  1. Hey Vance, good to see you back.
'We' solved the partial tic-tac-toe. The other two are still a mystery.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Vance, see comments from 7:52 am to 8:32 am 8/18/14 for the partial tic-tac-toe.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Hi everyone! I'm glad I didn't miss everything.

    ReplyDelete
  4. No Peggy, we waited for you .....

    ReplyDelete
  5. Thank you, arrie. Always looking out for me. hahaha

    ReplyDelete
  6. Hi welcome back everybody ! I felt rather alone here :-)

    ReplyDelete
  7. So two safes to crack plus the door code, i am no help i fear, i tried everything i can imagine.

    ReplyDelete
  8. EA, HEEELLLLLPP!

For the 9 - 8 puzzle, we start at #7, but then what? Is it a maze? I've tried going from number to number in sequences, groupings, & nothing is working.

    ReplyDelete
  9. The same here Peggy grrr

    ReplyDelete
  10. I'm hoping if I write my thought processes, somebody might be able to adjust it to work with their thoughts and figure this out.

For the 3 - 11 puzzle, 5, 7, 9 are the odd numbers between 3 & 11. We've decided adding 8 to each won't work, the numbers for each to equal 11 don't work. The next odd numbers in sequence don't work. I don't see any digital correlation between 3 & 11...

    What did I miss?

    ReplyDelete
  11. if we start at the 7, does 6 follow the seven or are we looking for an 8 that the 7 was following?

    ReplyDelete
  12. And hi everyone. I am in and out still, but when I light the BBQ, I will send smoke signals to EA! But let's first re-fresh our thinking caps!

    ReplyDelete
  13. The 3 to 11 one.
    Difference is 8, 5 to 11 = 6, 7 to 11 = 4, 9 to 11 = 2.
I counted the lines of the numbers (8 has 7 lines) = 7645 ... wrong.

Two 1's next to each other. I attached the other numbers to each other, so 33 glued shows an 8 on the right = 8678 ... wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  14. LOL Peggy, I thought I would do the same ... at least WE all understand each other, now we should learn to understand E-Addict.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I totally agree, arrie. I was just thinking how differently my brain works than E-Addict's. haha

    ReplyDelete
  16. I hope no raindrops will be falling on your head larue, I'm repeating the song. Ah yes, I see the signals passing by on their way to Lebanon ..

It's not adding up to 3, because you can't add up anything to 9.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I tried the same as you all, nope....even mirroring the 3 etc...
For the 9-->8 safe i counted for ex. 7654 and looked for numbers right of these #s (the following numbers). But there are more 7s and 4s....

    ReplyDelete
  18. larue, we might need those smoke signals. It doesn't look like EA's around to help.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Ok it seems that i have to spend another night in this room :-(

    ReplyDelete
  20. 11 contains 4 lines, 1 lined added to the four numbers would make different numbers except for the 7. Wrong idea (but a nice one).

    ReplyDelete
  21. *puts mints on Zazie's pillow..

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yes it makes some kind of U upside down, doesn´t work.

    ReplyDelete
  23. With all our ideas we could make our own -E-A game, something like Fake-E-Addict--Twist-1.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Thank you larue !!!! And lol arrie :-)
    Where is EA ????

    ReplyDelete
  25. These are all great ideas. Maybe EA will use them in their next game. (I'm afraid to use his/her anymore. I've been horribly wrong in the past.)

For the 9 - 8 puzzle, I've tried arranging the sets of numbers, large to small, in each row, and then adding them. Wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  26. See, arrie, we really DO think alike. You said about the same thing I did. You just posted it faster than I did. Are we related?

    ReplyDelete
  27. I fear that we can´t finish this without the help of EA. Although he wrote yesterday that someone solved it already (in a forum, no idea where) So where is this superbrain please ?

    ReplyDelete
  28. If we go back far enough we certainly are Peggy !

With all the combinations we tried, it's strange we didn't stumble over the right answer :)

    ReplyDelete
  29. I am just so desperated that i tried 0000 on both safes ,nothing of course rofl.

    ReplyDelete
  30. lol the mints aren't working..we need ice cream fast!!!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Yes Zazie, that IS a desperate action .... but a funny one.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Yes larue, icecream or some coins to buy it....EA you are cruel to us lol.

