ReplyDeleteI always like to ask my fellow escapers not to rate a game if it has an obvious bug. The developer will usually get a fix on it quickly.
Many strong games have gotten trashed this way.

ReplyDeletePixely? I don't see it. I have been playing escape games online since about 2005. I know VERY well what a pixel hunt is.
ReplyDeletePeople are giving this game low ratings because it involves more than picking up a thing (in plain sight) in one room and dropping it into an obvious spot in another room.
Too many players here have become too accustomed to the "cookie cutter" escape games that they get bent out of shape when one comes along that actually involves thinking a wee bit outside the box.
Would you still be interested if the developers dumbed these games down so low a first grader could get out?
You might feel better about yourself, but there would be absolutely nothing to be proud about.
These games should be about challenging yourself, not a slam dunk win every. single. time.
It's okay to get stumped. It happens to everyone. Don't throw shade on the developers who create great games just because they may be over your head.

ReplyDeleteLast room, mouse around, and click on the hot spots. This was a really, really nice game. I did have to get help a few times from video, but as soon as I saw a solution, I smacked my head, should have figured.
ReplyDeleteI agree this was a good game. However, I do not like stage games that you have to do things in a series of rooms. I find those work better with tablets. Did not like that the number in one of the rooms was the sequence of the masks according to size because you had no hint whether to go from smallest to biggest or vice versa.
