  2. Got fence pailings from under cushion and bird-house. Open top drawer using design under birdhouse, gives a stick? with clue on it.

    ReplyDelete
  3. change the colour of the fence pailings and use colours on second drawer for a locked diary.

    ReplyDelete
  4. take off one leg from the chair then put back some pieces on it to make a hook

    ReplyDelete
  5. Use the stick clue, on the top drawer of other set of drawers for bird.

    ReplyDelete
  6. trucmuche, where did you find the screwdriver to take off leg. Btw, i made a mistake. The fence pailings under the cushion go on the birdhouse.

    ReplyDelete
  7. @clio_rose
Look closely at the loose fence piece

I'm stuck on the 4-number clue

    ReplyDelete
  8. The diary shows a clue to take off a piece the fence, look closely at it

    ReplyDelete
  9. argh got to go, good luck guys

    ReplyDelete
  10. 4# clue : look at the pencil and take the half of each letter for numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  11. four number clue is on the stick. See that one half of the letter, symbols are darker? Use that darker bit for the numbers. Thats what gives the bird. If i needed to use the pailings as a screwdriver, im stuck, because i cant move the bird off them. Oooopsie.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Thanks Zazie!

    Moving on :)

    ReplyDelete
  13. I dont have the key to open the diary.

    ReplyDelete
  14. i see one key out the window, and the other in the skylight, but only have the stick/pencil and diary.

    ReplyDelete
  15. @clio, not that pailings.. on the diary, you see that there is one fence that's darker? when you go back to the bird house, you'd be able to take it off and turn it to sd

    ReplyDelete
  16. @clio take fence on the left of bird house

    ReplyDelete
  17. The bird is sitting in front of bird house but i have no idea for L/R clue.

    ReplyDelete
  18. ohhhhh....Thank you mhtyhr. Got my chair now. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Ah! Got it!!
Got on the chair, and unlock the diary
I kept on looking for something to cut the key off :D

    ReplyDelete
  20. You can remove a screw under chair in close view and put it back , but what for ? Maybe we need another cross SD ?

    ReplyDelete
  21. I have the clue for the zodiac sign from the diary, but don't know what the animals represent...

    ReplyDelete
  22. Connect the dots. It spells BIRD.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Okay, opened the zodiac drawer and got this thingy to put on the 3x3 grid, and another puzzle

    ReplyDelete
  24. Anybody got a pencil sharpener?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Bird lifted his wing after L/R from book and i have got blue yellow squares which i put under bird cage (on the square plate) and now there are lots of numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I have made some kind of hook (merci trucmuche !), but I can't reach any of the key (one behind the window, one on the ceiling). I can't open the diary.

    ReplyDelete
  27. What does the purple light do? Missing the left knob on the window for left right input.

    ReplyDelete
  28. put chair in center of room and click on key on ceiling with diary to unlock it

    ReplyDelete
  29. @Scott Ross, how do you connect the dot? I have a pencil-like thing, but looks like it could use some sharpening

    ReplyDelete
  30. I don´t know how to solve the number/square riddle....

    ReplyDelete
  31. @seb,

Thank you but... I can't use the chair anymore, it's missing one leg !

    ReplyDelete
  32. Well, I rebuilt the chair and could use it again !

    ReplyDelete
  33. Ah okay.. after I solved the many number puzzle, flipped a switch, and now when you press the many buttons round the pictures, one of them unlock a middle drawer, and got a knife to sharpen pencil

    ReplyDelete
  34. don't unscrew leg, you can screw it again

    ReplyDelete
  35. I did the dots on paper but the 4 letter code is still not available.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Actually, the picture you get by the color/number/square puzzle represent the two lamps and show you which dot to push to for one unlock the drawer and for the other turn the lamp into a purple or black light... but I don't know what latter is for.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I took off one chair leg...

    ReplyDelete
  38. And where to apply this hook now ?

    ReplyDelete
  39. @Zazie, 10 blue on top means, you need to have 10 consecutive blue buttons

3(Yellow)_2(Blue)_3(Yellow) means, 3 consecutive yellow, blanks, 2 consecutive blue, blanks, 3 consecutive yellow.

Starting with the two vertical 10's is probably easiest..