    ReplyDelete
  33. There IS something like a sequence ...
    3 - 5 - 7 - 9 - 11

    ReplyDelete
  34. Haha are we all stupid ? I am sure when we know the solution, well all will say : ahh yes of course :-(

    ReplyDelete
  35. Zazie, I'm not so sure about that. EA's logic doesn't always seem so clear.

    But, we love you, EA.
Thanks for creating these twisted games.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Hello everyone .. so till 2 safes ? .. okay for 5 7 9 puzzle , think what can you do with the digit 5 ? 7 ? and 9 ?

and btw Thanks Zazie and Larue for being here because i've been literally tortured by arrie NL and Peggy yesterday ! lol

    ReplyDelete
  37. Yes arrie i am aware of it but nothing works, i also tried 1315 and 4321 to count the sequence down, nope.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Haha EA, i am happy that you are here now ! Even when i am so stuck, i love your games endlessly :-)

    ReplyDelete
  39. YAAAAY! E-Addict's back!

Well, if saying we love you is torture, EA, I'll refrain from saying it again. lol

    ReplyDelete
  40. E-Addict, how does it feel to be sooo very welcome ??
Oh, wait, what did you write there ? Hmm.

    ReplyDelete
  41. " Zazie, I'm not so sure about that. EA's logic doesn't always seem so clear. " .. yeah Peggy sure .. always my fault , my way of thinking !

    for 9 -> 8 puzzle , nine -> eight .. so start with seven -> then ?

    ReplyDelete
  42. If you read what we wrote you can see we know very well what to do with a 5, a 7 and so on.
    That\s not the point.
The point is : what do YOU do with them ?? hahaha

    ReplyDelete
  43. I could melt them in a pot 579 :-) No idea EA.

    ReplyDelete
  44. We could order 5, 7 or 9 icecreams, is that your idea?

    ReplyDelete
  45. okay what digits can you make with the digit 5 ? if with 3 you can make 1 , 3 and 7 ? ( 11 when added together ) !

    ReplyDelete
  46. and yeah Peggy i love you too .. sure ! :D

    ReplyDelete
  47. None without changing the position within the 5, but you didn't change the position of the lines in the 3 to get the other 2 digits.

    ReplyDelete
  48. arrie NL e.g. with 3 you can't make 5 right ? because the top left segment isn't there .. got it ?

    ReplyDelete
  49. oh wait, 5 turned around is a 2
    7 = 1
    9 = 5 and 3

    ReplyDelete
  50. Gee, thanks, EA. :-P

Just to clarify, Zazie said WE will all see the logic.
I've proven in this game, that "I" struggle with understanding your way of thinking. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  51. no arrie NL no lol .. you don't turn around anything .. okay let's try this , with 7 you can only make 7 and 1 out of it ! got it now ? :)

    ReplyDelete
  52. Well the BBQ is ready now, so I will have to finish later!
    Ty for helping! :)

    ReplyDelete
  53. Peggy lol, you're not alone, I have said that in the last 4 games or so. He knows ...

    ReplyDelete
  54. LOL Peggy ! Same here, but sometimes i have a flash of understanding (but still waiting for the last 2 safes)

    ReplyDelete
  55. *and come back after today's torturing lol

    ReplyDelete
  56. But you can do a lot with the 9. That's trial and error.
With the 5 I can't do anything other than 5.

    ReplyDelete
  57. So, with the digit 9, I can come up with 1, 3, 4, 5, & 7, besides the 9. Add them together? I get 29?

    ReplyDelete
  58. yes Peggy that's it ! do the same with 5 and 7 and you got the 4 digits code !

    ReplyDelete
  59. It worked!!!!

Now it says "bulb first", but I already installed my light bulb?

    ReplyDelete
  60. Out of the 9 i can make a 6 or a 0, is it right ?

    ReplyDelete
  61. trial and error ? stop complaining arrie , your partner just got it !

    ReplyDelete
  62. Wow Peggy ... sigh, great.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I didn't complain !! In the whole game .... until now. lol.
Okay, the 9 - 8 thing. Hint please?
I mean: would you be so kind to give us a hint about the other safe? Thank you sir.

