ReplyDeleteThe sequence matters. See the color hint first by turning off light. Then move only red tile first. See the red point on wall and reveal the last color hint.
ReplyDeleteMy power lead won't connect to the lamp. Instead, the lamp plug will always auto-connect to its former receptacle and turn back on.

ReplyDeleteAhh! You have to pry off both the red and yellow tile to make the extension cord "work" with the lamp!

@nokra yes you DO need to restart since you must still be able to turn the lights off to see the red spot.
ReplyDeleteOnce the cord is connected to the lamp, there is no way to detach it again.

Find up view and unplug light
Go around room, see 4 digit code, plug in light
Find safe in a corner of floor, use key and open with code, get awl
Use awl to get red tile, then to open box, get cord
Turn off light to see red dot in wall, use awl to open a place there
Plug light in and grab Blue and Green tiles from place
Grab Yellow tile, the lights no longer will turn off so connect the cord to unplugged light cord, then floor
Study box top colors and find the matching places for the ones inside, when you have it correct, there is a click
Colored dots are now visible under the LOCKED view near floor manhole
Look at hole in wall and see the color order..use it and OPEN the manhole!
Escape down and out a tunnel!

ReplyDeleteLast night I got stuck where you did and gave up.
However, I had to find the red dot BEFORE opening the chest and taking the cord. After doing so, light would not turn off anymore.

ReplyDeleteYes this game has a sort of dead-end, since you must be able to see the red dot and this is only possible when lights are off. But once you're inhibited in turning it off ... well ... you know you cannot successfully reach the end.
That's why there is a Retry button.
