  2. I'm still in the same position, waiting for someone to solve this.

  3. Handy, did you click twice with the remote? There's a clue for the dials in the bathroom.

  4. Also click the digital clock and something disappears - the equation left gives you the 4 digit number.

  5. That puzzle also gives you the key for the other room.

  6. And remember to check (behind) all the pictures

  7. I just can't understand how they got the 4 digit number. Could someone explain it to me?

  8. When you press the digital clock the bottom dot of the : disappears. A single dot remains which tells you to

multiply the two numbers to get the answer

  10. The first image on the tv screen refers to the final picture. The missing tiles are the clue for the 4x4 grid.

  11. Never seen a dot used as a multiplier sign before. All quite straightforward other than that.

  14. Thanks for the hints!

The X / O clue is for the four letter word.

I took my time with this game as these quality games are few and far between. The level of detail in the artwork is amazing. The key hole in both doors have a reflection of the room. The reflections are there zoomed out or in.

    Thanks Amajeto!

  15. Off the record

Why did the site give up on posting some developers, like Tomolasido?

  16. Why does a dot mean multiply?

  17. If you notice, the games are posted by the Developers. So if tomoLaSiDo, Nicolet, NeatEscape etc don't post here directly, their games won't get posted by anyone else. The former Moderators, MegiPoland, Shuchun, Edgar, Jon/Loki and many more, would look for the Japanese games and post them. Don't have that anymore.

  18. From Google:
Multiplication (×, ∙, *): These symbols all mean multiply or times. ... You'll see the dot (∙) more often than the times symbol (×) because the dot is easier to write and the times symbol can be confused with the variable x.

  19. I spent way too long on the numbers, dividing and subtracting (including the squares), before coming here for help. I really should have known better.

  20. I don't know if this was a particularly good game or if it's been so long since I've played a game with logic and subtlety. The left right puzzle stumped me, I saw the books with the red and green book marks and thought they were a clue for the left right, I was way over thinking that.

  21. Just found game replay, thanks Amajeto. Good game.

  22. clock hold me up for a bit (I usually type x & not a dot for multiplication - but when writing then a dot anyway... 🙃)

    ReplyDelete
  23. I reloaded twice, still cant get game to start. Anyone else?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Needed help with the numbers and tiles. Never thought that the missing tiles are this time the clue, these have the same pattern in every game, don't they? And when I clicked the clock I saw that one of the dots blinked, I should have hold the button to see that only one dot remains.

BTW, we used the dot for multiplication in school, but it was in the 1970s and we were annexed by the Soviet Union, here were different rules and regulations. Nowadays I use the ×-sign both in handwriting and typing, but notice: DON'T use the letter x, it can be confusing as letters x, y etc. are themselves common in equations. Of course, × and · are more complicated, you can't create them with a single keystroke (I just remember the codes), but then it's better to use * like early computers did. Not letter x.