    ReplyDelete
  64. arrie, you were correct about the 5.
    EA already explained the 7.
And I gave you the 9.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Now it says "bulb first" ? i just tried it Peggy and my light is ON now .. maybe you just have the ' bulb complex ' cause of yesterday's clicking on the fixture ! lol

    arrie NL 9 -> 8 ( ninE -> Eight -> ? ) .. is this enough for a hint ?

    ReplyDelete
  66. I'll work on it E-A.
My button says the same thing though 'bulb first'.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Zazie think about it this way : with the digit 8 you can make all digits , but with 7 you can only make 1 and 7 because the other parts of the digits aren't there !

    ReplyDelete
  68. oh i have no idea about this then arrie , my light is on !

    ReplyDelete
  69. I go from seveN to Nine (= 1) to Eight-Two-One (= 7), but then I'm stuck. It goes back to eight

    ReplyDelete
  70. I can get seven, nine, eight, two, one, but then it loops with 821. That sequence doesn't work. Where did I go wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  71. okay arrie just cross out the numbers you passed through and now you have the 4 digits !

    ReplyDelete
  72. The 9-8 ? Lovely puzzle E-Addict, really, a great one.

N EA .... Not EA? no. New EA? no.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Got it! If you continue the spiral to the center, it's the unused numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Yesss i am back, just looking for the 9-->8 safe....I get seveN, NinE, Eight; Two, not working.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Looks like you're stuck with Peggy and me again.
    That sounds threatening doesn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  76. lol yeah great you liked it ! now what was the hint supposed to be ? the one i sent you here : ninE -> Eight ? lol really ? is this what you were expecting ?

    ReplyDelete
  77. Zazie scroll up! There's the hint.

    ReplyDelete
  78. yes Zazie two and then one , and you'll have 4 digits left which are the code !

    ReplyDelete
  79. I got a remote and moved the poster. My light still says "no bulb" and the safe says "bulb first". :-(

    ReplyDelete
  80. No, I was not expecting that solution if that's what you mean?

    ReplyDelete
  81. oh Peggy i'm not sure if it's a browser issue but retried it on Chrome and it worked , light on !

    ReplyDelete
  82. Nooooooo! You mean I have to start over?

At least I've written all the answers down, so it won't be so bad, I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I did start a new game, and now the 2379 safe doesn't open lol ...

    ReplyDelete
  84. OK. Started over and didn't install the light bulb until the other safe was open. Now the light is on. Woo Hoo!

    ReplyDelete
  85. AND started again, AND 2379 doesn't open, oh dear, I have half an hour before going to bed, NOW what ??

    ReplyDelete
  86. Started yet again, started with that safe, but no go. I'm now beginning to doubt myself. It IS 2 3 7 9 isn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  87. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  88. E-Addict, if it makes you feel any better, I opted to work on this game first, even before a new Self-Defiant game.

Now, any extra hints for the N E W S puzzle?

    ReplyDelete
  89. you count the lines of 2379

    ReplyDelete
  90. Well i am falling off my chair, soooo tired, i will come back tomorrow and hopefully escape this room lol...i still did not read all your recent comments, so hopefully they will help me. I still have the last 2 safes to open, but i was at the phone all the time too. Good n8 everybody and thx EA for torturing me lol....love it !

    ReplyDelete
  91. Zazie, I like you very much .....

    ReplyDelete
  92. I will remove the comment with the solution arrie.....

    ReplyDelete
  93. arrie me too ! and also Peggy and the other helpers here ! Good night <3

    ReplyDelete
  94. Good Night Zazie :)

Peggy it's not about the NEWS we all know ! :) .. tell me when a spoiler is needed , i want to finish this as much as you want to ! ( and maybe more now Zazie and Larue are gone and i am alone with you and arrie NL lol )

    ReplyDelete
  95. That's okay, but I really did need it, couldn't get it myself anymore. So thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Gna gna gna E-A, yesss trouble ahead.

How are you doing Peggy, any progress?

    ReplyDelete
  97. A big hug also to our gamemaker EA ! Go on creating your games for us !

    ReplyDelete
  98. Hugs Zazie ;) .. and btw arrie NL the rose you see is Ormenco's rose !

    ReplyDelete
  99. Not the NEWS we think of.
N with a left arrow, turn the N on its side, it becomes a Z.
Am I on the right track?

