I have found a few items and a number but other than that I am just clicking like a madwoman, help.
I'm in the second room, several safes to open ...
click the wall left of green vase
got 3 small slips of paper, cape, broom, some kind of plug (used to open third room), back oval(used on picture), got green ball and washed in sink to turn it green have no clue for any of safes also got eye? used on pic

and used pencil on letter too
oh, the weird round thing from first room is a mouse ear !
opened the box with the colours on it and got another mouse ear put it on mouse and it reveiled a screw must be a screw driver somewhere
clicking on the wall next to vase did nothing? im stuck please help?
where did you find the numbers for colours ? I only have the red one
Have all 4 pieces of paper and can now open the cupboard in the 2nd room have no idea what to do
If you look at the shelf that the colour box is on it is in the shape of a 6 and and in the room with the broom the shelf is the shape of a 2 I just guessed what the green 1 was

where is the code for the letter safe on the wall in the second room?
Finished not sure if there are different endings I worked out the code for the puzzel in the cupboard it isn't a screw it is a key hole I just found out.
anyone know how to do that grid thing with the numbers?? please someone help

I never found the code for the the other I on the side of the wall by the puzzle in the cupboard
the numbers that I put in were in line A 1818
in line b 52
line c 5
line d 1500

Just incase the numbers are different this is how I cracked the code for the letter puzzle
I just input numbers and in what line they were in that I saw on the 4 pieces of paper and pushed check once the numbers were correct that number was locked into the grid I just then kept putting in numbers and pressing check until I had all numbers locked in.
If anyone wants to open the safe with letters, go in first room, look at window, black bars are letters.
This way you get the green number.

im also stuck in the 1st room - this is so frustrating
i have paper with japenese writing on it,a green pencil,a grey/white circle,a number from behind the board and a stud that i got from the window..what now?
i've been clicking everywhere nothing happens!

In english, that would not change that much, you could read notes but you don't really need them anyway.
When you see the plant, click on the bootom right corner of the wall ahead of you.
You might need to use pencil on the signature on the letter before second room opens though

How to get the paper in the letter safe? And how to open the safe next to the letter safe?
There is no paper in the safe with a letter code, it just gives you the green number, but you can do without it. Go look at the window in the first room if you want the code though.
To open the safe next to the one with a letter code, you need to give the mouse 2 ears and a nose ....
Oh I see which paper you're talking about, I'm not sure it's a paper, and yu can't take that anyway =)
I have already opened the box with colour code (guessed green), byt what mouse are you talking about?

nice game, can anyone explain why the numbers on the grid are the ones ra11ie gave us? Hate not knowing the answers right at the end of the game!

Anyway with the check button that locks the right numbers when found, it's easy enough.
All I can say is that when you click on the word on the table in first room, you get the numbers 20008 and 190, and that 2008 - 190 = 1818 which is one of the number you should find.
I got in the second room, put the mouse's right ear on, found his nose on the knob of the blue drawer and put that on him, but where do I find his eyes and other ear? And WHAT else do I do? I have a red 3 from the 1st room, a blue 6 from what the safe is on, what are the green & yellow numbers to put on that safe to open it? PLEASE someone, do a walkthru! :(
Also, what DO the black lines on the window in the first room mean? And what do I do w/ that thing from said window? What is the round green thing used for? Where do I find the other 2 strips of paper? What do I do w/ the cape? I know you all think I'm a pain for asking all these questions, but if there were a complete walkthru for a complete idiot like me, I wouldn't have to! :(
Also, how do you open the gray safe on the wall? There is NO input for letters OR numbers? How do I do it?

I've got a grey plug thing, a pencil, and a circly thing. I've clicked the wall left of the green vase multiple times...and nothing's happening...how do I get into the second room?
It would seem that you have to get a letter, but I can't find that. I've also clicked the wall to the right of the plant multiple times, but nothing.
@Alice, you need to use the pencil on the paper, it circles the signature, then click on the wall perpendicular to the plant. However, NOW I am stuck in the 2nd room and can't get to the 3rd! I know there are stuff missing that I can't figure out, but alas, nobody has answered my posts, nor my request for a complete walkthru!
found paper, pencil, pencil used, found squair panel used, found 4 strokes used, a black sort of cirle used, and 2x grey with white sort of circle used, broom, coat, green circle and a key, am stuck now

Alice, I think the paper you need is on the glass table. Once you get that you use the pencil on it (it will circle the last line on the paper). Once you've done that you can get to 2nd room.
Use that black plastic thing to get into the third room. I'm stuck too. I gave the mouse his ears and nose, got the keyhole, and that's it. I don't know what to do with the broom or cape.

marcy, use the note on the table calculate the number and you have an awnser to line A1, check and 6 numbers light up blue, yust figure the rest out by clicking...

