there is what looks like two screws in the wall to the left of the door.. tried to put the mirror there and ball,no luck
Theres also one of those screw things on the right window. This is crap, nearly 10 mins into a game and you cant figure out anything.... :(
No, you get the knife from above the door, then use it to cut the cord on the cellar door.

The knife is above the right window, pretty hard to click the correct point.

I like a challenge as much as the next gamer, but nothing is working in the cellar. Ill only hang round for a little bit more, but this is getting a bit rediculous imho
got the knife zoom in on tip of branch to the right of the door. i used the ball on the wall and got the knife

OMG! I was clicking around the tree, looking for the knife, and nothing was happening... so I changed tabs to the forum window, and when I clicked back on the game, all of a sudden it had zoomed in on the area with the knife! lol Don't ask me how it happened, it just did. hehe
Wanted to cut the cord with the knife but nothing....
I guess try clicking on the very tip of the branch that's above the right window, in order to zoom in, and then click on the center brick for it to open up.
i hope that i am not the only just clicking around in here and nothing is happening
Opened the cellar door with the knife -- just positioned the knife on the green lines and clicked.
Very buggy game, and frustrating. You can place the ball, the mirror, the knife and they stay, so you think maybe you've got something, then they just move again.
why does the water flicker in the cellar, when your cursor passes over it

i thought maybe it was some sort of riddle cuz theres a trap door so maybe theres a button but i seriously cant find one and then i thought maybe in order 2 find the button ud have 2 light an area on the wall but that didnt work either...

take knife and cut leaves off of braches in the right tree
I've tried cutting the ball with the knife,possibly to use in handling the cut wire, but nothing. I've just knifed everything outside too.
Thankfully it's a seemingly endless pack of matches...
sorry, it only allows the moon light to shine on the block where you get the knife from.....

it's stupid !!!! to cut the leaves you need the knife an at the same time cutting the tree allows you to find the knife.

There is a box of matches at the base of the lamp.
the only beam of light i have outside is on the right where the knife was.

Cut the leaves allowing beam of light to shine on compartment where knife was. then click on bottom of it to move it. it shines beam of light on tree. click on that and it shines beam of light to the left. click on wall to uncover four compartments and move them by clicking on the bottom. then light shines into basement. place mirror on trap door and it reveals red button. push to open door to house.
game is very buggy.

It isn't a second beam. It just rebounds along. To move the compartment (for lack of a better term) keep clicking at the bottom part of the lighted rectangle that is there.

Hi everybody! I found another mirror in the kitchen and a 7
don't remember what I clicked on the tree, but i think there is a circle on the left side of the tree to click.
i have clicked all over where the knife came from no beam shifts to the tree. if i click the right of the box it moves to the left but the beam doesnt shift!
I get it, it's just bouncing off the tree to the wall. I can cut away leaves, but apparently not enough of them. I think the "window" they've squished this game into is too small and is cutting off a portion. I'm going to check for an alternative link. BRB

I think Kimbly is right. You have to cut the leaves a couple of times for the beam to shine through enough

Take the blue key from the pillow and put it in the picture that is to the left of the scary red baby picture.
It looks like a rocket about to take off. did you zoom in so you were only able to see the top section with a little hole in it. That's were I was last and after I tried the match on it and backed up it was burning
I forgot to back up to see what had happened. It is lit now, for what it's worth. Hopelessly stuck now.

Haven't figured out any significance to pulling the cord on the lamp in the bedroom either.
Can turn on the lamp next to the bed with the blue key. Couldn't before I placed the blue key into the comparment next to the red baby pic.

The light cord in the bedroom allows you to see the red 4 on the calendar.
I was able to put the 2nd mirror under the crystal ball earring thing and i can see a small yellow 6 or 9 on it.

Shiela: Click on the right pillow with the knife, it should cut a slash in it. You can then grab the little blue speck.
Very, very stuck. We have 3 numbers, 1 key, and no idea what to do next...
Use the knife on the right pillow. The key doesn't look like a traditional key, it's a square blue object.
I wonder if the numbers everyone is finding will correspond to compartments in the cabinet eventually.
Walkthrough please. I'll even take a partial walkthrough. Someone just please explain the knife and cutting of the leaves of the tree! I cut the leaves but now what?

let's give this a try
Leaf problem:
- Cut the leaves in the upper right with the knife until a beam of light shines through
- Click on the square where the light hits and make sure the mirror side is out
- You have to click on the right side of the mirror until it shifts a few times. You'll know you've succeeded when a new beam comes off of it. This took me FOREVER
- Click on the spot on the tree where the new beam hits. Shift that spot until a new beam arrives
- Zoom out and go to the wall where the new beam hits. Turn all 4 compartments around and click DOWN on all 4 mirrors until they ALL stop moving. You will get NO indication that it works, but when you zoom out there should be a beam of light shining on the cellar door.

Once you get the blue "jewel" from the pillow and put it in the secret chamber..you can click on it and it turns...I am not totally sure what that does, but its something.

This game had such potential!! Its got great graphics and music...but its so pixely its not even funny!! Plus the click sound every time you click something is really annoying. Yes I know I can mute it but then you might miss out on something important!

Found the blue key in the pillow, turned on the lamp in bedroom and see the red four on calendar. Turned on the jewel on the wall and put the mirror below it to see the yellow six. See the orange seven in the bottle on kitchen shelf.
I can't find anything else.

you can zoom in on chest of drawers and wall clock..i think we should try to do something with the washbasin and the shut drawer in kitchen..ive tried using my knife on pretty much everything but no luck so far
We're playing this game on our polish blog. So have the hints for you:
1. Turn blue 6 times to open a drawer.
2. Turn grey 7 times to open right door.
3. Turn red 4 times to open a safe under the picture.
4. Turn last key 8 times to ....
did anyone else notice that the picture of mr. scary baby on his ear is the same little hole thing as on the jewely thing?