    ReplyDelete
  100. Wow, arrie NL, how do we rate?

We're some of the most loyal fans, and yet Ormenco gets a rose, larue gets ice cream and Zazie gets a mint on her pillow. :-P

    ReplyDelete
  101. no you are not ! .. the arrow is just pointing to the left of N !

    ReplyDelete
  102. The person who finished it all by him/herself. That's good.
10 minutes till 1.00 u. That will be my endtime.

I thought of combining news with ea, but nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  103. nooo Peggy lol not a rose from me .. Ormenco gets a rose to offer to arrie NL ! .. you'll get your gift at the end of this game i'm not sure you are gonna like it though ! :D

    ReplyDelete
  104. Can't wait!

I thought left of N would be M. That method doesn't work.
    Got anything else EA?

    ReplyDelete
  105. Oh, in my third comment I already thanked you for the rose E-A, so thoughtful of you, Peggy take one too, there are enough, although we only see one. Ormenco loves to give them away.

I never thought I would come this far though, I really thought about letting this one go by, but the joy of playing together, helping each other, it's so much fun, you really push each other forward. Love it.
Love this game E-A. The puzzles are good. I still don't understand the clock one, but, lol, it's open and the rest I get.

Now, long story short, SNEW. What to do with it?

    ReplyDelete
  106. M is to the right of N actually .. coincidence !

    ReplyDelete
  107. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Thanks arrie .. and it wasn't a clock btw ! :)

    ReplyDelete
  109. To what are you referring, EA?

In the alphabet, I get either M F X R T, or O D V R T, if I follow the arrows around the letters shown. If not the alphabet, then what am I supposed to be looking at?

    ReplyDelete
  110. at your keyboard maybe lol Just Do It !

    ReplyDelete
  111. I know, but I don't know the name of the degree thing in english.

    ReplyDelete
  112. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Oh, duh. :-}

That makes a lot more sense.

    ReplyDelete
  114. okay arrie explaining it again , e.g. the upper part of 4 has two 90 degrees angles = 180 , and one 90 degrees angle in its lower part = 90 of course , so the total = 270 ! :)

    ReplyDelete
  115. So THAT's where I use the knife!

    But WAIT! There's more!

    ReplyDelete
  116. Out! Thanks for the hints, EA!

    ReplyDelete
  117. No, don't make your choice out of those words, none works.

    ReplyDelete
  118. eh Peggy, I have to go to bed, but you can't leave us here like this.
    Hint please?

    ReplyDelete
  119. DRATS! I accidentally clicked on the ladder again!
    Gotta start over again.

Where's the clue for the extra safe?

    ReplyDelete
  120. Vance! You're still here!
Did you get the extra safe?

    ReplyDelete
  121. Extra safe? Oh no! Guess I have to go back...

    ReplyDelete
  122. arrie, hint for the NEWS?

Look at your keyboard. Left of N is B. Right of E is R.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Peggy the two guys have the clue ! :)

    you welcome Vance !

    ReplyDelete
  124. What extra safe? I'm sitting here ready to go up the ladder. The picture is telling me EA. I don't see another safe.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Thank you Peggy, safe open, ladder, I guess we have to take the lightbulb to get to see something, but I'm gone ... Have a good day/night. Bye bye.
    Love you E-A.

    ReplyDelete
  126. I didn't want to exit too early again so I didn't click on the ladder, but couldn't find an extra safe. (It's in the tic-tac-toe safe.)

You have to click on the ladder to get the clue (apparently) and the safe.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Good Night arrie NL , love you too ! :)

    ReplyDelete
  128. The guy on the right just keeps saying "one."
Their eyes pointed to the center and then forward.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Yep. Click the ladder. Now there's a safe in the filled in tic-tac-toe puzzle. EA says that the two guys have the clue. Their eyes are pointing at 3, 3, 9, and 9, but that doesn't work.

    ReplyDelete
  130. EA, where did you go?
Any more bread crumbs you could offer?

    ReplyDelete
  131. here i am ! .. okay the left guy is saying 1 and the right guy ONE ( O N E ) ..

    ReplyDelete
  132. Vance, did that help you at all?

