i had a phone call before i could finish the game... aargh... now i'm out and i want to say thanks again for this great game @Miller... i'm waiting for the next ;-)

THX, 11 12 11 worked for the third code.

I'm out. Nice game, Miller.

OK...I really need help here... I'm just not getting the fish code. When I look behind the fish I see something that looks like 6009. No matter how many times I turn it upside down, mirror image, or inverse numbers, it always looks like 6009 (or 9006) which is obviously NOT correct since I can't get out!!!!! What am I doing wrong? I have all the other codes, and I"m pretty sure I'll down the whole bottle of Jack if someone can't rescue me soon!!

Turn the note 180 degrees and you see numbers (the first and the last are a circle with a horizontal line so those are 8).

7838 is the first code

The hint is the paper that burned in the fireplace
which says 123 = 123 (reverse)

just came back and noticed there still some problems. the code behind the red fish pic is a random one...and as s-t mentioned right(thanks s-t), you have to rotate it clockways 180 degrees. the font is called "BN Internet", I don't know if it's a standard font which everyone has...

Lol Miller, counter clock wise also works (that's the fun with 180 degrees)

Not very fun. Got into 2nd room - fine. found a screwdriver, a balled up piece of paper in the locker. I did NOT find a piece of paper in any of the fruit paintings. I clicked everywhere and started feeling ill because of the paintings going back and forth. Ugg. I am dyslexic too and some here said click the left side and others said click the right side. I LOVE the term "dark lemons" - that was the best part of this game. Thanks to whoever said that.

@s-t: uhm, I..., it's just that..., so..., eh...I JUST WANT YOU TO ROTATE IT CLOCKWISE!!! AND MAYBE I EVEN WANT YOU TO DO IT CLOCKWAYS!!!! ;)

oh god, even I got confused and posted the wrong corner. but deleted the comment right away.

@4red3s: click the bottom right corner of "dark lemmons" ;) picture. should work though..

Still I was naughty and rotated my note onmy desk counter clock wise (it's the natural way if you're right handed).

By the way working on a WT now.

@Miller - thanks! This was a lot of fun! Really got me thinking, but I managed to get out with only a couple of hints from people. Thanks to everyone for all the helpful hints!

thanks s-t! and if you have anything in mind that could be better or more clear, feel free to tell me (everyone else of course as well), so I can take keep that in mind for the next game.
btw: what was that comment about that the 2nd room has five walls?

Nothing in mind right now, the game was perfect.
About the 5 walls, I was hoping nobody noticed that comment, but somehow I was confused and thought I went around 5 times and kept thinking that a long time and later I saw it was just 4. Don't know what happened.
Btw, the fish code is different every game isn't it?

yes, it's a random code. but the font is called ""BN Internet", I don't know if anyone has it (like arial) or not...

with anyone of course I mean everybody

Brilliant game! Loved the 3 final puzzles and was lucky to get them on my own (but must admit I was a bit stuck in fruit calculations because at first I calculated all pieces as one fruit so I used help from walkthrough to get over that part.)

WALKTHROUGH PART 1

YELLOW BROWN ROOM

DOOR II
- Click the left plant and then the bottom of the left plant and take the GREY KEY.
- Use the key on the door and go in.

GREY ROOM

KIWIs
- See there are 2 kiwi's (4 halfs).
- GO RIGHT.

DESK
- See there are 2 lemons.
- Open the second drawer on the left and take the SCREWDRIVER.
- GO RIGHT.

DOOR
- See there are 4 oranges and 3 apples.
- GO RIGHT.

CUPBOARD
- See there are 2,5 limes.
- Open the right cupboard door and take the FIRST HALF PAPER.
- Zoom in on the limes, click the bottom right corner and take the SECOND half PAPER.
- GO LEFT and back to the ...

YELLOW BROWN ROOM
- Go left.

DOOR III
- Look at the two papers combined and see (Limes x Kiwi's + Oranges x Lemons) ^ Apples. So that's (2,5 x 2 + 4 x 2) ^ 3 and that's (5 + 8) ^ 3 and that's 13 x 13 x 13 = 2197.
- Zoom in on the code panel and put it in, click E, open the safe and take the RED KEY.
- Open the door with the key and go in.

DARK BROWN ROOM

TABLE & CHAIR
- Zoom in on the book on the table open it and take the NUMBER SHEET.
- GO LEFT.

BOOKCASE & CHAIR
- Zoom in on the bookcase and take the HAMMER from the top left. Open the top right book and see on the bottom left the hint A! = Z! = 1 and Z! = A! = 26. Open the right book from the second (from the top) shelf and see Boutros Boutros-Ghali was born on the 14th of November 1922 and was Secretary General of the UN. Open the sixht (from the left) book on the seceond (from the top) shelf and see Kofi Atta Annan was born on the 8th of April 1938 and was Secretary of the UN. Open the right book from the second (from the bottom) shelf and see Ban Ki-Moon 1944 was born on the 13th of June and is Secretary General of the UN. Open the second (from the left) book from the second (from the bottom) shelf and take the YELLOW PAPER. There a re more books you can open but those are red herrings.
- GO LEFT (2x).

FIREPLACE
- Put the yellow paper in the fire and now you have a YELLOW PAPER with HINT.
- GO RIGHT and back to the yellow brown room, right and back to the...

WALKTHROUGH PART 2

GRAY ROOM
- Go left.

CUPBOARD
- Use the hammer on the cross on the left side of the wall and take the PENCIL.
- GO RIGHT, back to the yellow brown room, left and back to the ...

