pink quarters puzzle: saw the hint but didn´t get the logic behind it how to transfer this into the four possible positions of each quarter, so i bruteforced this puzzle. beneath that a sweet little time killer, not too hard. good for 3 or max. 3.5 stars.

ReplyDeletecoloured circles with arrows puzzle: didn´t see a hint for that but turn the circles so that all arrows are pointing to the centre.
ReplyDeleteblue hook is used inside cave in square hole on the floor (zoom in first). magnet is used on vase.
watched the video wt - pink quarters puzzle is still a mystery to me.
multiplication sense: you have to see the hint with the two cogs and you have to stop the rotating cogs with a lever. then multiply left and right red marked numbers first, then multiply these two ciphres. gives a 4 digits number for the 4 digits puzzle pn the wall (that´s the way it worked for me).

in my eyes this doesn´t lead unambigously to a solution where are four positions in only horizontally direction are wanted

What you should then do is change the first shape in the puzzle so that it matches the part of the circle in the southwest quadrant. That's because the number in that quadrant is 1.
Repeat for numbers 2, 3 and 4.
Jennifer, since there was no clue in the game about the soccer puzzle, you are supposed to know the answer to the soccer puzzle already, use a search engine, or look at the walkthrough.

ReplyDeleteFor the multiplication, multiply all red numbers together. Not left and right halves like are commonly used.
Helmut, I can explain instead of Joe: 1 means the first pink quarter must be in that position, 2 means the second pink quarter must be in that position, 3 means the third pink quarter must be in that position, 4 means the fourth pink quarter must be in that position.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a football (which is called soccer in the USA) fan either, but didn't need googling or WT, just simple logic: if there is a club (or city) name, then it's a club team, and if there is a country name, then it's a national team.