    O N E, turned, could be 0 2 3,
back to the alphabet, 15 14 5 (too many numbers)
    on a phone, 6 6 3
    nothing works.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Peggy the left guy gives you the first number 1 , and the right guy gives you the other three ( O .. N .. E .. )

    ReplyDelete
  134. No, not at all and I keep trying the ladder to see if anything changes which, of course, causes the game to end. My left guy just says EAPUZZLEON. The light still says NOBULB. EA, I hate to say it but your games usually don't have glitches like this. I was, however, playing around with creating my own game and I respect the difficulty in getting everything right.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Actually, my left guy just says EAPUZZLEON

I kinda got that, thus my comment dealt only with O N E.
    Again, this is just ME, but I don't know how to change those letters into numbers. 1 1 1 1 doesn't work, 1 0 1 1 doesn't work, 1 15 14 5 doesn't work.

I'm ready for that board now.

    ReplyDelete
  136. At least you haven't deserted me yet.
For which I am extremely grateful!

    ReplyDelete
  137. okay Vance i see what's wrong now .. the left guy is supposed to say : 1 and the right guy ONE .. but obviously one has to talk to the left guy after waking up the other guy lol .. and as for the No Bulb thing i really don't know what's the problem , it works here !

    ReplyDelete
  138. ONE are the first letters of the three numbers !

    ReplyDelete
  139. Oooooohhhhhh! Back to the 9 - 8 concept.
    Thank you!

And I DO like the gift at the end. Thank you very much. :-D

    ReplyDelete
  140. WOW Finally ! .. the last smile inspired by Mako's style by the way ! :)

    ReplyDelete
  141. Okay. I got the poster and the faces have Vs for mouths (left one still has his rope mouth, too). Any other Easter eggs before I quit for good?

    ReplyDelete
  142. Vance, I haven't found anything else.
    Thanks for the help.

    ReplyDelete
  143. lol Vance forget about the left one i told you what's his problem .. the V is supposed to mean a smile .. and no Easter eggs that's it !

    ReplyDelete
  144. I'm still not getting the tictactoe puzzle. I don't get the combination or relationship between the normal pad and the one shown, or the numbers missing and the "think digital".
The problem is (and I'm as often as bad), that once we get the right answer we think everyone else can follow the same thinking.
eg The vii, viii, xiv puzzle fell into place for me when someone mentioned 7, 14, 21, 28. Any given day on a calender always falls on multiples of 7. A quick check showed that only August has 6 letters and that didn't work, so I moved onto days of the week. 1st or 2nd (depending which day you consider start of the week. Also Friday, but I already had the safe open.
My apologies to those that asked, but by the time I got back to forum, most of you also had the safe open.
Maybe I should also drop some hints when I find one easy instead of leaving it for everyone else.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Ashley, a normal keypad would be

    123
    456
    789

The 7 & 2 are in the wrong place in the game. Ignore that.
The numbers that are missing from the keypad are 2 3 7 9.
If you draw the number 8 in a digital format, it would take 7 lines to create it.
Draw the number 2 in digital format, it takes 5 lines to create it. Draw the number 3 in digital format, it takes 5 lines to create it.
Therefore, the first 2 numbers of the solution are 5 and 5.

    ReplyDelete
  146. And the digital 7 takes 3 (short) lines to make, while the digital 9 takes 5 again. So 5535 ... ... but that doesn't work for me.
In fact, I'm sure I tried that earlier in the day before I got sidetracked onto something else for a while.

    ReplyDelete
  147. The 9 has a tail. Add one more line to it.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Aaahhhhh! Its obviously a while since I took close note of digital numbers. TY Peggy.
How do I "take" the tap (faucet)? OR how do I fill the glass?

    ReplyDelete

  150. Next: If we number the puzzles 1-9 starting on the 1st screen right of the start screen; what is in the green boxes in Puzzle 3? I'm sure there was something there the first time I opened the game but a lot of stuff has gone faint or disappeared now.
eg the arrow in the middle of the circle-degree puzzle. It turned black the 1st time I was investigating, but now its difficult to see at all.

Am I supposed to turn the light on? If so, HOW?

    ReplyDelete
  151. Okay, thanks - got the water, gave to the face (opened its eyes etc)
Now, back to puzzles. Trying to keep up with you lot is like the tortoise chasing the rabbit.

