Escape to the Barbecue is another Japanese point and click type escape the room game by Tesshi-e, who is also creator of Mild Escape, Escape from the Underground Room and Escape from the Forest of the Fairy, Ground Escape games and many more. In this game, you are locked in a room and you need to escape the room by finding and using items with solving puzzles. There are three possible endings in this game. i already tried to mark the walls and stuff since it´s a magic marker and u can turn the light off... maybe it has to do smething with that ???

I've found another key after opening all the blue/yellow cylinders... i can't get it! I have a ruler but it obviously is only a 6 inch one :(
now im stuck with two blue things and a marker that i cant use anywhere and what seems to be part of a key?

eerst vul je 2 in, dan 4 en dan 8.
dan klik je met het laatste ijfer totdat je een n tegen komt, dan de derde totdat je een e tegen komt etc..
i tried using the marker to draw the ruler longer to get the other key, but that didn't work. lol

Code gefunden,paßt aber nicht,da steht two two two in groß und drüber Two Tree,also egal wie ichs eingebe geht nicht,manchmal kann ich noch nicht mal zahlen verstellen

got a new key... dosen't open the exit door though :(
it`s 2 4 8 and with the last one u can start spell open backwards
for the safe enter 248 then the last slot will give n after 9 then spell open right to left
the wire is on the painting. i just clicked wildly on it and got it..
for the pink code : when the first number is 2, then u can change the second to 4, then the third to 8 and then the forth to n, then go backwards and spell open. hope that helps

enter 2 then 4 then 8 and the last one will allow you to select n then go backwards to spell OPEN.

was able to get the slide projector and use slides to open other box, now have another key and it doesn't open the door

versuchs einfach mal, stell 2 4 8 0 ein und dann klick 10x auf die letzte Zahl (0), nach der 9 sollte nicht wieder "0" kommen, sondern ein n.

nottypomy: use it inside the blue cylinders (u open with the half key) to get key and happy coin.
HELLO, the code for the pink safe does not work for me...is it 2.4.8.0
gewittermond, click all over the painting, the wire will be on the floor in front of it after lots of clicking!
click the top of the painting a few times then back out and see it on the floor in front of it. then click the wire and it will change shape

if you click the painting again a few times it will turn back over so you can see the picture again

ok for the safe on the wall. You need to change first number to 2 then next # will change to 4 then next # to 8 then the last number will change all the way thru the 0-9 and 0-9 again after the second time thru 0-9 it will go to "n" then go to 8 and change it to "e" by going thru the numbers twice. keep doing this until you spell open left to right.
the coin is in the blue cylinders... arggg i feel so stupid! what's next???

happy coin is where you found the key that you had to use the wire.

lissannik: you are almost right on the pink code, you need to keep changing all the numbers to spell open and it shoudl open for you. as for the other safe teh numbers i got were 3675

u have to use both slides on the projector.

lisa when you put the projector on the table you can put one of teh mirror things in the right side that says film and turn the switch on then turn the light off and turn around the room to see it on the opposite wall then repeat with the other blue mirror
use the two slides (the mirror things) in the projector, they will both show you incomplete numbers but together... i think all the numbers are different with each game.
use red projector slide and marker on X
other blue mirror??? where is it?
U have to put one slide in projector at a time, write down shapes of one, then add shapes from other, between them you get 4 figure code, which gives you next key, then you get stuck like me :0(

red slide is in the cabinet where you found the projector. look up
Red slide is in green cabinet. Open doors below drawer and click to look up under drawer where red slide is taped.
open the drawer where you found the projector then click on the top(ceiling) of it

The pink code is for the numbers on the safe on the wall. Note they are both pink. It's a tricky puzzle.

got it finally opened the safe!! I didnt know you had to put the numbers together.:)

I've gotten the 2 projector slides and I tried combining them together but they don't come together to form coherent numbers!

My Red slide says PUSH X. I never got the rest of the code. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I don't know how i did it, but i turned te picture. Now i can see the numbers and the word 'open'. Used that. But how can i get the wire? I clicked about a thousends times on that picture, still nothing

The "mirrors" are actually slides...you need the slide projector in the green cabinet. Oh yeah and for everyone wondering what the marker is for, use it on the "x" projected by the red slide.

And out!!! Thank you to everyone for your most helpful hints! I usually don't post when I'm playing the game but that's usually because I'm way behind as far as playing when everyone else is...sigh! Always love Tessh-e's games...got my Happy Beer to go with the BBQ!!! Re: code for second safe...my code was 3675 also. Usually codes are the same (I think?) in Tessh-e games, so don't know if that will help anyone. Hope to post with everyone one of these days.
Hey Mieke...when you get the green/black key, go to the blue CD-looking things and hilite key and click on each blue cylinder. I found my Happy Coin in the middle on the bottom, I believe. But the green/blk key should get the coin for you. Hope that isn't in a different place in every game!
I agee with you mieke. and I think that isn't fair that they erase the other people comment just because is in another language, it's my opinion about that, because when you find somebody that understands your language is much more easier play the game.

Mieke...I clicked in the middle of the blue thingamajigs (very scientific terms!!!) and it showed up in one of the 6...maybe I'll play the game again and see if the coin is indeed in a different spot.

I was actually stuck trying to figure out second code. I see the posted answer, but was wondering how it was gotten. i don't know how to figure out what the picture code means?
My language is Dutch, sounds like Netherlands.

Mieke...I am playing the game again and this time the coin is in a different spot but I haven't found it yet but will let you know when I do.
this always happens to me :) I click all around something and find nothing. then a kind person gives a hint and i click again and voila! it's there. thx mielke found the second blue slide :)
