  6. How did you make the torch? I think I lit the match from the egg shaped thing in first screen, but it won't melt the ice cube with the key in it.

    ReplyDelete

  24. Sorry Robert - can't remember. I think they were all pretty much in plain view, but I could be mistaken.

    ReplyDelete
  25. thanks Robert for hint about using sticks for house, I couldn't find where to use them

    ReplyDelete
  26. I am soooo stuck in 3. I tried to burn down the forest with my torch, thought that might get some movement.

    ReplyDelete
  27. 4 rocks go in last scene - can't place them yet, think I need to find that elusive butterfly before I can. (You can also change the positions of the butterflys - possibly according to where the leaves are pointing?)

    ReplyDelete
  28. Bandy - 4 rocks get used twice. First in the river then placed according to colour code.

    ReplyDelete
  29. dogwood - you need to place all the 'tear drop' icons onto the tree to progress to scene four

    ReplyDelete
  30. Correct Robert. Note colour and direction of leaves.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Thanks, Robert, but I only have 4 of them, need 6 right? and I am missing 2 of the circles to put in the holder.

    ReplyDelete
  32. dogwood - get clicking lol

    ReplyDelete
  37. the tear drops are in there! not sure about that bloody butterfly for scene 4 though!
Still have the torch... maybe I need to use it again?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Also, there seems to be a lot of hotspots where nothing happens when clicked.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I too can't find the butterfly that goes in the 4th scene and I'm looking for 9th stick

    ReplyDelete
  40. The torch is not needed again. Really sorry I can't remember where the butterfly was!

    ReplyDelete
  41. One more tear drop, any hints? one especially hard to find, which screen? Robert, don't try to burn down the forest, didn't work for me. Why do those buttons on the trees beep?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Got it! 200% zoom did the trick.

    ReplyDelete
  43. tear drops
    2 in scene 1
    2 in scene 2
    2 in scene3

    Sticks
    2 in scene 1
    3 in scene 2
    4 in scene 3
    3 in scene 4

    ReplyDelete
  44. okay, rebooted and still can't find scene 4 butterfly. i need help!

    ReplyDelete
  45. the scene 4 butterfly is in the scene with the river, it's yellow

    ReplyDelete
  46. placed all butterflies (sorry I can't be of help, it's early and I'm bad at these things) did all of the puzzles (house rocks, etc) have nothing left in inventory but my torch but still don't have key for final gate...

    ReplyDelete
  47. Ericka - you need to rotate the butterflies to the correct position. Note leaf colour and direction in each scene.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Another excellent Games2rule game. You need plenty of patience to attempt these, but there is ultimately some kind of logic to all the puzzles. Suddenly everything falls into place and the game is over. Having said that, I have yet to complete one of these without one or two of your helpful hints - thanks all! Finding all the sticks to build the house was the hardest part. I'd have made these a little more visible, because going round and round in circles searching for them was incredibly frustrating. Nevertheless 5 stars for all the thought that goes into games like this.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Tchou - where abouts? It isn't obvious

    ReplyDelete
  50. Robert I finally caught up. I think the missing butterfly is pink? I can't find it either.

  52. Robert, the 'scene 4' butterfly is right at the end. You need to go back to place it.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I have clicked pretty much everywhere in that final scene - no butterfly...

    ReplyDelete
  54. Are you supposed to be able to place those 4 rocks and then find the butterfly? I can't get them to stick.

    ReplyDelete
  55. after you build the house and go to the next scene (with the river) I'm sure that's where I got it and went back to scene 4 (the scene with the 6 coloured shapes and purple eye) to put it on the tree trunk

    ReplyDelete
  56. dogwood, 'wash' the rocks in the stream first!

    ReplyDelete
  57. It is definately there in plain sight, Robert. Looks like you might have a bug! (Excuse the pun).

    ReplyDelete
  58. I'm not finding that butterfly by the river.

    ReplyDelete
  59. you have to put the rocks in the river where they will change to a colour, then take them out and put them on the ground where the 4 spaces for them are, and put them in the order of the four coloured circles in a previous scene

    ReplyDelete
  60. bloody hell - didn't wash the rocks. got that bloody butterfly now. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  61. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Good grief, I have to wash things too??! Thanks Huw, clean rocks work every time. And all this to end up blocked by a locked gate!

    ReplyDelete
  63. OK, so now how to unlock the gate? You know, I'd still like to burn something with that torch, doesn't work on the gate either.

    ReplyDelete
  64. dogwood, you have to reposition all the coloured butterflies according to the direction of the coloured thorns/buds on the plants in the various scenes.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I'm going back to try that now, I just can't seem to figure out what direction they are telling me to turn the butterflies.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Think of the positions as compass points (N,NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW) and just point the 'top' of the butterfly in that direction.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Whew, it was a little startling when that key appeared! I am out of the woods, thanks to everyone, especially Robert and Huw. I haven't caught a live game in a long time, much fun. Hope to work with you guys again.

  68. The only thing that held me up was 1 bamboo, thank-you bandytrc 6/25/14, 6:35 AM

  69. I loved this one... I could not have completed without scouring the hints you all wrote. Thank you... scenery, complexity... superb!

    ReplyDelete
  70. I have the red butterfly in the post above the hooks in the 4th scene where the yellow butterfly is supposed to be, and I can't get it out again. Any thoughts other than a restart?

    ReplyDelete
  71. POP - The butterflies go into different scenes than the colors on the leaves. The spot lights up when you have the right butterfly. Then you have to tilt them per their matching leaves to get the key in Scene 1.

    ReplyDelete
  72. when click "next" or "close ad" or "play" other windows open, so there must be some embedded codes or something. won't play these games with this kind of junk.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Excellent game! I had a little trouble matching the color butterflies to the color leafs, especially the butterfly in the first scene. That looked yellow to me, but there was an even brighter yellow later on. I set all the other butterflies and then went back to that one and bf'd it and got a key.

    ReplyDelete
  74. The orange butterfly is red.
    The red butterfly is pink.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Absolutely loved the game!!!
