ReplyDeleteThis game needs a better way to control volume. I practically blew my speakers out and woke the whole neighborhood up during game play. Clicking the mute button on top right did little. Dang.
Truth be told, this is not a great game. Far from the worst out there, but this just falls flat. There are hints of greater depth and more intricate puzzles, but ultimately the game ends rather abruptly. I have to assume that the designer may have had bigger plans, but then I would wonder why they felt the need to push out something incomplete. There are quite a few other games from this designer. In fact, I recall enjoying the 3D printer one. But seeing as this is not the designer's first outing, I am left a little disappointed.
ReplyDeleteIf you are stuck looking around for clues, then know that there is nothing else besides the poster over the couch (which has the password to the computer). As escapers, we are expected to realize that loud is best. So, turn it all to eleven, as Spinal Tap would say.
!! SPOILERS BELOW !!
In the spirit of EGDAW...
Take a look under the couch cushions and grab a key.
Note the number on the poster above the couch.
Turn left and click on the computer.
Use the number on the poster as the password.
Open the music player and begin playing the "Rap Mix" track.
On the mixer, click the button on each channel (a light turns on) and then set the faders to maximum.
Turn around and notice the speakers (and key) moving. Wait for the key to fall and pick it up.
Turn right and pick up the glass on the table.
Use the first key (from the couch) to unlock the door.
Turn right and take the instrument cable from the bass.
Turn right and use the second key (from the speaker) on the locked cabinet.
Take the power strip from the cabinet.
Turn around and use the power strip on the electrical outlet.
Turn left and click on the power cable from the amp to plug it in.
Use the cable on the guitar and click the other end of the cable to plug it into the amp.
Place the glass in front of the amp.
Press the red button to turn on the amp and then turn the knobs on the amp all the way up.
Click on the guitar strings to shatter the glass and pick up the glass shard.
Turn right, use the shard on the kick drum, and then take the key.
Turn around and go through the door.
Use the third key (from the kick drum) on the door and escape.
Oh, a little painful was to see that hi-hat and snare drum are on different sides and hi-hat does not have a pedal. But the game was actually quite fun, perhaps because I have spent a lot of time in the recording studios myself.