    ReplyDelete
  152. So many questions, Ashley.
I'll try to get them all answered.

The green boxes: the two above the safe have the numbers 3 & 11 in them with an arrow pointing from 3 to the 11. Down the left side of the safe are the numbers 5 7 & 9.

As for the light, yes the light needs to be turned on, however, arrie NL and I ran into some problems with that.
Don't install the light bulb until you've opened the 3 -> 11 safe. That is where the ON button is for the light.

    ReplyDelete
  153. And you can ask as many questions as you like. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  154. Yeah my fellows, i drank my morning coffee and replayed and now i am out with extra safe and all.....after a good sleep, everything is easier :-)
Thx everybody for the help and EA for another great challenge !!!
    Huggies to all <3

    ReplyDelete
  155. Thank you Peggy.
I managed to work through enough clues to get that safe open ... ... but I had already put the bulb in place. Does that mean I will have to restart? Or did you find a way around that problem?

    ReplyDelete
  156. If you've opened the safe and the button works and the light comes on, you're OK.
If you try to press the button and it says "bulb first", you may have to start over. I hope you've written all your answers down...

    ReplyDelete
  157. Hi Zazie! Good to have you back.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Yes - fortunately. I don't often do that.

Have you solved the 9-8 puzzle yet?

    ReplyDelete
  159. Yes, Ashley. Like Zazie, we've finished the game.

For the 9 -> 8 puzzle, the clue was Eight follows ninE.
So beginning with seveN, draw a line through the numbers to the NinE, then to the EighT...... It should be kind of a spiral on the grid.

Once you can't go any more without repeating numbers, and continuing with the spiral pattern, the left over numbers are your answer.

  160. Ooookaaaayyy ... ... found the remote, moved the boy, clicked the button.
Now I see where you got the NEWS from.
But that's all I see. And I need a FIVE-letter word from that?
Stuck again. Compass - too many letters. "point" doesn't work.
Someone said something about the eyes moving ... but not in my puzzle.

    ReplyDelete
  161. I did think that the card might go into the safe beside the bottom light. But is doesn't want to go so not sure about that idea.

    ReplyDelete
  162. As you click the green button, you get

    <- N
    E ->
    W ->
    <- S ->

Looking at a QWERTY keyboard, left of N is B.

    ReplyDelete
  163. Okay - that makes more sense than some of the other clues. But where do the arrows come from?

And now my browser has decided to reboot ... ... which means opening all the safes again! So I think I'll leave that until tomorrow - there's something I want to watch on TV so I'm off to bed.
    Thanks for all the help.

    ReplyDelete
  164. Before I go, I have to say I love the concept of this "game". Much more interesting PUZZLES than most of the others (which tend to be just search & find the key to open the next door), though I also like the Self-Defiant games too.

Well done E-A. Bring on more of these.
My only frustration, as I said yesterday, is the time zone difference.

    ReplyDelete
  165. Same with me, Ashley. Zazie is just having coffee, arrie is off to work, and it's 2:30 am here. This is the first E-Addict game I've gotten to play live.

Just to answer about the arrows.
Once you wake up the guy on the right of the poster, the power should be turned on for that puzzle. You can't access the puzzle until you've moved the poster. The buttons should be green by then. As you click the button below the box, arrows appear beside the box and letters appear in the dialogue space at the bottom.

Good night. And good luck tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  166. Yes good luck Ashley ! You nearly did it :-) I was away from keyboard. And Peggy i cannot await to play the next EA with you !

I made a WT for fun.

  169. Walkthrough and Spoilers.

Click left guys mouth ... listen to him.
    Turn right.

    ** 9 TO 8 PUZZLE **
Write the numbers in letters like ninE-Eight.
See the connection between the two?
    Start with seveN-NinE-EighT-TwO-One.
Erase what you find on the way, use the 4 numbers left.

    (remote)

** RED DOT BECOMES TWO GREEN DOTS PUZZLE**
You see two letters at the same time.
The tricky part is the middle row top to bottom.
If it's a red dot you have to use it on both the left letter (is in the right position) and the right letter (which is mirrored, so the 5th row is the left part of that letter).
The green dots in the middle row either go to the left letter or to the right letter.

