    ReplyDelete
  61. There was a bug with the box but the matches are there, don't click the box. Only click the numbers and the switch! Sorry, it's fixed now!!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Yeah finally got the matches! Thanks SD!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Fun as always! I had no problem with matches.

    ReplyDelete
  66. If you didn't click the box itself, you wouldn't have noticed any issues. :) That's why I didn't notice it. :(

    ReplyDelete
  67. It's a good game anyway, thanks for fixing it :)

    ReplyDelete
  68. Not like SD at all......Guess he doesn't check Oddsoul games for bugs

    ReplyDelete
  69. @Jerilynn Leckrone , did you see my response. I NEVER let bugs go intentionally. It doesn't matter who the game is for.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I've restarted still box is empty. Will give one more go then come back tomorrow and hopefully it would've been sorted

    ReplyDelete
  71. Still not fixed and when I refresh the page, there is no "start over" or "New Game" button. Just a "continue" button. :(

    ReplyDelete
  72. Sorry, SD, still no matches :-(

    ReplyDelete
  73. No matches here either and no "start over" either.
too bad, I really liked the game so far.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I finally got the matches. after I restarted. clicked main menu under walkthrough on right side of screen and got the start over button.

    ReplyDelete
  75. If it isn't working, it's because the old version is stuck in your cache. The old version will work if you don't click the box up close, just the numbers and the switch. I tried it on both versions and it worked.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Thanks Jenny and Selfdefiant! Got the matches and replaying, wonderful game

    ReplyDelete
  77. So is this actually the last installment in this series? Because the plot doesn't seem to have been resolved.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I'm always late, but thanks Selfdefiant! I've played all your games, and this is the only one I can actually figure out where the photos are from. It's T’Spookhuys Restaurant/Bar in Belgium! Too bad it's abandoned now though...

    ReplyDelete
  79. No matches for me either. Pity as I really enjoy your games.

    ReplyDelete
  80. I've been trying at different times of the day, different browsers, still no matches.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Finally got matches!! woohooo.. here we go

    ReplyDelete
  82. No matches. Cleared cache, used 2 different browsers, never touched the box when enlarged.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Great game SD. No bugs for me :)

    ReplyDelete
  84. OKay, i am very confused here. I have refreshed twice (now on my third time), clicked Start Over, and I STILL don't get the matches in the box. What am I doing wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  85. In my version, I have to click the box to put the code in, so I don't understand how to not click the box. Am I being dumb?

    ReplyDelete
  86. Just managed to get the matches, now that I am playing on a different browser.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Thanx SD! Even though there was a slight issue, it was still a good FREE game.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I have no matches in the box. I've only just started playing it this morning so it can't have been fixed.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Nucklehead, thanks! Glad you liked it!

    ReplyDelete
  90. Used the link on the Melting Mindz page, it finally worked, got matches now.

Since I played "Forgotten Asylum" your games are one of my favourites, Selfdefiant, and I appreciate the possibility to play them free!
Plus you never leave your players alone with bugs, thumbs up for that also!
    Keep going! :-)))

    ReplyDelete
  91. Ok, I think the problem was actually the box. It was possessed. It has been removed! Now the matches are hidden somewhere in the same room. :) Thanks everyone!!!

    ReplyDelete
  92. Well said, selfdefiant!

    ReplyDelete
  93. Thank you Escaper

    ReplyDelete
  94. Thanks selfdefiant, always love your games!

    ReplyDelete
  95. I started again and thought there was another bug because I couldn't find the box this time. Then I found the matches and realised what you'd done. Thanks SD xx

    ReplyDelete
  96. I never thought I would say this about any game from Selfdefiant, but this is too buggy and unplayable (by me). My fist time into the blue key crypt, there was a book and a 6 digit box, but no matches. OK read about glitch. Clear cache and Flash and Java and browser history. Reload (Firefox) and enter the crypt. Now there is no 6 digit box, never mind matches. I try Chrome with the same result. No box, no matches. UNPLAYABLE.

    ReplyDelete
  97. No Joe, if you read any comments you would know I changed it. The box was broken, it was removed. The matches are hidden in the book. The game is playable and beatable.

    ReplyDelete
  98. I gave it one more shot (hey it is a Selfdefiant game, after all). Found the matches and finished. so it is PLAYABLE.

    ReplyDelete
  99. SD, please understand my frustration level at that point. I really do not like restarting one time, never mind many. I guess I have come to look at you as one of the premier game authors and this one was not up to your normal level of excellence. Please accept my humble apologies.

    ReplyDelete
  100. No, it was my mistake for having the box be messed up in the first place. I still don't know what was wrong with it. I just wanted everything to work! After several attempts I just removed it. :) Now it can't possible be messed up with it gone! Thanks!!

    ReplyDelete
  101. Having read all your frustrations with the now absent box, I am all alone in my frustration of not being able to find the matches. In the crypt I feel I have scoured the room and the book, but nothing - can someone please enlighten me?

    ReplyDelete
  102. What box? What matches? WHAT ROOM!!!!!!!!?
    I'm getting angry.

    ReplyDelete
  103. So, now I'm on a pixel hunt through the entire map because I never got to see any 6# box like everyone else has..........

  106. I had the same issue as Bear Lobo. It's a shame because the graphics & puzzles were great. I'm sorry, SD, that you had so much trouble with this one.

    ReplyDelete
  107. I found the error. It's fixed now.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Rage, residing. Patience, returning. It WORKS!

    ReplyDelete
  109. LOL - worked too much this week and am just now catching up and playing. Guess work was a good thing after all. Enjoyed this game since it worked perfectly for me