    ReplyDelete
  40. I have a pencil, but can't seem to connect the dot still

    ReplyDelete
  41. Got it, cut down diary key with cutters and hold them against the black light

    ReplyDelete
  42. @mhtyhr have you sharpended it with cutters?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Yep, I did.
Do I have to do anything, e.g put the diary somewhere?

    ReplyDelete
  44. And out! Stick around for help.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Nope just click 1, then 2, then 3

    ReplyDelete
  46. with the pencil highlighted. If you click the dot picture it will get bigger too. Other than that it won't work.

    ReplyDelete
  47. ok, it works now! Not sure what happened there ..
    Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  48. I still don´t understand the numbers Sarah, can you explain which buttons have what colours ?

    ReplyDelete
  49. @Zazie, start with the the middle rows down. there's 10 blue dots, so the whole line is blue. the rows next to them are 0, so take away the ? and leave them dark. Then you start from left to right. It's always as written 1 yellow, 2 blues. so you start with the leftover ? and turn them into 1 yellow and 2 blues. And the middle 2 blues are already there... Hope that makes sense.

Sorry about my writing. I'm having a cold here, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  50. That was quite a workout.. Thanks everyone for your help

    ReplyDelete
  51. If I remember correctly, the first line left to right is:
yellow blue blue dark blue blue dark blue blue blue

  54. Phew Thx Sarah and mhtyhr !! Finally got it.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Eggcellent game! But wouldn't have made it withouth your help! Thanks for hte good hints and explanations!

    ReplyDelete
  56. I am out too, thanks everybody for the big help on the grid puzzle !

    ReplyDelete
  57. Thank you sooooooo much for the pic of the puzzle, mhtyhr. I was clicking like a loony.

Thank you all, for the help and hints. Finally out now.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Love Tomatea! Great game. Managed to get out without any help. The biggest struggle for me was the code on the pencil. Took me forever to work out the numbers, and all the time it was staring me in the face.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Hmmmm... Still stuck! How do I get key from outside? How do I find clue for 4 digit number after solving colours and numbers puzzle? I did the diary, the bird, connected the dots etc. etc.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Where do I use the number from key? Where to use the R/L clue I get after click bird's wing? What to do with the "hook"?

    ReplyDelete
  61. Ah! Forgot completely the 4# inside cb under cage. Out too!

    ReplyDelete
  62. q. You need to hold the key from the ceiling, against the blue light. It has the 4 digit code for behind the grid puzzle.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Hum. How do you get the bird to lift its wings?

    ReplyDelete
  64. I didn't have any problem with the grid (coloured small squares), but now I can see that another 4 digit code is required and I can't see any hint for it. And what about the bird ? It lifted one of its wings, but I can't do anything here either.

    ReplyDelete
  65. how do I sharpen the pencil. I have got the bird to lift it's wing but what goes there? and what goes on the window? to get second key?

    ReplyDelete
  66. pdgph, climb on the chair and use the cutter to get the key from the ceiling. Then hold that key against the blue light. Dont forget that after you open behind the grid, click the switch. That will activate both paintings. One painting allows you to open a drawer, and the other turns on the blue light lamp.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Oh, fianally got it.... in the diary, click the arrow and circle buttons, then the square, insert clock key... done!

    ReplyDelete
  68. evans, by clicking that switch/lever behind grid, you open drawer for knife to sharpen pencil with.

    ReplyDelete
  69. @q Did you get the key cutting the string? You put it on the right lamp to see number.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Well, I activated the switch that was hidden behind the grid. I could switch on 2 lamps, that unlocked a drawer and gave to me... a box cutter ?!

    ReplyDelete
  71. Tried to play again, but my diary had disappeared before I could use it on the blue light !