    (knife)

    ** 3 TO 11 PUZZLE **
    Look at the digital 3, it holds a 1, a 7 and a 3, makes 11.
You can't cut the 5 like that, so that's just the 5 (= first number)
    The 7 holds a 7 and a 1 = 8 (= second number)
The 9 holds a lot of other numbers. Find them, add them together (= third and fourth number)

(red button - push it after placing bulb)

    Turn right.

** THE GREEN BLUE RED PUZZLE **
    Additive mixing colours (Wiki).
Yellow is formed by green and red. White holds all colours.
So starting with the green dot you combine yellow and green and white to make a number.
Then blue and white making an add-sign.
Rred and yellow and white making a number.
Do the math and use the outcome as a word.

(crowbar, free table, use it to place bulb BUT DON'T INSTALL THE BULB UNTIL YOU'VE OPENED THE 3 -> 11 SAFE !! - YOU'LL HAVE TO START OVER).

    ** THE DOUBLE E PUZZLE **
Click the green button. Draw a line between the two yellows you see (makes a C).
Click the green button. Draw a line between the two yellows you see and put it under the C you got (all digital shape), it makes a digital 2.
Do the same with the other colours.

    (oilcan)

    ** OPEN TIC-TAC-TOE PUZZLE **
Make a 3 by 3 grid and fill it with the numbers 1 to 9 as shown below:
    1 2 3
    4 5 6
    7 8 9
Write down the missing numbers . The 2 is in the wrong place, blocking the 1.
The place for 2 and 3 are open, same with 7, pushing 8 out, the place for 7 and 9 is open.
Count the lines of each number you get, that's the answer.

(facet, oil it, click it, use glass)

    Turn right.

    ** 360-PUZZLE **
It has to do with angles. I copy what E-A wrote, cause I don't get it.
    lower part = 90 ( 4 ) , both parts = 90 ( 7) , both parts = 270 ( 4 ) upper part = 90 ( 7 ). The upper part of 4 has two 90 degrees angles = 180 , and one 90 degrees angle in its lower part = 90 of course , so the total = 270 !

    (glass)

    ** ROMAN NUMERALS **
The numbers show a calendar. The arrow shows the day most calendars start the week with.
VII and VIII (months 7 and 8) XIV (2014).

    (card)

    ** TIC-TAC-TOE PUZZLE **
Connect the numbers below as following. The 4 is in a square open to the right,.
The 2 is in a square which is open on the top. Glue the 2-shape under the 4-shape, you get a digital 6.
Do the same with the other numbers.

    (bulb)

    Turn right.

Throw water in eyes of right guy. Click left guy. Push green button.

Can't finish the WT, have to go to work.

    ReplyDelete
  172. It will also help all the people who don't want to read through all the gazillion comments to weed out the helpful ones.

    Good job, arrie NL.

  175. Gazillion and 1 comments .... to finish it off.

    ** DOORSAFE PUZZLE **
Click picture, it begs you to 'move me'. Do that with the remote.
Click little green button, note direction of arrows, combined with the letters that pop up. Look at your keyboard to find the word.
p.e. Left of N is B. Right of E is R (spoiler given above).

Use card - use knife, click ladder once.It says 'wait', now, you can wait till you loose 5 pounds, but nada. turn left to see a new safe.

    ** NEW SAFE PUZZLE **
Click right guy, he says 'one'.
The number 1 is the first number. The 3 letters stand for 3 numbers.
Open the safe, push the button, read ..... take E-Addict, put him in inventory.
Click ladder ..... wait ..... click guys .... read .... smile back and click ladder and go ...

And yes, it remains too dark in the hole.

    SPOILER LAST SAFE :

  179. and one more thing .. " Zazie, I'm not so sure about that. EA's logic doesn't always seem so clear. " , that was Peggy's comment .. you always go quiet Peggy when things are done eh ? .. what are the clues supposed to be , connect the yellow dots to make a number , i mean why didn't you try to connect the dots yourself ? lol .. or maybe ninE -> Eight for the grid ? etc ..

    no more comments ! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  180. I always prefer playing live when i can catch a game ! It is much more fun than playing it later all alone. And yours in special EA :-)

    ReplyDelete
  181. What a pity I couldn't play live this time - I went on vacation. Great game as usual EA, not to be solved without help. Great torture! Thank you!
