I let my kids do these. They love them!
ReplyDeleteoctogon angle question is wrong, it asks for inner not outer.
ReplyDeleteiconland2003, That doesn't make it wrong. It just means you have to think a bit more.
ReplyDeleteit's wrong in more ways than one, for example the inner angle is 45, if it's after the outer wouldn't that be 360 - 45 not 180 - 45
ReplyDeleteiconland2003 - ??? if the inner angle was 45, it would be a triangle.
ReplyDeleteHmm... I viewed a math website and found my issue, I was assuming all the octagon's interior angle's added up to 360 degree's. Ergo I was dividing by 8 to get each angle, however it seems that an octagon has 1080 degree's, thus 1 angle 135 degree's.
ReplyDeleteor
(number of sides-2) × 180° / number of sides
there's nothing wrong here
ReplyDeleteI'm stuck on the 2nd one!
