    I guess the wood and the paper tells us hints about de code of the clock, but uhmmm... yeah...

    ok, i'm with everyone else with the items, i've tried using everything in the fire but got nothing...the clock has a box with colors when when clicked on, but without being able to read the lingo i think there's no way to play to the end, unless someone gets lucky, please share

    If you look in the picture where you can see the vent & bench where you got the plate from, you can see a fine, white line at the top right corner of the ceiling. Not sure if it means anything or not. I've clicked like crazy.... to no avail, nothing :(

    There has to be a way to break that code with the clock. Evidently, I'm not smart enough to be the one to crack that one, of course, lol, but there has to be something. There are only 3 colors & 9 squares. Any one like to take a guess as to what it might be? I'm clueless!!

    I used google to translate the comments under the game. Someone there writes something about the fireplace and U-shape. I guessed that there should be a black u-shape and then row of whites on top & one red in the middle. But, of course I was wrong... Still, the fireplace might be a hint?

    i've been translating like crazy too.
    the floor mat under door, note next to door & firealarm has no use.
    the fireplace could be moved, but not sure with what.

    the towel in on floor from tv view has no meaning too.

    and they've weird translation for the lights (from japanese) "As for the electric light as for the doubtful place shortage so is"

    i'm so clueless now

    The numbers are going to stand for something else. All I have figured out so far is that either 2 and 8 are 4 and 0 (in some order). lol I know that because it can't be 2+2 because they are two different numbers. It can't be 3+1 because that leaves no options for the 1+6=5 equation. So, that leaves 4+0.

    815 is because each of the numbers stood for another number so you have to figure out what each number stands for. Kind of like a cryptogram but with numbers.

    the number at 2nd row referring to the sequence you should put in the safe.

    so...find what is 1 in 2nd row, and the number on top of it should be put first.

    I don't remember the code now but if you look at the bottom row of numbers they go from 1-5 and there are 5 numbers in the code. Just look at the number above 1, and that's your first number, then the number above 2 is your second number etc..

    for the first code 815,you have to count the writing brushes of each chinese word
    1)三(3brushes) + 四(5brushes) = 8 (brushes)
    2)九 - 一 = 1
    3)五 + 三 - 二 = 5

    The wood sign says "Black ink stained as a child" and the note says "The middle is red". (I am horribly butchering the translation of the sign)

    But child is pronounced "Ko", which can be written as コ. Which is why the clock puzzle solution is a black コ with red in the middle.

    When facing door: turn right once.
    Get note (first hint) from middle board under towel. return to previous view.
    Turn right once.
    Click vent grating.
    Get crowbar and return to previous view.
    In same view use crowbar on black spot, panel opens and take metal plate. Return to previous view.
    Turn left once to clock.
    Click clock
    From top left to bottom right:
    black, black, black,
    red, red, black,
    black, black, black.
    Get note (second hint) and lighter
    Return to previous view.
    Turn left or right twice towards door.
    Use lighter on smoke alarm. Fireplace extinguishes.
    Click fireplace.
    Use code 815. (number of brushstrokes for chinese caracters)
    Get rock from fireplace.
    Return to previous view.
    Combine rock and metal plate in about item.
    Use rock/plate as lever on dark spot in front of fireplace. Fireplace moves foreward.
    Second coded place becomes visible.
    Click there and look at numbers.
    Top row are numbers for code (varies with each game).
    Bottom row is sequence 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Put corresponding numbers in as code. Box opens. Get hammer and silver key.
    Return to previous view.
    Turn right once facing hourglass.
    Click hourglass cabinet.
    Use key on door and take hourglass.
    Return to previous view.
    View hourglass in detail in about item.
    Use hammer to smash hourglass and get golden key.
    Turn left once and use key on door.

    You're out.
