put ink in clam, put fish in clam and make a print on blank paper u'll get a number
Pour ink in shellfish then use fish. Inked fish used on blank paper on the wall. Then use the empty bottle and fill it with water.
i placed ink on fish from shellfish and i got nmber on the blank paper on the wall. :D
i've put the ink in the sellfish, and put the fish in there, and printed the fish in the white paper at the right of the door, there appears a number 24
You have to pour ink into the open shell, then put there the fish and then put it on the paper on the wall.

You need an equation to open the chest. Pour water over the blank piece of paper. Remember your order of operations.

I guess you don't need to use an item on the star. Just click it until a number appears. My book disappeared too after I read it, but my second time around I still have it. It is 35.
You need equation that tells you what to do with your numbers.

Yay, and now the prince end. The ending depends on whether you pick the number from the black or white ship.

you need something to "print" the fish, then you will get a number from the fish.
The starfish is on the back of the book. You have to read it all the way through and then close it so you see the back cover.
i'm adding and multiplying but not getting it to open. am i that bad in math :(

I won't give the exact numbers by the equation is:
X + Y x Z
Remember that you have to do Y x Z BEFORE you add on X. Do NOT do X + Y and then multiply it by Z.

Yeah, now I've catched it. I restarted and read the book again. Found the star. If you don't read from cover to cover the book disappeared. That't it.
Ok, let me try to explain:
Star = 35
Fish = 24
White or Black ship = 3 or 5
24 x 3 = 72
72 + 35 = 107
24 x 5 = 120
120 + 35 = 155
24*3, get the result then add 35
god....this game is impossible...its either that or im just slow...need help please...if anybodys there:D
Multiplication and division always come BEFORE adding and subtracting. Order of operations.

click on the boat u where refered to have the number 3 or 5, and the prince or pirate appear, give him the ring, flower and shell, click the girl to give you the heart, place the heart in the door and you're out

Walkthrough:
-Read the book cover to cover. When you get to the back cover you see a starfish. Click it and see that star=35.
-Go left and pick up the bottle and the knife.
-View the knife until it becomes a corkscrew. Use the corkscrew on the bottle and get the ring, blank paper, and the empty bottle.
-Go left (or right) twice and get the coconut, tulip, and the stick.
-View the tulip and click it to get the caterpillar.
-View the coconut and use the knife on it. Get the hook.
-View the stick and unravel the string on it. Attach the hook and then the caterpillar.
-Use the empty bottle on the whale spouting water. Use the water on the blank paper. Get the equation star + fish x black or white ship.
-Go left (or right) twice and use the fishing rod on the fish.
-Use the empty bottle on the octopus ink.
-Go right and use the knife on the shellfish. Get the pearl. Use pearl on ring to get the pearl ring.
-Use ink on the opened shellfish, then use the fish on the ink.
-Use the inked fish on the blank paper on the wall. Get fish=24.
-Using the equation (and remember your order of operations that multiplication comes first), you get 107 from the black boat or 155 from the white boat.
-Enter one of these numbers (it will affect your ending) in the treasure chest with the octopus. Get the shellfish and hear the song it plays.
-Use the shellfish on whichever boat number you used for the equation.
-Give the prince or pirate the tulip, then the ring.
-Give the shellfish to the princess and get the heart.
-Use the heart on the concave space on the door and you’re out!
White ship = Prince End
Black ship = Pirate End
That was a very nice one.....

got the perle out of shell using knife and then added octo ink to it..and then added fish to it..put fish on paper on wall u getnumber 24
not crazy about themusic the shell rings...eek
