at the end I was locked in cage too. is there any hint, which rope I should pull?
ReplyDeleteI replayed the whole game and got the "good" rope this time. but I was not in mood to play it a third time. so what is the clue?

Hey Hotzenpoltz. I pulled another one and I won, at first time. Maybe it changes every game, or it is by chance...
ReplyDeleteTo begin, you have to count the flowers in order to open the chest. Rest of the game is quite logical, and straight forward.
ReplyDeletelet's try this one
ReplyDeleteLot of cursing for now...
Really nice game, though it seemed to kind of fall apart at the end. Enjoyed the logic puzzle riddle embedded in the game, but then the last scene was just about pulling one of the ropes. No dialogue, no clue for figuring out which one was correct, or even the possible consequences -- just pick one and be done with it, for better or worse.
ReplyDeleteI pulled the first rope and tied the wizard up, but what does the other two ropes do?
ReplyDeleteWhy does he even have that rope?!
ReplyDeleteThe middle rope brings down a weight and crushes the wizard. The third one puts you in the cage and you lose.
ReplyDeleteFun game - I like this style games.
ReplyDeleteawful game
ReplyDeleteGood game, SD, I look forward to your games everyday.
ReplyDeleteI chose the right rope, too - totally by chance of course. And, since there's no going back out from the room once you've entered it - and I saw no hint inside the chamber - I guess it's down to pure luck whether you pull the right rope...
ReplyDelete1dot12,
ReplyDeletefor me the middle rope caused a huge weight to drop on the wizard.
I chose the right rope by chance. My cursor was to the left of the wizard when he spoke. When I clicked again to make him stop speaking, my cursor was on the left rope. I just randomly clicked again without moving cursor and I was out. Then I replayed and discovered that middle rope too gets you out. Only the right rope is the bad deal.
ReplyDeleteKind of weird for a game to require some thinking throughout and then ask for a random rope pull at the end. I noticed that the left rope has a bit of a 'rat's tail' extension. Is that the clue?
So the ropes deal was built as random chance, but we did have a 2/3 chance of getting the right one. I played it twice, left rope tied him up, middle dropped a weight on him. I assume the third would trap me. I like the game except for the bit about counting the flowers. Counting hard!
ReplyDeleteI like Carmel games very much, this one had two lame moments -- the flower-counting and the ropes, but the game as a whole was still enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteThe riddle with the houses has dsa one finished? I can make what I want, frankenstein lives left in the white house and drinks blood, but clear the bills veins? Does not work frankenstein is left then pirat then spirit pirat blue spirit white house right?
ReplyDeleteGood game. I enjoyed the mini Abroy puzzle (shame they don't post them here anymore).
ReplyDeleteVery cute game! I played 3 times. Rope spoiler below.
ReplyDeleteThat said, I hope ads in the middle of games aren't going to become a thing. That was really awful.
