For me, these games are no more playable : even without the ad blocker, they don't work. I used to play them in Chrome (without ad blocker and without Ghostery), but this time, Avast blocks the site because it detects a malevolent advertising program. Too much advertisements kills advertisement... I like to play, but I don't want my PC to be infected by malwares !

I have 8 escapemen, but I don't know how to use the towel and the tape.
Found 9 men, stuck now. Don't know what do with TV.... .
Open door right side to use towel. No idea for tape... .
Got 6 men and a clue of panels/stripes?
The towel fits at the bottom of the right sliding door...

I've already used the tape on the sliding doors, but I missed the hotspot on the right of the exit door. Thank you. I have 9 escapemen now. I wish I knew where the 10th is...

I had to restart and 2nd time there was a man on my duct tape!
The escape men:
-in sink
-in can (use opener, then eat food)
-right of tv cab
-In teru teru bouzu doll hanging above sliding doors
-under sofa (use flashlight from left of tv cab)
-clean card right of door with wet towel
-in mail slot
-on duct tape after taping sliding doors
-wind-up radio from table (facing sliding doors)
-using codes on cell phone
(To finish, use remote then combined man on tv)
Code for cell phone is: 40010-99=39911

tape: you have to watch WHICH drawer of the desk you're opening :)

Yes, and this is another misleading thing - but by the authors!
You cannot determine whether 'English' means "Now the current language IS English" or "Click this to SWITCH to English".
This is why it's more sensible to label the area "Switch to English" / "Switch to Japanese" than just firing away with the language names.

OUT with some help from here, don't understand where the code for the phone came from, had nothing that could be numbers on my sink or table
the number is the strange "graphics" on the back side of the paper you find at the sink

Also cannot figure out how you see numbers on those papers. Just lines and blocks. Otherwise fun game.
numbers are a little hard to read but 40010 minus 99 equals 39911. Since there are no number clues in Japanese version, there must be more to it.
I get so excited on Fridays when I finally sit down and find an escape men game. :)
How to get the numbers (if you play in English):
1. Paper next to sink says "SHIMANTO"
Click it to see backside = "40010"
2. Facing window, click table at bottom of screen
See paper "TSUKUMO"
Click it to see backside = "99"
3. Bottom drawer under tv has paper
"SHIMANTO - TSUKUMO"
[If you play in Japanese, the first 2 notes don't appear and the 3rd note is in Japanese.]
I tried to translate the Japanese note in Google Translate and I think it just says "SHIMANTO - TSUKUMO" also. Wonder how they get numbers. Maybe a bug in the game?

until arbeitslooser's suggestion is implemented, if you're not sure whether you should click "English" or not on the start screen, look at the title (first line on screen)- if it's in Japanese, you'll play the Japanese version. If it's in English, you'll play the English version.