    ReplyDelete
  72. Can´t find the switch behind the grid

    ReplyDelete
  73. Hint-through.

mini fence pailings under cushion, Click them for colour clue.
Check grid pattern under bird-house, its a clue.
    Turn right, no clues yet.
Turn right, open top drawer using grid clue, gives pencil.
Open middle drawer, using colour pailing clue, gives diary. Note front of diary gives clue about pailing around bird house. Go there and get pailing, open it to reveal screwdriver.
Turning again, use screwdriver on chair to release it. Save hinge and screw. Grab chair and place it, same scene. Hold diary against key to unlock diary. Note all clues in diary.
Zoom on pencil and zoom again on pattern on end. That will reveal a 4 digit code. Enter it in drawer to get bird. Place the three pailings/bird on bird house. Use bird bow tie clue in diary on bird house to get bird to lift wing.
Use clue from diary to open astrological cupboard for grid pieces. Place on grid and solve puzzle.
Flick switch behind grid puzzle. You can now click buttons on both paintings. First painting will unlock drawer, which gives knife. Second painting will turn on blue-lamp.
Sharpen pencil with knife and do puzzle in diary. (make sure you zoom on puzzle else the pencil wont work). Now you have a word to open the other drawer. That gives wind-up key for birdie.
Use key on birdie to get L/R clue.
Use chair and knife to get key from ceiling.
Use key against blue lamp for 4 digit code needed behind grid puzzle. That gives window knob. Place knob and then use L/R clue to open panel in window.
View chair, turn chair over, use screw driver to remove leg. View leg add hing, screw and use screwdriver. Use that as a hook to retrieve key from outside window.
Key on door and you are out.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Luna, it is like a triangular lever on the right side behind grid puzzle.

    ReplyDelete
  75. pdgph, use box cutter on pencil, and on string to retrieve key from ceiling. Use THAT key against the blue light. There is a 4 digit code on it.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Clio
can you explain the bird Bow tie clue
I cant get bird to lift wing!

    ReplyDelete
  77. I don't know why after I have gotten the grid puzzle completely correct, it still won't let me solve it (no response when I click the button below the grid puzzle). Can anyone help?

    ReplyDelete
  78. JoeM, notice how in the diary the triangles are? Use the correct shape, because on birdhouse they are opposite sides. From memory, the birdhouse is....R/O/L/R/O/L (but i could be wrong)

    ReplyDelete
  79. out finally. The pencil just wouldn't work on the #'s in the diary at all. I had to restart and do everything again and the 2nd time it worked.
Thanks for all the helps left on here.

    ReplyDelete
  80. @clio_rose,

Thank you... I was desperately looking for the pencil, and I've just understood that the "paper with an already used hint" was a non-sharpened pencil !

    ReplyDelete
  81. 1dot12, ......mhtyhr at 3.54 posted a pic. That is what i used to solve the grid.

    ReplyDelete
  82. hahahha, pdgph...i thought it was a stick. I had no idea it was a pencil, till someone else said it.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Yup, I checked, it's exactly correct... I think the game is buggy maybe? Anyway I've given up, tried twice already. =)

    ReplyDelete
  84. Well, this time the chair can't be repaired in order to cut the string that holds the key... The game is over for me.

    ReplyDelete
  85. pdgph, i forgot to use the screwdriver when i repaired my chair. Make sure you tighten the screw, with the screwdriver.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I can't get the horoscope clue. They all look like rams to me. Surely the middle one is capricorn. What am I missing?

    ReplyDelete
  87. @clio_rose,

I'm afraid that this time the screw has simply vanished (it's not on the leg/hook, it's not on the chair). I've unmouted the leg, built the hook, then dismantled the hook in order to rebuild the chair (I needed it to bring the diary to the key). Then, I made the hook again (I suppose that I've used it, I don't remember where). Now I have a leg and a chair and a screwdriver, but no more screw...

  88. minxi - first is taurus

    ReplyDelete
  89. Thank you everyone for your help :)

    ReplyDelete
  90. Thank you DrLee - I thought the first was taurus, second the ram, brute-forced the third, but none worked.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Thank you everyone for your help :)

    ReplyDelete
  92. minxi and DrLee, without being too crude, I noticed the first pic in the horoscope diary clue, ummm....seemed to have five legs..till i noticed one leg wasnt a leg. Thats when i guessed what that one was.

  94. Noooo! A TomaTea!

Couldn't you publish something like that on an ugly rainy day instead, at 12 centigrades, the sewers smelling like moldy towels?! ;)

Sun burning almost at the level of body temperature over here ... I just can't keep sitting inside like a couch potato!
See...I don't care whether the other games come on very hot days (since most great developers have now retired, except for Tesshi, Robamimi, Haretoko, Gatamari...so the rest is Games2WHATEVER, Ena, 123Buggy...) but I DO care if you put them out on such days! :-D

So no live one for me today...

