That was quite different, but I liked it very much. I love word games, and this one was even solvable by poor English skills like mine. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI failed at solving the age and name puzzle (is it even possible?) but anyway I enjoyed this game deeply. Thank you!
ReplyDeletehi (again) punnivinn, DickeBohne & all other players 🙂 - let's see:
ReplyDelete- cell: correct letters at their places turn green 😴
PC - 3 #s: letters can be only used once (excludes already 3, 7, 9)
ReplyDelete& lenght can be also shorter than the 5 places
I had 2 x with 3 letters & 1 x with 4 😉 letters (mayhaps there are also other solutions...)
tricky coloured shapes (took me some time...):
ReplyDelete- P not used, Y & O at bottom (no overlapping of grids)
- my solution: SHAPES
(a 1 step back option would have been nice...)
link: right click to open it in a new tab
DeleteI had the same solution, seems like it's the only one.
Deletecryptogram is terrible, i'm totally stuck
ReplyDeleteI found it very easy, although I'm not a fluent English-speaker (but I am a cruciverbalist). A hint: look for the words "the", these are usually repeatedly present in English texts. From that on it went very smoothly, not more than 2 minutes.
Deletefab(ulous)❗ 😉 - great riddle style game btw (thinking required, not only find a hint & input it at another place)
Delete& a story with suspence, too 👍
Deletekid ages (solved without the hint available): 2 😉 are the same & oldest also only 1 digit
ReplyDeletehint for cryptogram: here is the final chemical you need
ReplyDeletecards (King = 13, Queen = 12, Jack = 11):
ReplyDelete- name, A = 1, B = 2 etc
- location: N = 1, O = 2 etc
- work, all red first - https://anagram-solver.net was very helpful 🧪
click NORTH
ReplyDeleteSmythLock: daughter's name (A = 1 again)
ReplyDeletescale (I wrote all totals down & compared them):
ReplyDelete- 3 consecutive #s is a series of three up to 42 (13+14 +15), starting from 6 (1+2+3)
- 5 consecutive #s is a series of five up to 65 (11+12 +13+14+15), starting from 15 (1+2+3+4+5)
- the 5 # group (no double digits) end just before the 3 # group starts
thankfully a happy end 👩🦰
ReplyDeleteSo it turns out the player is actually guilty? Weird.
ReplyDeleteNo? He proved he was innocent...
