ReplyDeleteCan anybody help me with the ring puzzle underwater please? For all three rings the three points are top, two bottom, five left, and four right.They are definitively the same as in the walkthrough but the chest won't open. Did I miss something else?
ReplyDeleteDaveyden, Bill as the most intelligent sheep is still thinking and ponding all options. That may take a while - we are the silly ones to follow the stupid flock as we're playing every Selfdefiant game.
ReplyDeleteRing puzzle buggy. You can have it set right and it won't work sometimes. Spin the rings around a few times and it will eventually work. Or not.
ReplyDeleteVery untypically bad navigation. You can go from some rooms to other rooms but not back, sometimes you have to click on the passageway and sometimes you have to use the navbar...just sloppy work there.
I liked the concepts, the underwater section was a particularly refreshing bit, and even though it was a lot of the same old stuff, there was plenty to do so it wasn't boring.
I restarted, and now it worked. Strange. Liked this game though, it was not easy at all.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see that so many people were able to play this game. I always enjoy Selfdefiant games but sadly this one was unplayable. Mind you, literally unplayable. When the start screen came up and I hit "play", nothing happened except crashing Safari. Then I tried it on Firefox and no luck. Oh well, I guess this is one I'll have to sit out.
ReplyDeleteI think there's a tiny bug in the under water puzzle. When I lined up the 5 dots correctly I just had to move the outer ring cause because the other two were showing correct position. But nothing worked, then when I moved the other two rings by clicking just once, suddenly the 5 dots were on the other side completely and after moving them to the correct place, suddenly it worked. So to me it seems like it's showing that it's in the correct place but not actually being in the correct place.
ReplyDeleteI've searched every skull, every nook and cranny, I can't find any knife. I've found 1 scarab beetle and that's it. I'll give this up tonight and perhaps try again in the morning.

ReplyDeleteat last. for late commers: For scarabs look around after you light a torch. make sure you light all the torches. make sure you cut every vine that you can cut. blue gem underwater is somewhat hidden. go in from a barred entrance underwater to get that. Ad over all. check under every bone and scull

ReplyDeleteGo left, move 2 skulls for sword and scarab1. Pull lever.
Go right to snake scene, use sword on vines, pull lever.
Go up put skulls and bones on altar for small stone disc.
Back to opening scene, grate is open. Go through, see lever box, go up to cog wall, then left. See hanging vines clue for lever box. Move bone and get stick.
Open lever box and get pick axe.
Go down from lever box and left, light stick on flame. Go up into dark room, use torch and lights come on. Use pick axe on statue face and get purple gem. Use on snake for large stone disc.
Go back through lever box room to vines and left. Light torches and get pipes puzzle. Complete puzzle so that all ends are connected and pipes go from start on left to finish on right. Go out and pull lever. Get medium stone disc.
Go down and to the right to the statue, place all 3 discs which opens grate over well in altar room to the right and up.
Go to room with altar and open well. Look at disc on wall and see where symbols are. 5 dots at 9 o'clock. Go down into well, pull lever on left, go right and set all rings so 5 dots are at 9 o'clock. Get cog, go right and pull lever. Go up, left, left. Use sword on vines for scarab2. Pull lever.
Go down, right and through opened grate. Get blue gem using pick axe. Go back up to altar room, or just let air run out and you get there.
Go to flame (D, L, L) light stick again. Go to cogs (R, through grate, U,) place cog and go through opened grate. Light torch. L, L light torch for scarab3. See symbol box, go right to see clue on wall. Use sword on vines at right for scarab4. Open symbol box and get gold brick.
Back down the well....R, R, U place gold brick. Go through wall, get green gem move skull on L for scarab5.
Back up in the dry, go through grate by cogs, place gems go through opened grate.
Place scarabs to escape.
2048 seconds! wow!