DARK BROWN ROOM

TABLE & CHAIR
- Zoom in on the book on the table, open it and use the pencil on the left page and see the sign of the UN, so now you know you have to use those books about the UN guys. And see the three puppets under it and see their lengths.
- GO LEFT (2x), back in the ...

YELLOW BROWN ROOM

DOOR IV
- Zoom in on the code panel and use the screwdriver to open it. Now remember the birthdates of those 3 guys Ghali is the oldest and born 14th of november; he is a Scorpio. The middle one is Annan and he's Aries (april 8th) and the youngest is Moon and he's Gemini (june 13th). Now remember the three puppets after using the pencil. The order (if you look at length and see that as age) is then Middle-Youngest-Oldest, so Aries, Gemini, Scorpio. So put that in ( ♈ ♊ ♏ ). Click the red button, zoom out and go in the new room.

WHITE ROOM

GREEN PLANT
- GO RIGHT

GREEN with RED PLANT
- Click the plant and look at the bottom an see POP!.
- Zoom in on the bottom left of the wall, about item your number sheet and see the number 96083 (also see the pentagon at the bottom).
- GO RIGHT (2x).

FISH PICTURE
- Zoom in on the fish picture and click the bottom right corner to see the backside and see the letters (the code is different every game, so write it down).
- GO LEFT, through the door back to the ...

YELLOW BROWN ROOM
- Go right.

EXIT DOOR
- Zoom in on the code panel.
- The first code has a fish. Now remember the letters you saw on the backside of the fish picture and remember the note you used in the fire. On that note 123 was rotated 180 degrees so do the same with the letters from the fish and you can see numbers, those are the numbers for the fish code. Put them in and click E. If you did it correct you see okay and can do the next code.
- The second code has a pentagon so that's the number you made with the number sheet. So put in 96083, click E and again you see okay and you can do the next code.
- The third code has an exclamation mark (!). Now remember POP had an ! too and in the book was A! = Z! = 1 and Z! = A! = 26 (so also exclamation marks) so those to go together. Well the book clue tells you to do the alphabet backwards so Z = 1, Y=2 etc. And in that way POP is 111211. Put that in, click the E and take the BIG KEY.
- Zoom out, use the big key on the door and out.

thanks for the perfect WT s-t!

Your Welcome Miller, but that's the least I can do back if you provide us with such great games.
Btw. did you see Tania used the walkthrough before it wasn't even there!?

       Anonymous  12/20/10, 1:24 PM

So glad I didn't give up. Thanks for the tip - Miller. :) My only hangup - the teenie tiny pixel to see the backside of the paintings. After that... Fun. Good puzzles - not too hard -- not too easy. And even a history lesson in the books.

I could not open the whiskey though.... Oh well.

yeah, I was confused by that too. maybe she got supernatural powers or is just a fellow stalker of yours who has access to your computer...

Hmmm, my fish has a sign of a red circle with a horizontal bar on the back in stead of numbers.... Did I forget to do something?

Lol, Yes it could be, a few months ago we had some e-mail contact. But it's okay I wouldn't mind being stalked by Tania, she is a very nice lovely lady.

@Rob: I think that's an eight

Rob, that one is an 8 (and don't forget to rotate the letters 180 degrees).

CLOCKWISE!

Had to come back and read the extra comments... almost as entertaining as the whole game and earlier comments...LOL

Comments = walkthrough?...
as it says on the tab above?
too funny you two....@miller and @s-t!

Or counter clockwise if you're stubborn.

@Miller: Thanks! Now.... how do I make one 8 into four digits?

And I don't have letters on the back of the fish picture, just the red 'no go' sign.

Doesn't just one 8 work as code?

@Rob: wow, that should be a seldom scenario. the red fish code is a random number from 0-9999. so in this case your code is probably just "8" (if I get you right)

!!!!! @Smalltool: Why yes, it does! 0-o

@Miller: You got me right, it was!

Great game, Miller - thanks. Logical, but not easy - just the way I like them!

@S-t & Miller, thanks for the help and a good game, out now!

thanks again everyone (especially s-t for the WT and helping other guys). have some other stuff to do today and must get up in 8 hours (almost 11 pm here in berlin). see you!

@Miller, outstanding!!!
I finally got a chance to play straight through and loved every minute of it. Please give us more!
(btw, I rotated my "fish number" 180 right, then 180 left, then 180 left again, 180 right three times, and finally 180 left. And it worked!)

       Anonymous  12/20/10, 5:32 PM

Thanks Miiller.Nice game!
I enjoyed it. ^^

       Anonymous  12/20/10, 6:38 PM

OK...no wonder I was stumped. I kept reading the 0 with the horizontal line through it as a 0 (nil)...not an 8. But if I had gotten that part correct, my code was super easy...because it was 6889...which upside down is....6889 (that's rotated clockwise OR counter-clockwise for mr. stubborn toolio) :)

Very nice game, Miller. Thank you!

what is the fish code

what is the fish code

Very nice game!

Out! Great game Miller! Thanks!

@miller
i managed to escape on my own and am pretty proud of it… even if it took me a couple of hours
wanted to tell you that this is the most beautiful and pleasant escape game i've ever played
thanks a lot to you !!!

Fish code is 8046

Great game Miller Thx

How do you make anything of the fish code?

All I see is a backward "e" and an oddly-shaped "s".

Ah, never mind. My fish code was only two digits long.

Miller: great game, hope we will play more of urs soon :)

How do you turn over the fish?

Haha, this was tough. But it was fun. :) Great game.
