number from 53, which will give you the number of keys from the left so..

    53-R17 = L36
    and
    L18 L2 R17 L6 R2 L11
    becomes
    L18 L2 L36 L6 L51 L11

The next part is the order to press the keys, which is fairly straightforward take the second group of numbers 5,3,6,2,4,1 and match it up to the keys you have to hit, so if your keys were:
    1 2 3 4 5 6
    L18 L2 L36 L6 L51 L11

    the order will be:
    5 3 6 2 4 1
    L51 L36 L11 L2 L6 L18

    I hope that helps =)

  76. can you figure out my code to the piano

    ReplyDelete
  77. for the piano I have r23, l24, l23, l15, r22, and l24 the numbers are 6,3,4,1,2,5.
if I am correct my numbers should be 15,30,24,23,24,29 in that order. please let me know if im right or wrong

    ReplyDelete
  78. Alright... I seriously can't get the piano.
This is the second time I've tried to do this.

    L24 R12 R18
    L4 L20 R17

    365241

I don't have a L/R that lands on a three, and I have two fours. This is why I couldn't beat it yesterday either. I got double numbers and one number was one off. >.< Am I just stupid or is the game working against me.