Marcy, you don't need to understand the lines, yust click every number, it will turn blue if it is correct on the safe, if you have all 4 of paperlines found ofcourse

Sorry to be so dense but where are you clicking the numbers? Are you actually clicking on the 4 strips of paper themselves?
Freeway go to the mouse pic and click the right wall to turn around...you will see a place to put the black thing in the wall to open room 3

nvm posted right after walkthrough
1, see grey circle upper left to the door
2, go right, click table get paper and note 2008-190, need this later
3, grab pencil on bord
4, use pencil on paper
5, click bord to turn, note red 3
6, go 2x right notice small plastic square on window, get it
7, note down C J or L and O
8, turn left once, and click wall right to the plant
9, click on blue table with box on it, note shape of blue table 6
10, turn right and click on the right, use plastic on the two holes to activate thirth room
11, get broom and number 4 of the lines, also note yellow number 2
12, go out room and go right 2 times, click closet and get a black circle and cape
13, go right and note a line on the benche
14, go to right to the plant, click on it and get 3th line, also green circle
15, go to blue table and fill in the number, green is a gues, get circle and fourth line
16, go to the frame opposit of the 3th room and place circles on the mouse, black and 2x grey, get a key hole.
17, go to safe and fill in 2008-190=1818 is line A1, yust click as long as you can go till all numbers are blue, go to mouse pic and open it with key you got from there.

Since it says white ending could there be another ending?
If you complete it without picking up the broom, cloak, or green gem that you can change blue then the ending you get is just the mouse picture saying 2008 and some other writing.
It is easy. Just put your heart on it . ( actually, i did it with help.) For the colour no. code. Look for objects that shape in a number.
I think that I have already completed everything in the walkthrough up to the point were i need to enter the color numbers. I cannot change through the green numbers. it is stuck on zero. X326....any ideas ?

Lame game.....only because I noobed around for so long with the letters in the window! ;)
Regarding the numbers on the grid, I couldn't read Japanese, but can understand Chinese so managed to guess partial of the clues. Hope this explain the answers provided by ra11ie.
1st hint, A1 across: The year when "Silent Night" was first sung. Ans: 1818
2nd hint, D1 across: Temperature on the surface of the earth = 3C. What is the altitude (in m) where temperature = -6C? (For every 100m temperature drops 0.6C). Ans: 1500
3rd & 4th hint I have no idea what are the clues about. Too many Japanese characters too few Chinese. Below are my best guess.
3rd hint, B2 down: The height(in cm) of a character(name in Japanese) in a book/comic? by the author(name in Japanese). Ans: 55.5
4th hint, A3 down: How many is one dozen? Ans: 12

You have got to be joking. What Letter grid? I only see one line of letters and it's not even the whole alphabet, so how am I able to decode this thing and get the green number I need?
Look, none of the walkthroughs here actually helped, they make no sense. I'm not able to guess the green number, maybe it's something the creator fixed after realizing this, but it's of no use to me to guess this.
So help me out here...that letter grid, that first line. I know the answer from the first room was 1818. I copied and pasted the text into a google translator for Japanese to English and just subtracted 190 from 2008.
But I'm not getting any results and now I'm totally stuck.
I'm currently missing the 2nd piece of paper and an answer to decoding the letter grid.
Ok, nevermind. I figured how you get the green number. CJLO....*sigh* you can't guess at these numbers unless you've already seen them.
Walkthrough says nothing about where and how to find the key, nor how to open the safe on the wall. Advice please?
Green number is NOT a guess; to the right of the mysterious safe is a dark area that is another puzzle, with limited letters - this is the CJLO puzzle, and it opens onto a window view with a green #4 showing.
