Autumn's Illusion Shrine is the third creation of another Japanese point & click room escape game developed by MysteriousBox.
In this game, you were wandering around a mountain path,
surrounded by autumn leaves, when you got lost. Then you realised that you had found a little Shinto shrine that was not on the map. Let’s go back before sunset! But the exit is protected by a mysterious force field...! Your aim is now to escape from this place by finding and using items and
looking for hints to solve all puzzles in order to turn off the force field. Good luck
and have fun! ☺ [Translation by Nini xD] FYI: Shinto shrines are places of worship and the dwellings of the kami, the Shinto «gods». Sacred objects of worship that represent the kami are stored in the innermost chamber of the shrine where they cannot be seen by anybody.

used combined stick and and another object to make a dipper. filled it with something that looks like ink.

Sneaky stick to the left of the stone near the exit.
Hint for 1st (from left to right) shrine to the right: snake mark
Flint and steel below the big shrine on the back wall.
2nd shrine on the right: order comes from stone floor (count lines)
2nd shrine on the left: "dog" sculptures (see the marks to know each arrow correspond to each dog). Order is up -> bottom
Flint and steel to light left lamp (first scene).
Order for 1st shrine on the left: Lamp -> light -> dark.
Open big shrine with key.
Right lamp (first scene) clue -> Folding screen (up/down marks represent arrows). Follow the birds.
3rd shrine on the left -> memo from up/down puzzle.
Use stick to get a wooden piece from the top left of the hut scene (to the right of the forest).
Combine piece + stick for a water holder and take some water from the hut.
Use water on the stand in the big shrine.
4 titles order -> check all tiles on "about item" mode and see on which sides they have "circles" on them. These circles are where they connect with the black lines.
After placing all tiles correctly, use water on the stand in the middle of the shrine and you should be able to get the "gohei" (stick with white thingys on it). Use it to lift the barrier and escape :)

ReplyDeleteHa, I carried serious amounts of water with the ladle to that pot, nothing happened, thought it need some 5 or 7 ladlefuls. It only needed one ladleful after placing the symbols.
ReplyDeleteGood game, although I didn't like much the colours, it was like walking in the lava. Ok, I understand that it had to represent the autumn leaves. Oh, need to listen to some instrumental jazz version of "Autumn Leaves", bye!
I'm missing something with the bird and the up/down arrows, Can some one give a little hint please.

OK...the first bird corresponds to the red line UP. Second bird DOWN. 3 is UP? 4, 5 DOWN? Eh, don't see it.

ReplyDelete@bluepeahen the lamps are a bit hard to see but there's one behind each statue. You need to be zoomed out to be able to click them (leftmost and rightmost parts of the screen)

That hint from the "hint through" threw me as I thought that the 1st structure on right was just 1 object.
Good game though and excellent music for the theme.