Going outside into the real world...happy playing y'all.

    ReplyDelete
  95. fantastic game as always! Thanks so much Toma Tea!

    ReplyDelete
  96. I have the same problem like 1dot12.
I do the grid, click the button, but nothing!

    ReplyDelete
  97. Thank you cliorose - I noticed that too! Ended up brute forcing - still don't know what/why the combination was.

Arbeitslooser - agree with you on game developers. How do you know they have retired? Enjoy your day in the sun!

    ReplyDelete
  98. I need help with the zodiac clue.

    ReplyDelete
  99. @mel, it is.....as far as i can recall, bull, ram and goat. ..that is..taurus, aries, capricorn. (i think)

    ReplyDelete
  100. Thank you for the hints. I wouldn't have made it on my own.
Very nice game, as usual for Tomatea !

    ReplyDelete
  101. With the grid puzzle, make sure to click on question marks to clear them but leave the square dark.

I have problem with pencil and puzzle, as well, even when zoomed in.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Hurray, finally!
Thank you very much, Jack H

    ReplyDelete
  103. select the pencil, zoom puzzle, short click on the number one, short click on the two and so on

    ReplyDelete
  104. boy this one must have a bug..... zoomed in on puzzle in diary and tried to use pencil on it but nothing happens
    very disappointing :(
    hate having to restart

    ReplyDelete
  105. @Jack_H ..... THANK YOU for grid help. never clicked the question marks!

    ReplyDelete
  106. agree with you on game developers. How do you know they have retired? Enjoy your day in the sun!

Thanks!! And that WAS quite an enjoyment, really! Even though I had to skip this live one because of it. ... How do I know? Well, if the frequency of their releases takes more than 1 year, one might speak of retirement (or quasi-retirement, if you insist)
    Examples?
    -Bianco-Bianco
    - HILGREED

Whilst the latter would only release a game once in a blue moon, the former seems actually retired from flash game business. What a pity; he was one of the best.

    ReplyDelete
  107. OH NO

It's that ad provider thing again...

Got only a black frame where the game should be...this always happens if their LOCAL (!) ad provider connection has some flaw, or interruption...

    ReplyDelete
  108. What is that type of number puzzle called?

    ReplyDelete
  109. well, i give up. no matter what i do (followed directions above so many times) and still can't get the pencil to work on the diary clue.
    very disappointed.....
have to quit trying ..... tired of restarting.... sigh

    ReplyDelete
  110. Can't manage to take leg from chair.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Out~ with no help! Tomated never disappoints ;)

@chad as for the chair leg: look at the chair in about item view, then turn it upside down, use SD on it's left leg and u'll have it!

    ReplyDelete
  112. @brin3m, after u use knife on pencil, go to the diary page and click on it AGAIN. Then u can use the pencil to connect the dots. Click the 1st dot and then on the second: a line should appear. Continue with the same process until the end :)

    ReplyDelete
  113. @Nini xD

Thank you so much. I don't know why I couldn't do it before!

    ReplyDelete
  114. 1 star awful, clue's are woeful

    ReplyDelete
  115. iconland2003 sorry but u can't be serious. Tomatea is one of the best developers and this game was really good as always.
As for the clues. clio was kind enough to write a Hint-through, and a lot of players also helped. Maybe u should check previous posts and then, if u still can't get it, I'll be glad to help :)

    ReplyDelete
  116. I'm glad I came back to check on the game! Thanks Jack_H!!! Finally I can complete it! \o/

    ReplyDelete
  117. as TomaTea games go, this one's come surprisingly soon after the last one - but still it was just as good as we got to expect it form the guy.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Nini,
it's just like that... Happens to me too at times that there1s a game everybody's raving about, still I find it awful...

I agree with you on TomaTea being one of the best around - but hey, we are all different ;)

    ReplyDelete
  119. Beautiful game. Can't wait for the next one! I love Tomatea!

    ReplyDelete
  120. Wow! Thanks for the walkthrough!
