Not an escape game. Love your games Sniffy, but really dont like these kinds of games posted here.

ReplyDeleteSSS Girl - If you are not fond of this type of game why do you play them or do you just give a negative comment/rating. Not all games listed here are "Escape Games". Considering there are riddle games, hidden object, etc. It's good to mix it up a bit to keep it from getting too stale.
ReplyDeleteVenn Detta, SSS Girl obviously doesn't know that this site presents 6 different types of games, and if one clicks on the "Escape" or the "Room Escape" links at the top of the page, this particular Sniffmouse game isn't even listed. So, it's a massive fail on her part.
ReplyDeleteAs for this type of game, I do enjoy them, but my only concern is the apparent copyright infringement in this one, from Futurama and Disney. I'm not certain, but it doesn't appear that those images are open domain.
Yes, a massive failure I am. Thanks for clearing that up for me MercurialRust, albeit coming across quite snarky, though it's hard to tell if that's your intention or not. And Venn Detta, it's not that I'm not fond of them, I simply thought, though as it's clearly been pointed out to me now, that this was and Escape Game site. Silly me for inferring that from the Title of the Webpage.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think stating an opinion/FEEDBACK would get everyone's panties in such a bunch (and stated quite nicely IMO), and will certainly rethink posting like comments in the future.

ReplyDeleteI'm thinking that If the game author does not get feedback about which type of games are liked and not liked, then they will know more about what we want to play vs. posting games that only a few like. There are always going to be differing opinions. Some people like slider type puzzles and others hate them! My feedback is that I don't care for slider puzzles, and I don't play them when they are part of a game, but my FEEDBACK to the game maker is just that. If I give an opinion about a game and don't play the game, of course I would not rate it either one star or five - that would be unfair. I appreciate the effort to offer a variety of games to all the players who like both types of games - it is quite nice of you, Guntars Shelis!
